Chapter 4:

Impressions Pt. 1

While Having Cheats And Bonus In My New Life At Fantasy World, As A Closet Otaku, I Will Be Living The Way I Want

Earlier after switching to a fresh set of new clothes before I was accompanied by my three maids to the meeting hall to wait for the teachers to arrive, my brown-haired adopted elder sister, Suzu, and my adopted elder sister who has lavender hair with matching lavender eyes, Anya, wished me luck. They told me that should I need assistance and help, they'll be here for me which in a way reminded me of how I was to my younger siblings and cousins in my past life.

Currently with my three lovely maids, I took a moment to look at the painting of my ancestor and a literal carbon copy of myself, James MacMillan, a white-haired handsome guy with red eyes, by the time of painting, wore what I suspected to be a British Red Coat Officer uniform with a tricorne hat.

James MacMillan from what I learned about him never shaved once because of his genetics, the "no growth of facial hair" and younger appearance, which became a trademark to us, his descendants. Lived during the era of Wilhem II of Freival, he was a skilled planner, architect, organizer, planer, swordsman, and marksman.

When I first saw the paintings and pictures of him, in courtesy of the null spell, [Illustare], through my grandfather, mother, and relatives during the last year's reunion, I thought he's a sus --- a reincarnator or transmigrator who got here in this world by a chance.

At least, there's no need for me to shave because of him. I was like that too as Emmanuel in courtesy of genetics.

"Alessia," I said to one of my assigned maids who was on my left side. She's a fair-skinned Siren with light gray hair and green eyes who wore what I would call a Japanese maid uniform from my past life because of that kimono. She's also the youngest of the maids in the household. "I appreciate tea prepared by yourself. I expect more to come, including improvements in the future."

"Thank you, Young Master!" brightly replied Alessia. "I'll do my best to meet your expectations."

'What a dedicated girl.... I would love to have a spar session with them as part of training someday.' I thought, thinking about the day I first met Alessia and Rhea and what skills these trio have, before letting out a neutral friendly smile first to Alessia, then to Sasame, and lastly, to, Rhea. "The same goes to everyone. It's my way of saying thank you for looking after me."

The black-haired half-elf, Rhea Wellesley, confidently replied for them after the other two smiled and nodded at her. "You're welcome, Goshujin-sama. We're really happy to get to know you from our respective duty as your maids and also as individuals."

"Well, then," I started to say while smiling. "Keep up the good work! I look forward to what will come to us in the future. So, my lovely beautiful maids, if you have something to say, do understand I am here ready to listen."

"""Will do, Goshujin-sama / Young Master!"" came my lovely maids in unison, causing me to smile and nod my head in satisfaction.

'Perhaps I should look at them more and think about it...' Still waiting in the meeting room while pleasantly happy for them while thinking what should I do with my lovely maids once I reach the age, I thought back to the days I had from my past life before and after the Transition.

My friends, including the White Russians and former Soviets who took refuge in the Imperial States and Japan from the Georgian Red Tsar's paranoid self, were there.

My family and my past life's father's friends and Andre were there.

My army buddies and comrades were there.

Most of all, my precious ones whom I fully love with my heart were there and by my side before I took the military reservist program and did 'things' in the Imperial States for the good of the country's growth and security, were there.

I missed those days.

'Hm,' I asked myself. 'What would it be like to have her or one of them here by my side once more in this world?'

Looking at the closed door, I, myself, wished that I had time to do range work with my guns privately to make myself catch the tune slightly.

In order for me to do that, my 'gun work' and exercises in peace and no distractions, I had to tell my parents my secret in order for them not to worry about me disappearing. I haven't told them that yet. I knew I had to reveal it someday because I need to do my usual training routine only at this time in my current life, having no very precious important companion who served as my partner and trusted confidant around.

Like what Andre said before I trained under him and my father's friends, a good soldier must be sharp as a sword in times of peace.

Sensing mana presence coming in, I put on a façade.

'Here it comes.'

With doors opened by two maids outside, two female elven figures entered the room --- they're beautiful silver-haired elves with matching aqua eyes that reminded me of the calm gaze of the sky itself.

From my judgement on their appearance, ignoring their almost matching colors of their clothes, my guess, they appear to be in a way, blood-related.

Following behind them was a brown-haired girl in a kimono with her hair tied into two thick twin tails supported by a hair string. Don't be fooled by that appearance outside. She's---

"My dear Caesar," said the brown-haired youthful girl, her childish voice 'betraying' her actual age. "I would like you to meet one of my friends, the Chauvestel Sisters, Cara, and Yuna, I told you about in my stories. Starting today, they're your mentors."

"Nice to meet you, Caesar." the taller elven girl of the Chauvestel Sisters, who I assumed to be Cara, greeted me. "We heard a lot about you from your mother. All good things."

"That's right," the shorter elven girl, who I assumed to be Yuna, added. "Theresa also told us about your curiosity about our profession, adventurer. If you have questions and are curious about our experience as adventurers, feel free to ask us."

"Thank you very much, I'm under your care, Miss Cara, Miss Yuna."

"So do we." said Cara as she gently smiled. "Now about how you address us, no need for honorifics except sensei for training and study sessions."

'No honorifics except for sessions? That's strange...' Looking at my mother, Theresa, for a second, in my life, I swear I saw her smiling while giving me a thumbs up.

'Huh!? Why do I have a feeling Mom's mischievous just now with that smile?' Ignoring the alarm, I smiled back.
