Chapter 3(part 2) - A mansion or an apartment?

“Come on, I’ll take you to your room. It’s a good thing Amadeus immediately informed me that he has someone with him that needs a place to stay unless someone would have taken you room.” She said while we were going upstairs. We took a turn to the right and she took me to a room at the very corner of the corridor.

“This is going to be your room. Change your clothes first and rest. I will just tour you around tomorrow since the time’s tight tonight. I will also enroll you in that school, since Amadeus also mentioned that you needed to study. So just rest for now. I’m Cristina by the way, you can just call me ‘Auntie Tina’.” She also introduced herself and took out her right hand, which I immediately shook.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Catte Lhein Anatalia and…. Uh……” I started avoiding her eyes as I was hesitating to say what I wanted to say.

“Hm?” she urged me to speak.

“Uhh…. I don’t have any belongings with me since I cannot remember anything other than drowning.” Of course, that’s a lie.

“They didn’t even look for you?” she asked with a worried expression.

“They didn’t.” I replied while looking down.

“What a poor child. Okay then, I’ll just borrow Lanzhuen’s clothes for you. And also, what’s your size? Just in case her clothes won’t fit you.” She asked while scratching her head.

“Ahhhh…. I’m medium sized.” I answered and smiled.

“Okay, I’ll just knock on the door later. Rest for now.” She said and tapped my shoulder.

“Thank you, auntie.” I thanked her and she just nodded and walked away, so I closed the door.

When I finally had my whole attention on the room, I got really amazed. The room was spacious and the interior design was very modern. It has a queen sized bed, a white fur carpet, one pair of drawers on each side of the bed on the left side of the room. There is a lampshade and telephone on top of it. And then there’s a flat screen television in front of the bed and a study table beside it on the right side of the room.

There was also a couch and a white curtain before the window. I can see the whole village light when I look out of the window but I think it’s a reflective window on the outside. On the right side, right after you enter the door, there’s a bathroom and a walk-in closet on the opposite side.

Is this really just an apartment? This looks like a hotel or a room from a mansion.

I laid down on the bed on my stomach and I didn’t even bother taking off my shoes.

‘Will I survive in this world and have my revenge? No, I WILL.’ I thought before going to sleep.

I woke up and saw on the clock that it was already 10 in the morning. There was a blanket covering my body and I was not wearing my shoes anymore.

I stood up and fixed the bed before my eyes caught a set of clothes on the study table. Those must be the clothes from Lanzhuen.

After fixing the bed, I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I realized it just now, but I didn’t get to change my clothes last night. I mean, it’s okay but I was found in the ocean, so if not for me hearing gossip for about 15 minutes and teasing the old man for a long time, I would have slept with my wet clothes on without even realizing it.

Auntie Tina gave me a white spaghetti crop top with see-through floral shirt and a 3-inch above the knee pink skirt. Is this what

Lanzhuen usually wear? I have just worn my bralette from yesterday since what Auntie Tina gave me is a bit tight and I was uncomfortable with it.

“Catte? Are you already awake?” I heard Auntie Tina’s voice outside the room.

“Ah! Yes, auntie! I was just getting ready, I’ll go out after a minute.” I answered while wearing the ankle boots of the old man yesterday.

“Okay, then. I will wait for you downstairs.” She said and I could hear disappearing footsteps.

I got out of the room and went downstairs. I saw auntie Tina sitting on the couch while waiting for me, so I walked towards her.

“I will enroll you first, just in case they close the admission area. Tomorrow is the last day but they usually close it earlier. Come on, Xavier is waiting for us outside. He will go with us.” She said while we were walking outside.

I saw the prince standing outside the gate. Oh, so his name is Xavier? Should I just call him’Xavier’? Prince Xavier? Your majesty?

“Catte, ride with Xavier’s horse and I will ride with this soldier.” I could see two horses and she pointed to the one on the left. I just nodded at her and walked towards the horse. Uh.. I was just asking, but aren’t there any carriages here? Just horses? No, I am not complaining.

“Good morning.” Xavier greeted me with a monotone voice. He held my hand and helped me get on the horse. Seriously auntie Tina, why would you make me wear a skirt when you know we are going to ride horses?

I was sitting in the front and Xavier sat behind me. Thankfully, he gave me a cloth to cover the nakedness of my legs when my skirt pulled up because my legs were spread. While we are on our way, many people are whispering while we are passing, which is unquestionable since I am with a prince.

But aren’t there too many gossipers here?

When we arrived at the school, I immediately noticed the stand with ‘Dishelle Lim University’. The school was even bigger than a usual university in the human world.

Xavier went down first before offering his hand, which I immediately accepted and jumped down.

“Ha! That’s too high!” I commented when I landed on the ground and called out his name when he unintentionally hadn’t let go of my hand yet and looking in front of the school.

“Xavier, I’m okay now.” He flinched and let go of my hand immediately. I walked beside him and I caught him making an expression like he cannot believe that he didn’t realize he was still holding my hand that I need to point it out.

“Yiee… you have a crush on me?” I teased him and poked his waist.

“Luh, no way… who would have a crush on someone like you?” he said with a mocking face.

“Other than being short, you are not that good-looking for me to have a crush on you.” He added. What the fuck, I just teased him and he will insult me like that? Karma is too fast.

“Oh shit, I was just joking. Why would you even say the truth? Whatever.” I said and walked faster.

“Sorry, it’s just the truth. Truth hurts, you know?” he added, laughing.

“Fuck you all over, Xavier.” I cussed at him. I thought he was going to say sorry for real. I left him there and walked to the entrance first.

“You should not cuss and call the prince casually, woman!” he shouted while still laughing.

“Haha, Catte. You two are funny. You are the first one to tease and call the prince casually like that.” Auntie talked to me and I didn’t realize she was actually watching us.

“Heh, he must be a respectful figure to others, even with his personality, just because he has the title of a prince.” I replied and walked side to side with her.

“Come on, we will fill out the form here.” We entered a room and a man gave me a form and a ballpoint pen. I filled out the form with my name, age, and…..

“Uh.. auntie. It says the place of birth. I cannot remember anything.” I asked auntie and kept up with my lie.

“Just write ‘Reilee Medical Hospital’. I’ll take care of it soon.” She answered and I thanked her with a smile.

They made me wear different sizes of uniforms and I got to say, it’s really pretty compared to the ones I have in the human world. I also took a scholarship exam in the other room after that.

And it’s also a good thing that I studied really well in the human world because the questions here tackled all our lessons.

“Are you finished? Go to the cafeteria with Xavier for now, since you haven’t had breakfast yet. I will just take care of other things here as your guardian.” She said and stood up.

“Okay.”

“Here, this way.” I was following Xavier since he was the one who knew the areas in this school.

The cafeteria is also quite spacious with many tables, so I assume there are many students who go to this school.

He made me sit almost at the middle table and ordered for me.
