Chapter 38: Gaito VS. Trample Horn!

(As Japan and Russia battled in the ring, Baisho had his concerns for the team but most of the attention was on Gaito and Trample Horn colliding their fists after every blow they throw.)
"Trample Horn: YOU HAVE MUSCLE! BUT NO BRAIN IF THINK YOU CAN OUTSMART ME!"
"Gaito: Guess again, Rhino dipshit! You're talking to the guy, who HAS NEVER LOST A FIGHT!"
(They'd both lock one another up and the both of them growled which began to crack the ring, little by little. As Azumi and Velriot had one another's back, they was surrounded by four other girls and they both thought of a plan.)
"Velriot: Azumi! They said no weapons are allowed right?!"
"Azumi: Yes! Just elements and hand to hand combat!"
"Velriot: Then its legal to use these babies!"
(She grabbed a big chunk of stone from the ring and manifested the surface of the stone into her fists which created stone gauntlets and transferred some to Azumi which has the girls confused.)

"Azumi: What did you do??"
"Velriot: They said, we can't use weapons! But its legal for us our elements with this ring for purposes like this! These girls are experts with close-range attacks and they're heavy with their hits! If we counter them with whatever's harder than their hits, we can win this!"
"Azumi: I see!"
(The four girls closed in on them as Azumi and Velriot was swallowed by an abyss hole then spat out behind them then ran towards the girls and fought two each. Lotus countered multiple attacks one by one as Silvershot was firing silver bullets at them each from his element spell.)
"Russian Fighter: WHY ARE YOU DODGING! WHY WON'T YOU FIGHT BACK?"
"Lotus: If I did fight, I'd risk killing you."
"Russian Fighter: DOESN'T MATTER! BRING IT ON, OLD MAN!!!"
(He paused for a second and caught his foot with just two fingers.)

"Lotus: Old man...? I believe the term is "Master. Lotus." But if you want to call me an old man..."
(Lotus showed a serious look at him.)
"I'LL SHOW YOU HOW OLD I AM!"
(He swung his foot in midair which had him spinning and yelling and Lotus pushed his knuckles against his torso and took a deep breath.)
"Go...JAI!"
(A powerful force of wind pushed the fighter towards the outside but Lotus walked on air and started attacking him from the arena's blind spots which surprised the crowd entirely.)
"Announcer: WHAT ARE WE SEEING HERE?!?! THAT'S LOTUS WALKING AND ATTACKING ON THIN AIR!!!!"
"Lotus: NOW YOU SEE.. THIS IS GOJAI! THE ASSASSIN'S FISTS OF THE VENGEFUL RAVEN!"
(Lotus kicked himself up into the air and spun himself into a 360 wheel and landed a ferocious axe kick which drove him straight to the outside of the ring and caused debris around the referees after clearing the way.)

"Referee #3: Shastin Alexei Maximovich has been eliminated by Lotus of Japan!"
"Lotus: The shame of the young, they have no respect for the old-generation..."
(The fans was surprised but Trample Horn was caught off guard by one elimination which gave Gaito the chance to land an electrocuted punch to his stomach which landed directly then Trample Horn gripped Gaito's arm tightly and threw him across the ring but Gaito handed on his feet perfectly.)
"Trample Horn: HOW DID SHASTIN GET ELIMINATED BY OLD MAN?!
"Gaito: That's no old man! That's Lotus, the number one assassin in Yamaguchi!"
(Lightning started to conduct from Gaito's fists then to his arms.)
"And to tell the truth... if he's going to show off, its time for me to release what I got!"
(Trample Horn roared loudly to the point muscle fibers grew out of his skin and ripped apart and his power and strength began to grow at an alarming rate.)

