Planet Agri　Episode 7. "Planet Agri"

The spacecraft was approaching the planet Agri.

"Hey, look at that!"

Tara shouted, pointing out the window. A gray creature that looked like a giant octopus had attached itself to the high-energy field that covered Agri's atmosphere, and was spewing mucus from its mouth in an attempt to puncture the high-energy field. The field was buzzing with sparks.

"What is that?"

Ginrei stuck to the window.

'It's the negative energy of the demon world, trying to blow a hole in the field."

Glynn replied in a calm voice.

"What are we going to do?"

"Of course, we go out!"

"Where's Musashi?"

"No Musashi this time."

That's when Glynn said it. The octopus swarm split into two, and one of them rushed towards the spaceship. One of the spaceships split off and headed for the field. The ship with Ginrei and the others and the other two ships fired their main guns. The green flames from the guns hit the octopus swarm with tremendous force. The octopuses that were burned by the flames shrunk like slugs that had been doused with salt.

"So they're weak against fire?"

"Yes."

"That's what the old man in the downtown area said. ......"

As the octopus shrank, it spat out countless small octopuses from its mouth. A group of octopuses attached themselves to the hull of the boat. The octopus was trying to dissolve the hull with its mucus.

"Okay, let's kill the little octopuses. Grab your weapons and get out of the rear hatch with the space kite!"

"See you later, Musashi. I'm off!"

Everyone followed Glynn into the armory. Toni was on standby. Glynn took a large flamethrower, Tara a huge hammer, and Ginrei a sword and headed for the rear hatch. In front of the hatch was a row of triangular space kites.

"How do you use these?"

Ginrei was puzzled by the space kite, which she had never seen before.

"You can put your feet on this belt ...... and see the pedals on the side?　　The right one is the gas pedal, the left one is the brake, and you have to shift your weight to turn. You have to learn how to fly with your body."

"I get it. But we're going into space, aren't we?　　Are you sure you want to do this?　　Don't I need a space suit or something?"

"This is the astral universe. It's a different physical dimension. Our bodies are also astral bodies. We don't need spacesuits."

Glynn explained and jumped out of the open hatch.

"Ginrei, go ahead!"

Tara called from behind.

"All right. Let's go!"

Ginrei pressed the right pedal. The nozzle on the back of the kite blew out a jet and Ginrei flew out into space with the kite.

Ginrei panicked as he suddenly found herself in open space. Because she had pedaled too hard, she had gone too straight and separated from the hull. As Ginrei panicked, the evil thoughts of the demon world attacked her. Ginrei shook her head as she suddenly felt like her head was in a mess. She managed to regain her senses and turned right, leaning her body to the right, and saw the side of the ship. A few small octopuses were attached to it. Glynn, who had gone out first, had positioned himself right above the hull and was using his flamethrower to spray the octopuses with green flame. It was as if he was trying to kill cockroaches. Ginrei slipped through the side of the hull and sliced through the octopus with her sword.

"You're good!"

Tara exclaimed.

"That's good for your first time. Keep up the good work."

Glynn encouraged her. In less than ten minutes, the small octopus was mostly gone. I looked at the other spaceship and saw that it was also finished.

Some of the octopi that had been attached to the field, realizing that the octopus had been killed, came towards the spaceship. Grynn and Tara dodged the octopus, but Ginrei was too late to react. The octopus' long tentacles hit Ginrei.

"Ginrei!"

Ginrei flew to the next ship and slammed her body into the hull. The ship's crew hurried to recover Ginrei.

"Is she okay?"

Tara looked at Glynn with a concerned look.

"I don't know, ......."

The ships all fired their main guns at the octopus at once, and the octopus was eradicated. The only ones left are the ones that are still in the field. At last, a small hole opened in the field. The negative mental waves of the demon world flowed into Aguri.

"This is bad!　　We've got to kill them all!"

Glynn said, and returned to the ship. Tara followed suit.

The two spaceships hurried to the spaceship that was fighting back against the octopus in the field. When the three ships fired all at once, the octopuses were annihilated. The hole that had opened up was returning to normal.

"Is Ginrei okay?"

Grynn said, and  sent telepathy to Ginrei. The reply came immediately.

"I'd say I'm fine ......, but I got hit in the side. According to the ship's doctor, your astral body is damaged."

"I see. ...... I'm just glad you're okay. Fortunately, Agri is an agricultural planet. and you can repair your astral body by coming down here and eating fresh vegetables."

"Yes. That's what the doctor told me. Even astral bodies can eat things, can't they?"

"Well, yeah. It's a little different from the physical one, though.It's purely an energy boost."

"We're going down to Agri now."

"Okay. I'll see you in Agri."

As soon as they had finished their reminder, the fleet began to descend to Agri. They landed at an airport built in the middle of a wide, open meadow. Beyond the grassland was another vast field. The sky was clear and blue, with white clouds floating in the sky. It was an idyllic scene.

"The doctor and I will just go, since it would be too much trouble for them to have so many people there."

Ginrei reminded Grynn of this, and took the light blue cab that had been prepared for her, heading for the administration center.
