Chapter 21


Light asks her :"So why are you going that way?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Because there must be a gate that have heaven on the other side of that gate."

Light replies to her :"No, there is no gate like that have heaven on the other side"

Natsumi asks him:"Then how can I go to heaven?"

Light after hearing her questions he puts his hands on his hips and starts laughing. Natsumi didn't understand why he was laughing.

Natsumi [Did I said something funny? No, no, no that can't be possible. Then why is he laughing?]

Light stops laughing. He looks at the sky and asks her :"Who do you think you are talking to?"

Natsumi replies to his questions :"I think you are a ido... No no. I mean you are the greatest and the supreme being in the world." 

Natsumi [I hope he didn't figure out what I was about to say. Or else who knows what he will do. He might even won't let me go to heaven. After all my choice of going to heaven is just a wish from a lowly creation to him. Also I don't know how to go to heaven] gulps

Light replies to her :"You are right. It's me. Light!!"

Natsumi [Here we go again]

Light points his finger towards his face and replies to her :"The greatest being and the supreme being and only I can open the gate to the heaven." He starts laughing again after replying this to her.

Natsumi asks him :"Can you just make me teleports or do something so I can go to the heaven right now? Cause I am kinda tired of standing"

Light stops laughing and looks at her with an unamused expression and replies to her :"Ok I am opening the gate. At least let me laugh my fill. I won't mess around anymore so don't worry."

Natsumi asks him :"Opens the gate? But you said there is no gate to heaven in here. How are you gonna open a gate if there is no gate?"

Light replies to her questions :"I am gonna summons the door. So move back a little bit."

Natsumi replies to him :"Ok"

After agreeing that she moves back a little bit. Light takes few steps forwards. He put up his hand Forward and open his hand and makes his hand's palm go forward

Light said this :"Öffne mir jetzt das Himmelstor"

Nothing happened. The place looked the same as before. Nothin changed

Natsumi [What did he do? Nothing happened at all?]

Suddenly a great breeze of wind comes from him. With the breeze of wind dust also arrives with it. It wasn't just a breeze of wind. It was like a mini tornado coming towards her. She closes her eyes immediately to not to make any dust to fall in her eyes. She tries to protect herself by putting both of her hand forward and moving forward but the wind current was so strong that she couldn't take one single step forward. That wind was able to push Natsumi a couple of feet behind even though she was trying her best to stand still. Afterwards that breeze of wind disappeared. She opens her eyes slowly. She couldn't believe what she saw but she was really seeing it. It was undoubtedly reality that she was seeing. She saw the heaven's gate. This gate was bigger than all of the gate she saw. It was so big that it made the other gate look like boulder compare to a mountain. She couldn't even see the entire gate because it was that long. She couldn't see what was above the gate because of it. The gate design more like the body of the gate was contained picture of the people she cherished most and the people that cherished her the most. Her family, her friends, her part time job's senior, her teacher, her crush, her best friend and the manager. They were all smiling in the pictures. The gate's body also contains something like a projector screen in the middle. A video was running on it. The video content was the greatest moment and memory of her life. The scenery of sakura tree, school farewell, the time with her parents on Iceland, the time she beat her best friend on a game, getting the best student award, getting her first paycheck, buying her favorite accessories, her 16th birthday and all the other best memories. She watched all of them coming one after another. It also had the places and things she wanted to do when she was alive. At the very bottom of the gate there was a sentence.

The sentences was this :"Thank you for living with us, giving us all the great memories and moment together even though it took some of your precious little life time. Even though you leaving us suddenly was totally unexpected and very painful to us. We were all sorrowful and sad hearing that news. We cried. Mourned for your death. We might still cry even after a month or years for this incident. It's just a normal thing that occurs everyday. We all have to move on. We have to grow up and fulfill what you were unable to do. We all have learned something from this and we will try our best to make our life go back to normal even without you. Though it maybe full of hardships and pain. Thank you so much for giving us this memories. We will never forget about you Natsumi" said by your best friend, Kona on your funeral
She reads that sentence. She was unable to control herself. She falls down on her knees starts crying. She realizes she isn't only person who is shocked, sad and angry by what happened to her but many other people were also sad about her sudden death. It may leave a deep scar on their life from now on and it made her even sad and sorrowful.

Light looks at her and said this :"I don't know what you are seeing. Only the people who died can see this. But I can tell you that you lived a happy life. Though you may did some bad deed. You did more good than your bad. Everyone was happy with you having around them. Your friend was crying while saying this."

Natsumi tries to stop crying the tears that are coming out from her eyes with her. Though she was unable to make it stop. Tears after tears still comes out from her eyes

Natsumi replies to him while crying with sorrowful eyes :"How can you understand something like this (sniffs) Aren't you happy by making us sad?! Didn't you wanted to make us sad? (sniffs) Just make us all sad!! That's what you wanted right?!! Even some people can't even be reborn properly in other world!!! And there are this people who are sad losing their loved one!!! You are just an selfish bastard!!!"

Natsumi starts crying again. Light goes closed to her and hold her, hug her. Natsumi got surprised by this action of his. Natsumi also stops her crying for a moment.

Light replies to her :"It's just the way you human's wanted. But everything I say now might be just some selfishness or excuse to you but let me just tell you this much. If you want to cry then just cry. There is no reason to hold your cry, it only make more sadness and sorrow in the future also don't use words like those. It doesn't fit a woman like you."

She starts crying again holding him. She mourned in sadness and cries for all the sadness, despair and sorrow she got after leaving the living world and thinking about how much it made the people she cherished sad. She cries for more than 10 minutes. She cries so much that her skins got swelling around her eyes and she also got a runny nose. She also got a bit of a headache. After crying she stands up on her foot. Light tries to help her but she stands on her own.
Natsumi replies to him :"Because of you, I cried so much that it made my skin swelling around my eyes and giving me a headache." She sniffs once more again.

Light replies to her :"That's good to hear"

Natsumi replies to him :"I am never gonna forgive you."

Light replies to her :"Oh, that is not good to hear."

She asks him :"Why did you make the gate like that? Do you really like to see me crying?"

Light answers to her questions :"It's not my fault. The gate of heaven looks different to every person who saw it. I didn't wanted to make you cry in purpose"

Natsumi punches him on the back and said this :"You liar"

Light replies to her :"I didn't lie"

He goes forward and opens the gate of heaven and continues :"Just enter the gate. I will go after you go"

Natsumi [Thank you mother and father for giving birth to me. I don't have any regrets in living with mom and dad as my parents. I am gonna enter the gate of heaven now mom, dad. If you can hear me or see me I would be really happy I will be on the other side of this gate. Mom, dad, Kona, everyone don't be sad for me I will be more happier than ever in heaven. It seems like you said the truth Kona. I really am a person who will enter the gate of heaven. Just pray for me so I can live a great new life in the Afterlife. Farewell Everyone.]

After she thought that to herself she enters the gate. He also follows her from behind.
