Chapter 3:

Chapter 3: Secondary Conflicts

Butterflies' Corner!

"You are so unfunny it gets on my nerves!""And you're so hot it makes me want to sleep with you, YOU BEAUTIFUL!"Aria laughed again.
"But it's better not, right? The patient might not like it."Aria changed her face, went from cheerful to serious in seconds, she knew Fuyuki would fight again. It was said and done. Fuyuki glares at her with one of his menacing and even quite routine looks when she tries to usurp her kiss.
"I love you too my love."
She snapped at Keiko as she slipped out, closing the apartment door.
"I will, but I'll be back, okay?"Fuyuki rolled his eyes.
"YOUR YUMMY!"Fuyuki ran his hand over his foot and tossed the slipper towards her, but she slammed the door and ran away.
"I hate your friend, see?"
"What's wrong with you guys?"Aria asked as she got up.
"Like this?"
"Why can't they live in peace?"She complained as she went to the kitchen.
Aria leaves the beer cans in the fridge and overturns a bottle of water, down its throat. Fuyuki runs a hand over his face in embarrassment.
"You were supposed to be the girl for both of us.""And you're a little less boring."She countered. As you've noticed, the apartment is small, it's true, but it's cozy. Our usual discussion, which has already become too monotonous, took place again in the middle of the night on a Wednesday of football and Flamengo's game, before Thursday, the day of the visit.
"Is that you?"Complained Aria opening a can of beer.
"Me what?"She questioned Fuyuki opening the thermos.
"Do you even live?"She countered between sips of beer and another.
Annoyed Fuyuki knocks with the cup she was holding at the sink.
"What about you? You can tell I lived, just because you're having a beer at 3 am!""What about you? Having breakfast at 3 am!"
Aria's fiery gazes collide with Fuyuki's frostbite. If I could describe the mood of the apocalypse, I would most certainly describe it as those routine fights between them. Not even the Archangel Michael and the Fallen Angel Lucifer would have a fight as intense as these two brothers.
"You could be more responsible, it doesn't even look like you have an important job at an office desk tomorrow morning."Aria crossed her arms.
"By the way, today, right?"Completed Fuyuki looking at the clock.
"I'm single, I do what I want in life. You are too and could do the same, enjoy!"
"I'm not single!"She screamed.
Aria sits down on the couch and glares at him with that glare of hers.
"How long will you continue to repeat this?"Fuyuki looked away.
"How long will you love someone destined to forget you?"He completed it.
"That's none of your business, mind your own business.""Then take care of yours too and leave me alone."
A long climate lingered in the apartment. Aria was hard, dry and pessimistic. Fuyuki was enthusiastic about life, but somewhat melancholy. The two of them remained quiet and immobile in their corners, drinking beer and coffee, until the wind and torrential rain fell and broke the silence.
"Was Keiko driving?"
"No, we were from Uber."His sister replied.
"At this hour? Do you have shit in your head?"
"What the fuck!"
