New visitors (Part 2)

As Renzir was on her way to pick up the Queen of Nightmares. Knight of death bring torso of spider-like man into the Throne room.

"Seem like he underestimated his oponent. Good work my Knight!"

"Urghhh..." the Knight of death bowed deeply.

"Now stand next to us. And you torso, what is your purpose for coming here?"

"Y-you! Are you demon lord Zaru?"

"I'm the one giving question." I said while releasing my demonic aura.

In that very moment doors opened and Renzir returned with the Lady of demons, Arana the Arachne.

"Please Demon lord Zaru, forgive my stupid subordinate! He acted without my permision and... YOU?!"

"Long time no see Ari."

"Don't you dare call me that you cheater!"

"W-what is this about master Zaru?"

"I told you we ran into each other in Mutasa kingdom right? You see that kingdom is the place I came from. As well as Ari did."

"I said to stop calling me that!"

"Back then she had only a handful of subordinates, and one of them the Demon sword Kuroma run rampage through the kingdom. I was the one who stopped him. Well Ari helped me with it, but that was never made public."

"And since then I wanted him to join me, yet he refused me. Me! A queen!"

"What do you take me for? You maybe are a queen, but you act like a spoiled brat."

"Take that back you dummy!"

"Haha! I see! You are like siblings!"

"Take that back teach!"

The one who said those words were not just me. But Ari as well.

"What?"

"You are her student?"

"Same question."

"Yeah. I did teach you thread control before you became a demon lord if I recall it correctly."

"Wait that would mean..."

"What Zaru-dear?" dark lighting apeared behind Hestia. I stepped on a landmine.

"That you are amaizing teach!"

Can't say that it makes her older than tenth generation demon lord... that would result in training session. And I don't want that to happen.

"So what do you want here spider-boy?"

"I wanted my master to grow even stronger! After all she is undeafeted demon lord!"

"If you listened idiot you would know that I lost to this guy before he become a demon lord! That being said, when did you became a demon lord?"

"Around last week."

"But new generation should came in two hundread years!"

That was correct. Because demon lords are practically immortal and wiewed as evil there is a rule that makes demon lords allowed to only appear once in five hundread years. And their numbers are also limited, only about ten appears in every generation and more than half are killed in first six years.

There is also one demon lord with title of Ancient demon king. The only demon lord from first generation. The absolutely strongest demon lord. Well he isn't on this continent so I will not meet him any time soon.

"There was an incident you can say."

"But still you to be a demon lord of all things... Okay, what if we made a deal?"

"No thanks. It would be painful like last time."

"But you do remember *that one* don't you?"

"You wouldn't!"

"Well I am a demon lord, so I definitely would."

"So what do you want?"

"Nothing much. Just a place for a retirement."

"What? Retirement? You want to retire?"

"Can you blame me? I lived far too long for a spider. And I think that I'm getting weaker in recent years. After all you was able to defeat me before becoming a demon lord."

"I just resisted your charm magic you know?"

"You most definitely spit in my face back then."

"It wasn't personal you know? I just like diferent type of woman."

"Oh is that so?" Ari smiled and vanished in white smoke before reapearing without her lower spider body. Now she looked like a young woman. Yet something was off.

"Hm, this is definitely nice, but you can't keep this form for long can you?"

"UUU... you saw through it! Damn it!" Arana said as she turned back. I checked her status with Identify. She had a curse on her.
