Her choice

Chapter 20


A sudden curiosity of the person he was talking about appears in Natsumi's mind.

She asks him :"Who is this guy?"

Light replies to her :"What?"

He didn't hear what she said. She replies to him :"I mean who is the guy you were talking about?"

Light takes a deep breath and replies to her :"Oh my God!! Oh I am the God." 

He Laughs for a bit of time after saying that.

Natsumi [Was that supposed to be a joke?]

Light continues :"Kongzi or Confucius. Didn't you heard of him?"

Natsumi shake her head around to mean that she didn't knew about that guy. She also replies to him :"No I didn't heard of him. This is the first time."

Light was a bit of disappointed by her reply. He wanted to say all of it again but he realizes that it would be a huge hassle.

 He replies to her :"Use Wikipedia in your phone"

Natsumi founds out that the Internet works here when she was using her phone. So she did exactly what he said.

She replies to him :"There is no such thing as what you just said. I just found some porn actor and a dog. Is this Wikipedia broken or is this the Wikipedia of another world."

Light smacks his head with his hands and replies to her with a tired face :"Well you know, I don't care anymore."

Natsumi [Fine by me. I wasn't that much interested on it either way]

Light reads her mind and it made him sad. He falls down on his knees on the ground. Natsumi was startled about how he suddenly falls down on his knees.

 She asks him :"What happened?"

Light replies to her sitting in the ground with depressing voice :"I see. The people I think greatly are not interesting. I see"

Light starts crying suddenly and continues :"Even though you were the one who wanted to know it." 
He sniffles twice and starts crying again. Natsumi gets angry because of the stupid reason and she didn't even wanted to know about that person in the first place.

She replies to him :"I didn't want to know about that guy! You are the one who started to talk about him!"

Light again starts crying. But this time he starts crying louder than before. His cries goes louder every second he cries

Natsumi yell to him :"WHY ARE YOU CRYING LIKE A CHILD?!!!"

He didn't stop his cries. But ad time went by it starts to go louder. Natsumi gets more angrier than before.

Natsumi yells at him :"STOP CRYING!!!!"

He is still not stopping his cries. Natsumi puts her hand in both of her ears to cover her ears cause it became so much louder. She closes her eyes while trying to think of something that will stop his cries.

Natsumi looks at him [What can I do? What can I do? My ears gonna burst at this rate. I have to do something. I can do that but]

Light stops crying. Natsumi puts her hands done from her ears but he looks at her and smirks.

Natsumi [Why are you smirking at me?]

Light starts screaming loudly.

Natsumi again covers her ears.

Natsumi [ I guess there is no other way]

Natsumi yells at him :"OKAY I AM SORRY!! YOUR TOPIC IS INTERESTING!! AND HE IS A REALLY GREAT GUY!!! JUST STOP SHOUTING!!!"

Light stops shouting. Natsumi put her hands down from her ears. He stands up and starts walking again

Light replies to her while walking :"If you decide on which world and gate you want to enter then just think about me and I will arrive in just moment."

Natsumi asks him :"Why are you leaving now?"

Light looks back at her and asks her :"Why shouldn't I?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Because I couldn't punch you in the face. (Takes a deep breath) Why did you do this? Aren't you the supreme and the greatest being the God? Why you were crying like a baby then??!!"

Light sighs and replies to her with a serious voice :"Don't provoke me kid. You know that I am the God. I just did that because I thought it was funny to mess around with you. I wasn't being able to laugh or mess around with someone for a long time." He again sighs in a depressing tune

Natsumi [Wait a minute. God is supposed to be the supreme and the greatest being but maybe because of that he always stay alone. Nobody talks to him. Maybe his servants do all the work that's why he is feeling sad. Does even god gets bored or sad? Does that mean he is lonely!? I shouldn't have behave badly to him, after all he is the one who created us.]

Natsumi replies to him :"Umm.. I am--."

Light sighs one more time and looks at the sky. Light replies to her :"It's been five minutes since I have been talking with somebody or messing with them."

Natsumi gets angry because of this and rushed forward to punch him but he suddenly disappears. He wasn't in front of her anymore. Natsumi couldn't hit him and falls down. She got on her feet and suddenly at that time Light touch her shoulder behind her back.

Light replies to her with serious voice voice :"I am God. Do you think you can punch me everytime you want. If you didn't decide yet on which world you wanna go then I am going"

After that he starts walking again.

Natsumi replies to her with a angry tune :"Do you think I can decide when there is no guarantee of me getting there?!"

Light replies to her while walking towards one of the gates :"Yes that's right. So what do you intend to do?"

Natsumi replies to him :"I don't want to go to any other worlds. So I won't enter any of the gates."

Natsumi [After all I don't know what will happen to me if I enter one of the gates and never went to the other side of the gate in the right time]

Light replies to her :"I thought you would gamble your chances to get to the other side of the gate and live in that world"

Natsumi asks him :"Just how much of a possibility there is that I can to go the other world safely?"

Light stops walking and replies  to her :"About thirty percent."

Natsumi replies to him :"Then it's not worth the gamble. It's not even fifty percent"

Light asks her :"I see. So are you gonna stand there forever?"

Natsumi gets a bit angry by his reply and replies to him :"Do you think I am gonna stand here that forever!!?!"

Light sits down on the ground and asks her :"So what are you gonna do?"

Natsumi replies to him :"You have told me about one of the greatest person in the world."

Light was surprised by her reply and he replies to her :"So you were actually listening to me even though you weren't that much interested"

Natsumi replies to him :"Even if I am not that much interested, I at least, listened to what you were saying. After all I am the one who asked you about something that was related to this."

She looked forwards but she couldn't see him. As if he vanished again like earlier.

Light pats her heads behind her and replies to her :"You were a good girl after all. Sorry for behaving this badly to you"

Natsumi was startled and moves a bit away from him. She was creeped out and looks at him. 

She replied to him :"Don't pat my head suddenly! It's kinda creepy"

Light apologies to her with a smile on his face :"I am sorry"

Natsumi replies to him :"You didn't had to apologize for that. Also the thing I wanted to ask was what that person wished for?"

Light asks her :"Why are you asking me this?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Nothing. I was just curious"

Light stares at the sky while replying to her :"I see. He wished for every person who died or will die, to go to heaven if they didn't wishes to reborn"

Natsumi starts walking.

Light asks her :"Where are you going?"

Natsumi looks back towards him and replies to her :"I am the one who should ask you, why are you standing there?"

Light got confused and asks her :"What do you mean?"

Natsumi replies to him :"Aren't you supposed to be a God? Shouldn't you know? I decided to go to heaven and not to get reborn in another world"
