Chapter 34

Another morning is here.
We get up and prepare to head out, girls put on the same clothes as always.
We head to the city street market first thing in the morning to avoid the most busy time.
People are horrified yet again, screams are heard everywhere and another ghost like town is created.
'it's still so surreal huh, you might just forget we are on a giant spider' says the rogue.
No one is at the stalls but we can't just steal since we are trying to build up our reputation.
We take food and leave the coins there, 50 copper coins on food, it will last for weeks normally but I eat more than normal so it will only last several days.
As the hours go by we enter the god dungeon again.
The same routine and it goes well again, we know the place now so it gets easier.
Most of the sneak attacks no longer affect us since we know what to look out for.
We make good time and clear the first 3 floors.
The bat swarm and giant bat boss are still a problem, mostly due to their numbers and acid attack.
We countered this by focusing on spraying my webs to entangle the smaller ones while focusing on shutting off the boss's mouth.
Everything went as planned except me getting a handful of acid splashed on my side.
Another completion and we head out, the acid doesn't leave any marks since it's healed.

The next day we go again, on the 4th day we get a request.
An adventurer team wants to join us, they are an average team.
Mid 20 year old group it seems with 2 women and 2 men, they seem to be stuck in C rank for years.
Warrior men and mage women, TWINS, they look they same so I can't of what else they are.
All of them blonde haired and the usual equipment.
2 sets of twins getting together, it might be more common than realized.
We accept since we have no reason not to.
We clear 3 floors, they have done well so far, the mage women are fire and water specialists.
The formation we have is they stay around me as we move forward.
Seeing them like this you wouldn't think there was any issues with them.
The 4th floor now, the giant bat swoops down as usual as the bats swarm at us.The adventurers are overwhelmed but not defeated.

As the giant bat comes closer they attack it but nothing works, they don't have a finishing move strong enough for that.

I once again finish the bat with my poison bites and we head out.

Outside we rest and have a talk.
'you did well but you don't really have a strong finishing move' says the rogue.
'I believe you need another member' says the rogue.
They agree but don't really want to add another member.
'hmm, Ah! then why don't you get a mount like us? you will improve and you won't need to force more people into your team'
'we thought about that but we were always hesitant about it' says one of the girls.
'after this though I realize how strong a mount can make a team, we definetly will look into this' says one of the guys.
We say good bye for the day and rest for the rest of the day.
Our 5th time going into the god dungeon, more adventurers are here today.
We decide to take it slow and fight near them.
They are wary of course since another monster is near them but as we kept fighting they mellow out as we advance all the way to the boss.
5 groups including the twins, this should be easy right?
The bat swarm is defeated handedly as the bat boss is overwhelmed by numbers and my webs holding its mouth shut to limit the acid attacks.
Overwhelmed by the warriors it falls and everyone lets out a victorious battle cry.
Parts of it are collected and we all head out as one out ofthe dungeon.