"Trample Horn: BRING IT ON!!"
(Gaito and him charged at one another and landed a headbutt at the same time then had a headbutt showdown to the point the thuds began creating echoes.)
"Masunashi: Wow... he's holding on out there..!! You can do it Gaito!!!!"
(Johide cheered him on as well, so for his mother and everyone else in the crowd started to chant Gaito which brought Suvorkin to a disbelief look.)
"Gaito: RRRAAAAHHHH!!"
(Gaito began to electrocute his entire head and won the headbutt showdown with a powerful hit to the horn which made Trample Horn back up in pain but his horn then showed a crack. After so, Gaito's head started to bleed after a few cuts opened up.)
"Suvorkin: No....."
"Baisho: Suvorkin, no hard feelings right..?"
(She had her eyes covered by her hair then got up with fury enraged inside her pupils.)

"Suvorkin: TRAMPLE HORN!!!!!!!! USE YOUR TRUMP CARD NOW, SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!"
(Trample Horn then growled and had red aura glowing around him which then revealed his possessed-like eyes and roared loudly which paused the fighting for everyone else. After the roar stopped, his muscle fibers tightened around one another which increased his height to thirteen feet tall and had Gaito look up without fear.)
"Baisho: What did you do..?"
"Suvorkin: I told him to activate his trump card.. THE RUSSIAN MANSLAUGHTERER!"
(Trample Horn roared and ran faster than before at Konnor until he quickly got out the way and tried to blast a dark energy wave at him but bounced off into the ground then pummeled Konnor into the ring then he jumped into the air and caused the ring to rattle, close to shattering as more cracks formed.)
"Ares: Such a monstrosity..."
"Poseidon: I must agree."
"Caerus: Ngh.. this is not good for these guys."
(Trample Horn ran towards Velriot and she was off-guard by the attack until Noah dived in time and took the mighty blow which he cushioned in time with his ice but made him vomit blood after being blasted into the walls and past the audience's seats.)

"Everyone: NOAH!"
"Gaito(Thinking): This idiot doesn't know how to use his trump card..!!"
(He quickly looked over to see Okisaki pinned down by the rubble of the ring as the spectators tried to evacuate quickly but Trample Horn looked at her and roared, ran then into the air to crush her.)
"Okisaki: Oh no..!! I CAN'T MOVE..!!!"
"Trample Horn: NOW YOU DIE, PUNY RATS!!!"
(At the final second, debris was formed as the jump was stopped at Gaito's fists holding his foot at 100% of his Demigod power.)
"Okisaki: G-Gaito...?!"
"Suvorkin: WHAT?!"
"Preston: THAT'S... AMAZING!"
(The spectators stopped running to see Gaito save Okisaki in time but the announcers and Sawano was in shock more than anyone else.)

"Ares: Is that...? Lightning...?!"
"Kira: Kira has predicted this. Gaito is no longer a mere human, he's the Pure Demigod of Lightning now."
"Baisho: I've never doubted our Demigod for a second."
"Suvorkin: How is this possible..?!!!"
"Baisho: Gaito is one of the most powerful people Japan holds as the fifth rank fighter. He might be underestimated, but underestimation is a fatal mistake when it comes to this guy. Tick him off and he awakens his true self."
"Gaito(Altered Voice): Threaten my friends. THE COST IS YOUR LIFE.!"
"Trample Horn: YOU NO SCARE ME, I CRUSH YOU NOW!"
"Gaito(Altered Voice): THINK. AGAIN."
(Gaito's entire arm blasted itself with electricity to the brim.)
"LIGHTNING DRAGONS, RAKIRI FIST!"
(He landed a direct uppercut to Trample Horn which exploded the stadium's roof open, revealing the night sky and Gaito launched himself into the air and two dragons of lightning charged his Lightning Bolt.)
"LIGHTNING... BOLT!"

(The skies struck Gaito with dangerous amounts of lightning then he'd quickly fire the bolt at Trample Horn which then rumbled the Earth as Kira quickly created indestructible shields to protect them, the referees, Sawano, the commentators and the spectators from being blasted by the debris. As the debris cooled down, Trample Horn lied there drilled seven feet under the stadium which had the referees look around at the others for Russia outside the ring but Japan's team saved from Crystalline's shields.)

