Savior

Liam-31 was able to land a direct shot on the first raptor that flew past him, killing it instantly as it crashed and destroyed the building past him.

The other raptors continued to try and get a hold of Liam-31, but his quick dodges and evasiveness allowed him to flee from the raptor's sharp claws.

As the raptors flew into the sky, Liam-31 reloaded his auto rifle to prepare for the next wave of attacks that were sure to come. The raptors flew downwards at blitzing speeds, blowing past the wind as they gaped open their mouths to swallow him whole.

The raptors grouped together, giving Liam-31 a difficult time to shoot all their heads at once. He wouldn't have enough bullets to be able to kill them all before they reached him, so instead he reached into his armor's pouches, carrying in his hand a flash bang.

Looking for the perfect moment to strike, Liam-31 waited for the raptors to have just enough distance that he wouldn't be disoriented from the flash bang. 

When the the time was right, Liam-31 threw the flash bang on the floor, instantaneously emitting a bright light and a high pitched bang.

The raptors crashed into various buildings past Liam-31 attempting to shake away at their temporary blindness as Liam-31 proceeded to unload bullets into their heads.

Before being released from their blindness, Liam-31 was able to shoot three raptors dead, as the four that remained flew high into the sky.

The sun blocking his view from the locations of the raptor's, Liam-31 took the opportunity to find cover into one of the buildings, sprinting with all his energy as he could hear the raptor's trill shrieks looming over him.

Hearing the intense sound of wings flapping, Liam-31 dove into the building, crawling his way into the front door as behind him he could see the nightmarish beak of the raptor who attempted to enter the building. Shaking it's way into the building, Liam-31 returned his auto rifle for his shotgun, blasting the raptor's head into smithereens as it lay dead on the floor, it's mouth still wide open.

Outside, Liam-31 could no longer hear the screams from the raptors, or their flapping wings. He knew that he would not be able to stay in the building for long, one reason being that another creature could attempt to attack him, and another being that he was wasting time getting to the camp. 

Knowing that he was walking into a death trap, Liam-31 reloaded his weapons before retreating from the building, the sounds of the raptors still could not be heard. 

Almost confused, Liam-31 began to look around his surroundings to spot the raptors. An act he would soon regret as the ear piercing sound of a raptor's scream left him shocked, as he turned around to face a raptor's sharp claws.

Barely dodging its attack, Liam-31 became too busy shooting at the fleeing raptor, as another quickly came down from the sky to attack it from another angle.

Releasing his focus on the first raptor, Liam-31 fired his shotgun towards the other raptor, killing it as its body tumbled onto Liam-31, sending him into one of the building's walls.

Trapped under the raptor's dead carcass, he could see from a distance that another raptor was attempting to attack him. Finally releasing himself, Liam-31 fired bullets in its direction, unable to kill the raptor as it began to move around in the air, dodging his attacks.

They were learning to adapt to combat.

Hurdling under the raptor, Liam-31 shot at it's body, blood bursting from its skin as it flew into the sky, allowing Liam-31 to reload his gun.

Unfortunately for him, that would be a grave mistake, as unsuspectingly, the other raptor remaining grabbed Liam-31 into the sky, its massive claws beginning to crack his armor. Struggling to release himself from the raptor's tight grip, it proceeded to drop Liam-31 into it's large beak, as without any other options to defend himself, Liam-31 grabbed a grenade from his pouch, throwing it into the raptor's beak as he braced himself for impact.

In three seconds, the raptor's body blew up into blood and flesh. Liam-31 was released from the raptor's grip, but instead found himself in a free fall to the ground. 

Thanks to his armor's ability to suppress landing, he was able to reach the ground rather safely, but not without tumbling downwards as he hurried to get himself up from the ground. 

As he looked up, he could see the final raptor in the distance, bloody as its beak and claws were itching to gnaw at his skin. With little time to grab his shotgun from his back, Liam-31 had to come up with a plan quick enough to avoid being eaten.

Just as the raptor was about to swallow Liam-31 hole, he could hear a loud bang coming from atop one of the buildings, as Liam-31 looked back towards the raptor, which was no longer in front of him. Instead, a massive hole had gone straight through it's skull, its body falling just short of Liam-31's head. 

Getting up from his position, Liam-31 looked around for the person who had saved him from imminent death, as just atop the highest building, he was able to spot the body of a human carrying a sniper rifle.

And to his surprise, they seemed to have been wearing Bastion Armor as well.
