Resolution (Final Chapter)

Yahiko looked around the forest, the black mist that had transported back into the real world was still encircling a small area of the forest, looping constantly in small circles. The mist eventually stopped a few feet in front of Yahiko, as the mist slowly dissipated a silhouette of a girl could be seen.  Yahiko knew who it was, the girl wore a long black dress, her long black hair flowed down her back and her hallow black eyes started daggers into him. 

"Emmia" Yahiko called out. 

Emmia have no response. 

"Look i know the truth, i know what happened to you" Yahiko said. 

Emmia slowly tilted her head but still gave no response. 

Yahiko boldly stepped closer and closer to Emmia. 

"I cant pretend i know what you went through because i dont, but i want you to know i am so sorry for what happened to you no one should have to go through that." Yahiko said with tears welling up in his eyes. 

He was now and arms reach from Emmia who had still not moved. 

"Emmia please stop this, this is wrong killing people makes you no different from them please stop this. please please please" Yahiko pleaded. 

"EMMIA" Yahiko shouted. 

Yahiko lunged forward wrapping his arms around Emmia, tears flooded Yahiko's eyes. 

"I-I cant" Emmia said in a quite voice. 

The black mist once again surrounded Emmia. 

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Emmia screamed. 

"Alone Alone i was all alone no one helped me, no one cared enough to want to help me i died in pain alone and suffering, no one i was all alone and now i will make sure everyone who knows of my story knows suffering before the end!" Emmia screamed in an almost demonic voice. 

The black mist was absorbed into Emmia's body. Emmia clenched her fists. 

"Emmi-" Yahiko tried to say. 

Emmia clutched onto Yahiko's throat with one hand. 

Yahiko gagged and chocked for air. 

"ALL OF YOU" Emmia said in a cold voice. 

Emmia threw Yahiko through the air with one hand, Yahiko hit a nearby tree before crumbling to the ground. 

"Argh" Yahiko grunted in pain. 

"What do i do, what do i do, how do i stop her." Yahiko thought. 

Yahiko spotted something lying on the ground next to him, he slowly reached out his hand to pick the item up. "Accelerent" seeing the canister made Yahiko remember something he had read in an article on the internet. 

"A ghost can be destroyed if the body is found and destroyed with fire" 

"But they never found Emmia's body no one knows where it is" Yahiko thought. 

"Wait a minute, that memory when i was in her body she died in that ditch where i woke up and as far as i know nobody moved the body afterward so it should still be there buried underneath the dirt" Yahiko thought. 

Yahiko slowly made his way back to his feet, before he could even move Emmia rushed towards him striking him several times in the body and face. She once again threw him across the forest floor. 

Yahiko panted trying to recover from the beating he had just taken, he began crawling towards the ditch that he had been in earlier when he woke up. The ditch was only a short crawl away. 

Yahiko crawled up the small hill of dirt and finally reached the top of the ditch, he rolled down as quick as he could and began digging at the dirt with his bare hands. 

He was finally greeted with the sight that proved his theory was spot on, A skeleton lying in the dirt. 

"This must be Emmia's body, all i have to do is cover it in accelerent then burn it" Yahiko said outloud. 

Yahiko covered the body in accelerant. 

At that moment Emmia appeared in the ditch alongside him, Yahiko endured another onslaught of strikes. Emmia struck Yahiko with a kick that hit with such force it was able to knock him to the top of the ditch. 

Yahiko was lying at the top of the ditch beaten and battered. 

Emmia slowly walked up to him and pinned him down to the ground. 

She wrapped her hand around his neck and squeezed. 

SQUEEZE SQUEEZE SQUEEZE 

"E-Emmia P-Please" Yahiko pleaded. 

Emmia did not respond she just squeezed tighter. Yahiko noticed that Emmia had tears in her hallow black eyes. 

"I cant give up i have to help her, she deserves peace, i have to do it for her" Yahiko thought. 

Yahiko reached his arm into his coat pocket and pulled out his lighter. 

He flicked the lighter open and struck the flame. 

He then summoned his strength and through the lighter into the ditch. 

The lighter struck the ground and its flame ignited the accelent, setting the skeleton on fire. 

Emmia relinquished her grip on Yahiko's neck. 

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Emmia screamed. 

Black mist engulfed her entire body. 

SWOOOOOSH 

*PANT PANT* Yahiko tried to regain his breath. 

Emmia was gone and he was now alone in the forest. 

"I did it, i really did it" Yahiko said. 

His vision began to darken. 

"Rest in peace Emmia" Yahiko said softly.

Yahiko slowly opened his eyes and saw a familiar sight, his bedroom ceiling. He looked around the room slowly until eventually he liked eyes with a girl who was sitting down beside his bed her head was resting on his legs and she was quite clearly asleep. 

Yahiko smiled. 

"You are a sight for sore eyes" Yahiko said under his breath. 

Yahiko leaned forward and placed his hand on her head. 

"Ugh" Ayano let out a soft moan before slowly opening her eyes. 

A look of excitement and relief shot on Ayano's face, she lept up and hugged Yahiko. 

"Your awake" Ayano said. 

"I hope i did not scare you" Yahiko said jokingly. 

"Tatsumi and me found you by tracking your GPS, you were out in the woods all by yourself what were you doing out there" Ayano asked. 

"I did it Ayano" Yahiko said 

"Did what" Ayano said. 

"I stopped Emmia and put her to rest" Yahiko said with a smile. 

"W-What how did you do that" Ayano asked. 

"It's a long story but all you need to know is we are safe" Yahiko said. 

Ayano felt like crying but was holding it back. 

"T-Thank you Yahiko, you saved us all" Ayano said. 

Yahiko pulled Ayano closer to him. 

"No its you i have to thank, this all started because of me and i nearly got you and Tatsumi killed and you guys still stuck around to help me i am enternily grateful" Yahiko said sincerely. 

"Also i had a promise to keep.... i promised i would always protect you didn't i" Yahiko said as he clutched onto Ayano's hand. 

Ayano nodded and she began to shed tears. 

Yahiko placed a hand on her cheek and leaned to kiss her lips softly. 

Ayano lay down next to Yahiko and the two fell asleep in each others arms. 

Next to Yahiko's bed stood his computer which was open with a document on screen 

The document was blank with the exception of one phrase. 

ALL....OF.....THEM 

The computer then switched itself off.....

*Authors note* So guys i really hoped you enjoyed this story and thank you a thousand times over for all those who kept up with it. im sorry that this story was not longer and i also apologies if the ending felt a bit rushed i was honestly just running out of ideas for the story but i wanted to end it on a strong note. anywho thanks again to all those who read the story and kept up with the chapters you guys are the best and i hope you all continue to motivate and continue to support me on my future stories :)