"Referee #5: All members of Russia's team has been eliminated..! Therefore, Japan wins...!!!"
(The arena was silent then the crowd roared once again with excitement for Japan's win as everyone across the universe was speechless at what they've seen, even Zeus and Hades.)
"Hades: WHAT...? HOW CAN A DAMNED HUMAN LIKE HIM... BE SO GODDAMN POWERFUL...!!"
"Zeus: This... is magnificently impressive..."
(He remembered what he said to Gaito back then but started to sweat a bit. A few hours passed and everyone returned to the hotel where Gaito walked inside but everyone was silent after he came in and Suvorkin walked up towards him.)
"Suvorkin: Gaito. Tamarei. You're Zeus's lightning Demigod.. aren't you.?"
"Gaito: Yeah. So?"
"Suvorkin: You and your power is DESPICIABLE! I DESPISE IT!"
"Gaito: Aww don't get mad that your little puppy is broken."
"Suvorkin: You and your "LIGHTNING POWER FROM ZEUS" IS NOTHING BUT AN EMBARRASSMENT AND STOP PRETENDING TO ACT COOL WITH THAT BLINDFOLD!"
(She'd reach for it but Gaito grabbed her hand and threw it back at her.)

"Gaito: Don't touch the blindfold, K? Help yourself to some champagne in the cafeteria and then go see your "Trample boyfriend."
(He'd pat her shoulder then walked away to his hotel room then Suvorkin screamed in anger. A while later, Okisaki held something behind her back and walked towards Gaito's room with a smile on her face.)
"Okisaki(Thinking): Hopefully, Gaito would like these... After he saved me, something... about me feels a bit different. Is it because... he looked a bit.. No....!!"
(She smiled and skipped her way there but stopped at the corner and saw Sawano speaking with Xiazress.)
"Xiazress: I don't know.. if this is working out."
"Sawano: Xiazress, tell me the truth. Is Kazuya even our child..?"
(Okisaki silently gasped and tried to not speak but kept peeking to get a closer listen in.)
"Xiazress: I...."
"Sawano: Xiazress."
(She continued to say nothing as flames was being conducted from Sawano's hands.)

"XIAZRESS."
"Xiazress: I CAN'T TELL YOU OK..!!"
"Sawano: So he's not our child."
"Xiazress: I JUST CAN'T TELL YOU DAMN IT!"
"Sawano: Why can't you? You think my heart is a damn joke to be played with? Is that what it is? Huh? IS IT?!"
"Xiazress: NO SAWANO! ITS NOT!"
"Sawano: THEN WHY CAN'T YOU TELL ME?!"
"Xiazress: BECAUSE KAZUYA IS ADOPTED!!"
(He froze for a moment in complete shock and Okisaki was as well.)
"Sawano: What. Did you say.?"
"Xiazress: I'm sorry... Sawano.. I'm really sorry I lied to you... I didn't want to tell you yet...!"
"Sawano: Sorry..? Ha. You think "sorry" is going to fix what I feel right now..? Do you understand how much HELL, we've been through and you tell me out of your own damn mouth that you was pregnant...? AND IT WAS A LIE..? Instead you adopted a kid, that isn't even ours..."
"Xiazress: Sawano...?"
(She reached for his hand but walked away then Okisaki turned the corner and dropped the bag of hoagies for Gaito.)
"Okisaki: You... adopted Kazuya...?"
(Xiazress turned the corner and saw Okisaki with the face of shock.)

"Xiazress: I'm sorry but... Voidion's... don't get pregnant. That's what makes us different to the human race."
"Okisaki: But why...? Why did you lie to Sawano and say you was pregnant when you knew you can't become pregnant....?"
"Xiazress: When I told him, I was pregnant... I couldn't tell him the truth that.. Kazuya was adopted."
"Okisaki: Well why.. why can't you become pregnant like female humans..?"
"Xiazress: Voidions can have intercourse yes. But... pregnancy is impossible to the female kind. We do not have the organs for such thing. As we all wished to have children, only few of our women has been blessed by the Abyss Gods with such an ability to give birth. But alas... I'm not one of them..."
(Okisaki hugged her with grief engraved in her eyes.)
"Okisaki: So you adopted one... as thought of it as a child of your own..?"
"Xiazress: It seemed like the only thing to do..!"
"Okisaki: Well.. look. I'm on your side on this one, Xiazress. Even if you can't become pregnant."
"Xiazress: Thanks Okisaki.."
(She'd pick back up the bag of hoagies which was protected by the wrappers and walked away.)

