Chapter 52: Gaito Steps Down?!

(After the fights was over for now, the wounded fighters was in separate treating areas as Kazuya was then in a hospital bed once again after recoiling badly from the absolute power from both Ember Mist and the Divine God transformation.)

-After Gaito returned to Earth-

"Gaito: DAMN IT KAZUYA!!!!!!!"
"Kazuya: WHAT!?!?"
"Gaito: Ugh... I'm proud that you've finally reached that amount of power. But you do realize its unmastered right?"
"Kazuya: Yeah... but what do you mean?"
"Gaito: In about fifteen seconds from now, you're about to suffer a terrible recoil."
"Kazuya: Pssshhh! This is nothing, I've handled worse pain Gaito. But I'm just glad that we finally put those two to death-"
(He then yelled in completely pain as his bones was severely aching and breaking apart then blood started rushing out from every part of his body. Gaito facepalming himself with disappointment. Kazuya then fell to the ground in a massive pool of blood.)

-Now-

"Kazuya: Ha... totally worth it.."
(A knock was heard on his door as he welcomed them in. Hinami and Shibuto walked in, Hinami leaned on the wall with a relaxed smile as Shibuto was speechless with a neutral expression on his face as they both approached Kazuya.)
"Hey guys..."
"Hinami: We heard about the fights... And... we want to apologize Kazuya."
"Shibuto: She's right, we just feared that you would've never been able to master the abilities of your elemental power or unlock it actually."
"Kazuya: Well... I... proved.. you two wrong..!! I actually kicked their asses..!!"
"Hinami: You really did.. I'm proud of you Kazuya..!"
(Kazuya then paused for a moment and saw Hinami's tear-clouded face.)
"Hinami: Even though... we was on the brink of death and we couldn't defeat them... you stood up to the threats and tackled it head on.. Kazuya, how did we get so lucky to meet a reckless idiot like you?!?"
(Hinami leaped to Kazuya and sobbed with joy but worry.)

"Please... don't scare me like that again... I thought you was really going to die..."
"Shibuto: I assumed the same thing and I agree with her.. Please don't scare us like that Kazuya."
"Kazuya: You guys..."
(Kazuya brought Shibuto in for a group hug as the three of them smiled after being reunited.)
"Gaito: Knock knock, ya reckless kids."
"Kazuya: Gaito!"
(Gaito walked in the room but noticed a change about him.)
"Hey Gaito, is that your sheath?"
"Gaito: Oh this? Yeah, its actually Venomshank. I was holding it for you until you was better."
"Kazuya: I see... I appreciate it. And... I'm sorry for yelling at you constantly Gaito.. I just wanted to get stronger so I can protect these two. We might not be related by blood, but I love them as a family no matter what!"
"Gaito: That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about."
"All: Huh?"
"Gaito: Xiazress was your adopted mother, your adopted father however... is still not found. Knowing that she died, before her death she entrusted me to take you in as my own son and your godfather. So to put it in short, you and Shibuto are brothers now."
(They was frozen with what was said and they was all shocked.)
"All: WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!??!?!?!??!?!?"
"Kazuya: NO WAY! SHIBUTO'S MY YOUNGER BROTHER NOW?!"
"Shibuto: What in- How did-"
(Shibuto then sighed without a word to say.)
"Kazuya: Haha! You're my younger brother now!"
"Hinami: Congrats you two!"
(Gaito smiled as he thought about what Yorito said before his death.)

-One month ago-

"Yorito: That boy... Kazuya Atharu... is going to become stronger than every God in existence!"

-Present-

(Gaito then crossed his arms and pondered about it deeply. Meanwhile in Tokyo, underneath the city lies a massive laboratory which is ran and controlled by the Japanese government. Two scientists was speaking as they was walking down to the forbidden sectors of the labs.)

"Scientist #1: So these is the forbidden lairs. The government captures one of the most deadliest, unhuman and most evilest of all monsters. But the most deadliest is beyond these walls, rumor has it that he possessed a Deity before."
"Scientist #2: So how deadly is he? Like 'slaughtering a city' deadly?"
"Scientist #1: WORSE! According to his records, this bastard was responsible for unspeakable and countless deaths!
"Scientist #2: Oh come on..! I don't believe that!"
"Scientist #1: How else do you explain the archive of records?!
"Scientist #2: Just illusions of made up stories."
(He'd sigh and open the blinds, the demon-like humanoid appears frozen solid in a container.)
"Scientist #1: This is 'The Kage, Cerrzar.' There's a reason why he is called a "Kage." But we do not have the rights to speak of said reason."
"Scientist #2: I see.."
(They walked by as Cerrzar was continuing to stand in the container, frozen solid. Meanwhile in the mountains, Kirby and Radella was training the Unholy Temple's disciples.)

