The Swordmaster and the New God
"How the hell did I think this was real?" I muttered under my breath. Palsu stretched out beyond the horizon, its copy and pasted fields of grass obviously fake to even the most idiotic eyes.
"Emilia, stay safe in there." I turned to my guard, standing at the edge of the barrier, this is as far as they'd come, it was too dangerous for people like them, people not even close to high powered, to say the least
"It's not exactly my first time tackling this, ill be fine."
"If you say so." My guard took one worried look at me and exited Palsu. There we go, another round, and maybe this time I could take someone out who wouldn't turn into a mental patient.
"Oooooh come ooooooon. Austin is just vibing bro."
"Wha?" I turned to see the source of the commotion. it was a... clown? No, more like a bard, way lighter on the makeup and decorations, yet still holding what looked to be a wooden lire.
"Don't you see it? dudes just looking at a new perspective, ideas, values, vies, isn't it so fun!" he chuckled to himself.
"What the hell you want? I can't scan you, so your clearly not from Palsu."
"My god, your observant too, a perfect candidate, perfect person, yet are you? questions questions, are questions so interesting?" His smooth voice was almost intoxicating, despite how little his ramblings made sense
"Answer my question, bard!"
"Fine fine, so who am I? What a weird question, am? I? two weird words with so much meaning packed into them. I guess you could say I'm a gift, a wish maker of sorts. And I'm here to fulfill one of those wishes.
"not your wish, however, you see, one of the big shots has plans for you, yet being one of those big shots, they have me do their dirty work, it's such a pain really."
"What do you mean big shots?"
"Thats for me to know, and you to find out. Oh not here though, that's boring, and besides your time here is over, done, finished."
I started to gather energy around my fists, whatever this dude was planning, I wasn't going to be a part of it.
"Time to get isekai'd again Emilia! have fuuuuuuuuuun!"
I shot the apployiptic blasts at him, yet he just snapped his fingers and disappeared into thin air. "What the-" I felt a tug at the back of my hair.
Behind me, a portal was forming in the empty space, black as midnight without a peep of light inside.
The pull got stronger and stronger. it was like a black hole, there was nothing I could do. I studied my feet, yet just got pulled into the black void.
"And that's a job well done." The bard muttered under his breath, laying down in the field
