Chapter 2

(Next day)

As I woke up and saw myself lying on my bed, I remember the tragic events that were happening in my life. I slowly cried that I will never see my wonderful parents again, I got up, walked towards the bathroom to clean myself. As I was going out to the bathroom, my phone vibrated I picked up the phone and said " Makoto speaking" the voice answered, " Haa my nephew, how's your day lad?" I smiled and replied," I'm okay uncle, I just finished my daily routine, how about you?". His uncle chuckled and replied " I'm fine lad, waiting for you in our usual restaurant" I raised my eyebrow and asked " the same restaurant ?". We both laugh as we memorize our daily routine before, during, and after my parents' funeral, " You know how we always do right lad?" His uncle replied, I smiled and replied, " Always has been, I'll be there Uncle", his uncle hummed and said, " Keep safe on your travels, lad". We ended our call then I look at the clock and said that it was 8:00 A.M, I dressed up my causal clothes and walked downstairs. When I reached the living room I saw a man who wore a gray tuxedo, gray trousers, and black shoes. "Uncle Theodore?" I said to a man named Theodore Concord who was sipping his tea and replied " Haa Makoto, my favorite lad. How are you?" I smiled and replied, " I'm doing well Uncle, How are you too?" Theodore laugh wholeheartedly then he decided to take him a ride where he and his little brother meet up in their usual restaurant. " Actually, We are going to the same restaurant where you and my little brother Howard, that you two always eat and meet up". Theodore said earning me a chuckle lightly as we go out to the door.

As we were outside, I saw my uncle's Ford Mustang Black SuperSnake. I swear to God, I really like to ride my own car like Uncle, We got in the car and left.

(20 minutes later)

As we reached our destination, we parked and get out of the car to meet up with my uncle Howard. We entered our the restaurant and as we entered, Uncle Howard who was waving at us at his spot right next to the window, he wore his casual clothes, we walked towards him and said our greetings, we sat down and ate our breakfast. While we are eating, Uncle Theodore starting the conversation, "Brother, how's your day?" Uncle Theodore asked, I took a bit of bacon and Uncle Howard replied, "Alive and kicking, I should ask you the same". I snickered, knowing that they were throwing taunts yet again, as they were throwing their taunts to each other, the manager saw me and asked, " Are they doing it again?" We laughed and I replied, You know how they always do that" We laugh and he asked me " One more?" I nodded then the manager left to give me one more. After the two uncles finished their 'play' at the same time the manager serves me my favorite food. The two looked at me and chuckled at their childishness after we eat our food Uncle Theodore paid our meal and we left. While we reached the parking lot, we entered the car, and Uncle Theodore's phone rang, he picked it up, he excused himself to talk to someone on the phone. While we waiting for Uncle Theodore, we decided to get out first to do something while waiting for him. I saw Uncle Howard taking his vape to cool himself, I decided to watch the clouds in the distance, minutes passed and we saw Uncle Theodore finished talking and we get in the car and left.

(50 minutes later)

As we reached the house, we get out of the car, we bought some groceries and went inside our house. I lied down on the couch as we finished placing the groceries that we bought while Uncle Howard went to the T.V to open it, knowing that we are going to watch some Netflix movies/series, I smiled and proceeded to watch our favorite show. Hours have passed and we finished watching the show, we have enjoyed the show that makes us curious and happy at the same time. I saw the following shows that Netflix has to offer, I read aloud " Outlaw King" then Uncle Howard continued " The Scottish King Robert the Bruce fights for his life to bring Scotland's freedom from the hands of the English". I asked, " Since William Wallace rallied and led his people to win their freedom, until the Battle of Falkirk that's where he is going to meet his fate, aye?" the two uncles nodded their heads and Uncle Theodore replied, " Aye, At least he pulled out one helluva fight. He bled the English and they paid the price, he knew that the Scottish will gain its independence, he believes that someone will rally and led the Scottish people to victory". I chuckled and something bothered me the most, I asked my uncles, "By the way uncles, the restaurant that we always go there was a popular place, because the accommodation of food and the service was great, right uncles?" Uncle Howard laugh and replied, "That's true lad, ever since the Viking Restaurant was opened and it's also new for our neighborhood, your parents and I went there to taste something new food over there. As we go there and the food was great to be honest, at that time I decided to bring you there and time to time that restaurant was flourishing and grinding to the things they loved". After that, Uncle Theodore join the conversation and added, " And then you two rascals were VIPs there so the staffs, members heck even the owner of that restaurant knows you two very well". I and Uncle Howard laugh because it was true that we are VIPs in that restaurant, which gives us the advantage to information about marketing. "Uncle Theodore and Uncle Howard" I called them and their attention went into me, listening for what I've said. I continued " it's training time, right? Both uncles look at each other and nodded, "Yes it is time, lad," said Uncle Theodore. They looked at me knowing that it is time, I got up to the couch and we went to the basement.

That's all I can say,

I spent 9 hours training myself in self-defense, my uncles drilled me in intense training, learning to wield a knife, disarmed it both gun and knife, 50 push-ups and sit-ups, 100km sprinting and learning about defensive techniques. Now, it is time to learn how to defeat my enemy by eliminating their resistance, As I was entering our huge backyard. I saw my uncles preparing something like covers of sandbags, barrels, broken pieces of car parts, wheels, wooden plates, etc. It looks like an airsoft game, I saw Uncle Theodore tossed me airsoft HK146, I catch it and he gives me a gear of HK146 the magazines, 3 airsoft grenades, and also the KWA H&K USP, I got confused and I asked " Uhh. Uncle Theodore, what is this?" Uncle Howard laugh and explained it to me " You see, Makoto your uncle, and I think about this training regime that will help you to become strong also, it helps you to think fast on how to deal with the conflict when it goes south. I know that it was dangerous but, this will help you in the future and you wanted to become a soldier right? Now, this is the moment that you wanted to do for so long. Your father and your uncles were talking about this before you were born and you reach the age of 12, so anyways, shall we begin?" I nodded eagerly. This earned my uncles' attention that it was time to start the training, I cock up my HK146 and said " Let the training begins". I saw my uncle Howard reloading his favorite airsoft PTS Centurion Arms CM4 ERG and Uncle Theodore's Krytac Kriss Vector, I felt that this training will be the death of me, anyways let's get to work.