"Kirby: That's all for now! We shall not dismiss until you've all shown us how strong your elemental power has gotten."
"Disciples: YES, SIR!"
(Every disciple yelled as they all generated a small yet strong amount of Inferno in their hands which then formed into a sphere and they all shot it above them into the skies which blasts a hole past the clouds. Kirby and Radella was pleased and looked at each other then them.)
"Both: Dismissed."
"Radella: Come back tomorrow!"
(They all bowed to them as everyone left the dojo's training hall and Kirby and Radella went back inside the dojo and teleported to the empty tournament battlegrounds to see the Magachi family even Sawano training with him.)
"Okisaki: Unholy.... Burst!!!"
(Okisaki rocketed at Sawano and he started blasted chains at her in which Okisaki managed to learn and dodged every last one which Sawano dodged the punch and went on the defensive against Ankoku.)

"Sawano: Not bad! You guys still have the strength!"
"Ankoku: Glad to know you still can fight!"
(Sawano and Ankoku continued fighting hand to hand as Okisaki then joined in and Sawano then avoided their attacks using one hand each. They both separated and fired continuous amounts of inferno balls which Sawano continued to dodge and throw some back. Okisaki and Ankoku both dispelled their attacks and performed the same stance.)
"Sawano: Heh! I'm familiar with this move!"
(Sawano did the same stance which all three of them charged their hands with their flames.)
"HELL'S..."
"Ankoku: INFERNO..."
"All: FIST!"
(Ankoku and Okisaki rocketed at Sawano as he did the same to them and in a split second, a massive explosion bursts across the empty arena. The three of them lied down, tired out and Sawano started to chuckle with a smile. Ankoku and Okisaki did the same and the three of them laughed after the fight.)
"Kirby: Its a blessing to see the family back together."
"Fuchibuto: It sure is Kirby. It sure is."
(Back in Hakodate, Gaito felt Sawano's elemental energy from the hospital which he smiled. He then walked to the bathroom and slapped water on his face and looked in the mirror.)

"Gaito: Look at myself... I'm freaking out over what..?"
(A familiar figure from the past appeared in the mirror in front of Gaito.)
"???: You're freaking out over these new strong opponents."
(Gaito looked at the mirror to see Kenta return after years of silence.)
"Gaito: What are you talking about?"
"Kenta: I'm in your soul remember? When I died from that accident, I was merged with your soul so I know everything that's been going on."
"Gaito: Its Kazuya damn it... That reckless dumbass has been on my mind lately and I'm just worried that he won't be able to handle these threats... He nearly got killed by Yorito and those Divine Gods!"
(Kenta reached his hand for Gaito but touched the end of the mirror.)

"Kenta: It's going to be fine brother, don't worry."
"Gaito: Thanks. Also, I got something for you, Kenta."

"Kenta: What's that?"
(Gaito snapped his fingers and with a flash of light, Kenta's own soul was separated from Gaito's and Kenta then opened his eyes to see he's in a new body after years.)

"G-Gaito...!"
"Gaito: Congratulations, you're alive once again brother."
(Kenta smiled as he checked out his new body. A while later, Gaito returned to Olympus and called Choryrth and his wife into the main throne room.)
"Choryrth: What's the issue Gaito?"
"Isabel: What's wrong darling?"
"Gaito: I've gave it some thought and unfortunately... I've looked into the future once again. We're in a forbidden timeline."
"Choryrth: A forbidden timeline?"
"Gaito: Amber, Yorito, Avius, Ziohr. Those four came from the future and claimed Kazuya was going to become an unstoppable person. I've checked every timeline with the help of Goxius and that didn't exist. I had no choice but to look into the file Zeus left behind."
"Choryrth: You went into the forbidden file?!"
"Gaito: They didn't have the balls, I did. It turns out, something big is going to form and its going to push me down to resigning so... Choryrth. As of this moment on, I hereby honor you the throne and Omnipotence."
(Isabel and Choryrth was surprised at the news and he tried to talk Gaito out of it.)

"Choryrth: But Gaito.. sir! You do realize what you're giving me right?!"
"Gaito: Yes. To save the future, we must balance the present."
"Choryrth: But... where will you go...?"
"Gaito: I don't know, I don't care, I have to do this. I won't explain why due to time violations."
"Choryrth: I understand..."
(Gaito walked down from the throne as he then rests his hand on Choryrth and transferred both Zeus's powers and Omnipotence to Choryrth, lightning once again surging through him and acts as his aura. Gaito then backed up as he then witnessed Choryrth's increased strength in everything absolute.)
"Gaito: Good luck, thank you for your service."
"Choryrth: Be safe... King Gaito."

(He chuckled and began to leave as Isabel followed him and Choryrth then looked up at the throne. Meanwhile, every God in Olympus was told about the resigning of Gaito as Choryrth was their new King of Gods and once again The True Dragon King of Lightning. Gaito then packed his things and Isabel did the same, Gaito's face covered by a dark shade of anger which Isabel was worried for him. Gaito then created a portal to Earth using the last bit of his elemental power, he and Isabel walked through it which they both returned and Gaito then saw the lightning die out on his fingers which he then said nothing and they both walked towards the forest, away from Japan and civilization.)