"Who're those for?"
"Okisaki: Oh! Umm.... Just a friend!"
(She'd turn back and headed towards Gaito's room but started to think about Sawano for a moment.)
"(Thinking): Sawano.. I know you're my brother, but I'm siding with her on this matter.."
(A while later, Okisaki appeared at Gaito's door and dropped off the bag of hoagies at his door and a note then knocked and quickly disappeared.)
"Gaito: Huh? Who's there?"
(He looked down to see the bag of hoagies and the note.)
"Okisaki(Note): Thanks for saving me back at the match. These are for you, Okisaki."
(Gaito looked at the note and dragged the hoagies inside then closed the door behind him.)
"Gaito: Aw damn. She didn't have to do that for me. My instincts just snapped, it was normal."
(Meanwhile, the team treated themselves to a nightly dip in the backyard pools.)

"Silvershot: How come you was able to walk on air, Lotus?"
"Lotus: All you need to work on Silvershot is focused training. Then you'll be able to walk on air like me."
"Silvershot: Lucky you.."
"Noah: You alright Konnor? How you holding up after today?"
"Konnor: Well, I'll be able to fight in the next round. Till then, the tournament's pushed back for another week. Thanks to Gaito!"
"Gaito: Hey! He tried to kill Okisaki, if I let her die, Sawano would not stop until he has me dead!"
"Noah: Yeah... right. But question."
"Gaito: Huh?"
"Noah: How did you get that.. much of lightning?"
"Gaito: Uhhh. I guess all that training paid off."
(Lotus was quietly sitting there which had Silvershot worried.)

"Silvershot: Lotus..?!"
"Lotus: I'm trying to deep meditate, no need to think my age will slow me down and make me pass on. You and the rest of the guild know this."
"Silvershot: You're right, forgive me Lotus."
"Lotus: No need to apologize, its a common reaction for most of us."
"Gaito: Lotus. How is the assassin's guild?"
"Lotus: Hm? Its still holding in there, we're just doing our normal daily things. Plus ever since the Onyx drugs has been destroyed, there's been no sign of monster activities."
"Gaito: Well, that's a good thing to know."
(Meanwhile on the girls side of the pool...)
"Onara: Wait wait! You mean to tell me you and Noah are official?"
"Velriot: Yeah.. after that kiss, we kind of talked about it through texting and... yeah."
"Onara: Aww, lucky you guys!"
(Azumi sat in the corner and watched everyone else have a good time.)

"Crystalline: Azumi?"
"Azumi: Ah! Y-yes?!"
"Crystalline: How come you're not having fun with us?"
"Azumi: I uh.. am shy..."
"Crystalline: Is that why you don't wanna take off the mask?"
"Azumi: No..! The mask has to stay on..! I don't want anyone to see my true face yet!!"
"Crystalline: Hey hey! Its ok, I understand. I don't want to force something you don't want on you. That's how I'd lose your trust."
"Azumi: Well... to be honest. When I met Velriot and Sawano, it was the difficult times for me."
"Crystalline: What's going on?"
"Azumi: Umm... Years ago, around the time the.. Order Of Encursed Elements was around..? I learned the truth about my own grandfather. In the Elemental Wars, he was killed."
"Crystalline: Oh- Oh no... I'm so sorry..!"
"Azumi: Its fine.. the killer was Kajioka Takeichi. Known to the demon race, he's the strongest demon in the underworld. But nowhere powerful to Hades' level. We all we heartbroken from his passing. But not me... when the time comes, I will find him, track him then finish him!"
"Crystalline: Wow. I guess we're in a way the same."
(She looked at Crystalline with a confused look behind her mask.)
"I'm fighting for my father. He's sick unfortunately."
"Azumi: Aw...! I'm sorry..!"
"Crystalline: Its fine, really..! We just have to keep our heads held high and achieve to our next goals! Otherwise, we'd be giving up after we came so far."
(Azumi smiled and thought about it but moved her hand away from her mask.)

