Chapter 5

They got home exhausted, Kyo made way towards the bath but Akaza shoved him aside and got in first. "This is payment for before." Kyo pondered a bit outside the bathroom but decided to go in anyway. "Hey, I'm taking a bath so get out, wait for your turn" complained Akaza.

"We're both guys so what's the problem? I'm dead tired too." said Kyo, removing his clothes.

They got in the tub, it was big enough for both of them to be inside but they couldn't move and kept touching skin which made Akaza troubled but he was too tired to fight it and just let himself relax. Akaza opened his eyes and found himself on his bed with no recollection of how he got there and worse, by his side was a naked sleeping Kyo. "Ah!" Screamed Akaza startled with the situation "Why are you here?" he said while pushing Kyo.

"Blame yourself for that," said Kyo, rubbing his eyes "You fell asleep in the bath and didn't wake up for nothing. I had to bring you to your room and then you stuck to me and wouldn't let me leave."

Akaza's heartbeat picked up at his embarrassing behaviour and his cheeks turned red, he looked away from Kyo and prayed that it was dark enough that Kyo wouldn't notice it. "It's okay, let's just sleep, it's still day outside" said Kyo, patting Akaza's head and nudging him towards the bed again. Akaza laid down, his back turned to Kyo, and closed his eyes wishing his heartbeat wasn't as loud as he felt it was.

A few hours later, Kyo got up and left the room, he was dead tired from lack of sleep. After he had brought Akaza to his bed he wouldn't let go of his arm so he just laid down beside him and turned to the pink haired demon who was still clutching his lower right arm. They were face to face and for Kyo it almost looked like Akaza was smiling. 'Cute', he had thought while unconsciously his left hand was caressing his pink hair. It took a long time for him to fall asleep and as if it had been seconds after he had done so, he woke to Akaza's scream. Kyo noticed Akaza blushing and in that small space between them Kyo heard Akaza's heart beating as if he was running away. Kyo closed his eyes, Akaza's heartbeat filling his ears and he let himself follow the symphony that slowly became calmer and steady.

Kyo got dressed and just as he was about to go outside he heard noise from Akaza's room, he smiled imagining Akaza freaking out because of last night. Some time later Akaza came outside, his forehead and knuckles red, and before Kyo could even say 'morning' Akaza was throwing punches at him, with a full on battle mode aura. Kyo entertained him and even after a couple of hours had passed Akaza's will to fight didn't seem to lower, Kyo's on the other hand was at his lowest. He was tired and bored and feeling peckish, however Kyo knew that when Akaza was in his fight mode it would take a lot for him to come out of it.

Kyo decided to lose to Akaza and make an excuse to avoid a rematch even if he had to beg or run away for a few hours, but then Kyo remembered that he had acquired a sweet weapon to bring Akaza to his knees. He felt stupid for having forgot this, but as soon as he got an opportunity he lowered himself and went for Akaza's abdomen but instead of a full blow to it, he put both his hands to Akaza's side and tickled him. Akaza yelped and laughed out loud and while he tried hard to hit Kyo to stop him, Kyo kept evading him. Akaza moved away, a weird expression on his face "This is a fight, why the hell are you doing that?" he screamed while pointing his finger at Kyo.

"This is a anything-goes fight, you said it yourself right when we first met." said Kyo, hands at his side and a smirk on his face. After this the amount of times Akaza asked Kyo to fight lowered a lot and when they fought Kyo would choose how, when and for how long they would fight with the promise of not tickling Akaza.
