Chapter 35
Natsumi thought to herself after hearing that from him [Why does he want to become a girl? Does he think everyone wants to become a girl like you?]
He didn't read her my mind this time.
He continues his reply to her :"Do you want me to turn into a woman by some chance?"
Natsumi asks him :"What made you come upon this answer?"
Light replies to her :"Because you don't like me in my current state, so I thought you might like me in my woman form."
Natsumi was standing while holding into the fence that was in the veranda with both of her hands. She hold it tightly.
She replies to him (Light) negatively with a unamused face :"No. It won't change that fact."
Light was disappointed after hearing that from her. He really wanted to turn into a woman in front of her and made her shower him with praises.
He asks her :"So what you want to do now?"
She asks him :"Before I tell you what I want to do, I want to ask you some questions."
Light replies to her with a long nose in his face :"You can ask me whatever you want to ask from me."
After he that said that, he thought to himself [After I will answer your question don't forget to praise me.]
Natsumi looks at Ban once. She saw that he is sleeping. She asks him :"Why can't Ban find or search the people who got lost inside of a gate? What's the reason for it?"
Light was surprised by question. He thought to himself [I thought you would ask me why he can't turn into a woman. But I guess you forget about that because of the after effects of remembering the memory of the void. Don't worry I will answer that question too.]
He replies to her question :"He is my substitute but he can't fully do all of my jobs. There are some restrictions n his power unlike mine. Since I am the greatest. Also there are more than billions of universes I created. And I alone created all of them. He only govern and rule one of the universe. He can only five or six universes at once with his full power."
Natsumi was very surprised by his reply. She thought that there are only hundreds or thousands of world or universes in the world. She asks him :"Only five or six! Wasn't he supposed to be your substitute?"
Light continues :"Even though he is my substitute, he is my substitute only for one world. He isn't powerful enough to create and govern all of those universes all by himself. The universe or the world that he govern is the world you live in. And the reason why he can't search for the people who got lost inside of the gate it's because they agreed with something beforehand. It was that they would go alone inside of that gate and that no one can search for them. They must go to the other world by themselves."
Another question aroused I her mind when he (Light) replied to her. She asks him (Light) like this :"What do mean by agrees?"
Light creates a chair on the veranda and he sits down on the chair. He crosses both of his arms over his chest.
He then replies to her :"Let's see. If any people died and agreed on being reborn in any of the world behind the gates. I would asked them this question. If you wanted to get reborn in another world or your world. There is one thing you need to agree beforehand. It's that, no one can search for you if you get lost inside of the gate. They have to agree to it or else they can't enter it. Also I forgot to say it but Ban can't turn into a woman cause I didn't give him the power and the permission and the authority and the choice of turning into one. One day I will give it to him, Don't worry. It won't be soon though."
Natsumi thought to herself [Who cares about him not turning into a woman!!!]
She also gets madly angry at him after hearing that reply from him.
She replies to him :"Because of you. Because of you."
She looks at him with angry expression and continues her reply to him with a angry voice :"All these people got lost inside of the gates and never find themselves being reborn in the world they wanted to be reborn."
Ban was startled by her voice. He wakes up. He looks ta her and saw that she is angry.
He [What Light did now? Will he never get his lessons? Did he make fun of her or made her angry by saying something]
He stands up from the bed and starts walking towards them slowly. Light didn't apologize to her neither did he had any remorse in his face.
He replies to her :"You wouldn't have said that to me if you knew the reason for it."
Ban enters the veranda and asks them about that :"Light! Why is Natsumi angry? What did you do again?."
Light looks at him with bored expression on his face. He replies to him :"You don't have to say it like that. She is angry. But At me though Tell her to stop getting angry at me. It makes me sad."
Ban thought to himself [Then at least make a face that you are remorseful for what you did.]
He then asks her :"What did he say to make you angry?"
Natsumi replies to his (Ban) question :"Because he didn't give the people outside of the gates to find who got lost inside of those gates."
He was relieved after hearing that from her. He replies to her with relieved face :"Oh! That was the reason! I thought it was something very serious."
Natsumi wasn't happy seeing his relieved expression on his face. It made her more angry and displeased. She expected that he would understand how much she hate him (Light) but he didn't.
She asks him (Ban) :"Why are you making that relieved face? Aren't you more than 3000 years old? Don't you have someone you want to meet that got lost or trapped inside one of the gate? Don't you understand my anger to him for them? How can it be not a serious thing?"
Ban realizes that she wasn't happy with his expression. But rather than making her happy or relieved, his expression made her more angry. He looks at Light. Light looked at him with that same expression on his face.
He (Ban) again looks at her and he replies to her questions :"Of course I am more than three thousand years old. And I also have some people who I want to meet. But I can't for various reasons. But everything happens for a reason. Even though it might give them some pain and depression, it is still happening for a good reason. I believe in that. You should also know that every people that lived in earth isn't good. There are some bad people who killed, ransom, steal, rape, betray other people for no good reason. Most of those bad people went to hell right after their death five thousand years ago. But nowadays most of the people who was bad in their former life and did horrible and terrifying act in the normal life are now lost and trapped inside those gates. So now don't be angry at him for that. Even though it seems bad at first it have great reasons to happen."
Natsumi understand his reasoning. Though there was still one thing that was bothering in her mind.
She replies to him :"I understand what you are trying to say. I will try to respect him instead of just hating him. But still you didn't answer the question that I have asked you before. Don't you have someone who got lost and trapped inside of the gates that you want to meet??"
Ban was taken a back by that reply. He looks at the sky and replies to her question :"I have one people that got trapped inside of the gate forever. I still want to meet her. Though it's seems like she did some horrible act that I didn't knew about. And that's why she got trapped inside of those gates. I guess that's her punishment for the thing she did. After all karma gets you back.."
He smiles. Natsumi was stunned by how he smiles after saying that and talks about her as if it is someone important to him and it's someone that he wants to forget about. She didn't know how to react to that. Though she felt a bit guilty and anger towards herself for letting him remember someone precious to him, that is a someone who is forever trapped inside those gate.