"Azumi: You're right.. Thank you, Crystalline...!"
(They both smiled at one another as Crystalline then snuck to Velriot and groped her chest.)
"Velriot: HEY! W-WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"
"Crystalline: I don't get how you got bigger melons!"
"Velriot: EXCUSE ME..??"
"Crystalline: Sorry!"
"Velriot: I'LL KILL YOUU!!"
(Velriot and Crystalline splashed around as Onara sighed but found it funny as did the other girls. During so, the boys felt a bit uncomfortable overhearing everything.)
"Konnor: Seems like they're having fun over there."
"Gaito: Bleh.. thank goodness I'm not that person."
"Lotus: So Gaito. What's up with you and Isabel?"
(He spat out his drink at the ground and coughed.)
"SHUT UP..! THERE'S NOTHING GOING ON BETWEEN ME AND HER!"
"Lotus: I mean... I did some sneaking around and noticed you went to go see her almost hour of the day."
"Gaito: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT..?!"
"Lotus: So... this picture is a myth?"
(Gaito hardstared the photo of him and Isabel kissing and got up quickly to snatch it away.)

"Gaito: GIVE THAT TO ME!"
"Lotus: Konnor, think fast!"
(He threw the picture towards Konnor which had him smile and laugh then Gaito went towards him then Konnor threw the image to Noah and it cycle repeated. After so, Gaito finally got the image and smitten it to ashes.)
"Gaito: You're not to say a damn word. Got it.?"
"Silvershot: Lips are sealed!"
"Noah: I guess, whatever."
(As they all agreed not to say anything, Gaito felt a strange presence then looked into the sky.)
"Konnor: Gaito?"
"Gaito: Something tells me this tournament is going to have a massive overhaul once its finished and done with."
(Meanwhile in the Realm Of Light, chaos was everywhere as multiple negative eighteen star demons raided the realm and attacked the Gods and Goddesses. Aenta looked around in fear and tried to find Lyssa.)
"Aenta: LYSSA..?? LYSSA..?! WHERE ARE YOU..?"
(She raced around the burning homes and stopped in shock as tears filled up her eyes and saw Lyssa skewered by six spears and quickly ran to her.)

"LYSSA!! OH MY- LYSSA...!!!"
(She was unresponsive as Aenta continued trying to wake her up.)
"No... NO..! This can't be happening...!"
"???: But it is."
(A stomp to the ground got Aenta's attention as she backed up in fear with tears rolling down her eyes in sorrow.)
"Aenta: WHY DID YOU DO THIS...?!"
"???: The time for talk is done. I'm doing this... for the sake of keeping my ROLE."
(Aenta quickly got up and ran but her leg was then instantly burnt to a crisp which made her trip and fall in pain, trying to hop and escape.)
"Why run? You're a close friend to my pawn and all who relates to him.. WILL DIE."
(A spear was plunged into her chest as she hopped away but fell back down and choked on blood and ended up coughing it out and lied there, taking her final breaths of life and looked at the figure standing above her.)
"Aenta. Before you die, I want you to know something. Remember the Elemental Wars? A familiar ally of yours was the cause all elements went to war."
(She gasped in knowing who it was and had a disbelief look on her face.)

"Aenta: NO..! THAT C-AN'T.. BE TRUE..! HE NEVER COULD'VE BEEN THE-"
(He roared and impaled the spear inside her wound even deeper, silencing her and her hand dropped to the ground motionlessly. The masked attacker removed his mask then the demons regrouped to bow before him.)
"My demons..."
(He turned around to them all as they kneeled before Hades.)
"Hades: We shall wait. The contract is not yet fulfilled until I'm given MY end of the bargain!"
(Back at the hotel.)
"Gaito: So what now?"
"Lotus: Not sure, I might call it a night."
"Gaito: Ah, what about you guys?"
"Konnor: I cannot use my weapons but I can cycle through my list and see what I have. So I might train more tonight."
"Silvershot: Same here, training."
"Gaito: Nice what about you Noah- Wait.. where is Noah?"
(Noah sat atop a palm tree and tried to strike at Gaito.)

"Noah: THINK FAST, GAITO!"
(Gaito slapped him from mid-air past the wooden wall then accidentally went over the women's side and caught a peek of Velriot which shocked the rest of the girls.)
"Girls: YOU PERVERT!!"
"Noah: IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!"
(Punching blows was heard as Gaito and the others was switching out of their swimwear and Noah slammed the door behind him with his hair coated in shampoo and a few bruises on his face and smelt cooked by Okisaki's flames.)
"GAITO, WHAT THE F**K?!?!"
"Gaito: You told me to think fast, I thought fast."
"Noah: BUT YOU SENT ME INTO THE GIRL'S SIDE OF THE POOL! NOW THEY'RE GONNA THINK I'M A PERVERT FOREVER!"
"Gaito: Calm down man, that's your fault for trying to attack me."
"Noah: NO. NO! F**K YOU MAN! JUST F**K YOU!"
(The towel was thrown at Gaito's face which made him get up in an irritated state.)

"Gaito: You want a round two of me beating your ass?"
"Noah: I'd like to see you try!"
(The girls was all silent after what happened earlier and was too embarrassed to speak.)
"Okisaki(Thinking): He saw me.. that.. perverted asshole saw me..."
"Velriot: What was I thinking of liking him that much..?"
"Crystalline: Its.. not your fault here..!"
"Onara: Yeah, its not-"
(A crash was heard outside which Gaito and Noah engaged in a fist fight outside the changing rooms and came the boys and hotel staff backing them up. The girls quickly finished changing to see Gaito with a few scratches and Noah with a nosebleed.)
"Gaito: BRING IT ON, WHY YOU HOLDING BACK BITCH?!"
"Noah: NAH, YOU THINK YOU'RE SO GODDAMN GOOD JUST BECAUSE LIGHTNING IS YOUR POWER? WELL F**K THAT!"
"Gaito: AS IF YOUR ICE COULD DO SHIT!"
"Noah: I'D ICE YOUR ASS TO A FROZEN POPSICLE!"
(Flames roared between them all as the commotion stopped which was Sawano stepping between them and surprised everyone else.)

"Sawano: It is two. In the fricking. Morning and I have to wake up to this..?"
"Noah: Sawano! Tell this asshole that-"
(Sawano backhanded both Gaito and Noah in the face with his hand engulfed in fire as he looked at them in disappointment.)
"Sawano: This is disgusting behavior... You two are on the same goddamn team and you fight over something Gaito accidentally did? Noah. YOU climbed that palm tree and challenged him to test his reaction speed. But you could've stopped yourself in time. Gaito, you may be older than me but you DAMN WELL KNOW BETTER! Quit acting like a damned child and focus on the reason why you accepted the role as a team leader."
(Gaito said nothing as the others was confused.)
"Onara: So wait, how old is Gaito really? Is he like twenty seven?"
"Sawano: Actually, Gaito here is thirty eight years old."
(The others was in complete surprise.)
"Everyone: BUT HE LOOKS EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD!!!"
"Sawano: The point is, you all need to work together as a team if we're going to win this tournament. What happens tonight, is never to be mentioned again. Alright guys?"
(They all nodded in agreement.)

"Noah: Sorry."
"Gaito: I guess apology accepted."
"Sawano: Guys, make sure you rest well. We've been kicking ass this entire tournament and we can't stop now! You guys are verses Germany in the next three days."
(They all smiled at one another and looked at Sawano.)
"Gaito: I'll make sure we all train hard!"
(Freedom Knight was leaning on the wall then walked away.)
"Freedom Knight: Train hard...? You can try all you want, Japan. But at the end of the day, the United States shall reign supreme in this whole tournament! We meet at the finals... Gaito!"
