Change of Plans

It’s morning time… I’m really drowsy and still half asleep.

Some time later we get ready to meet back up at the adventurers guild hall, to prepare to depart for the capital.

During the past week since I’ve woken up after using my curse powers, the guild has paid me well for my efforts in fighting Hideki and Sebal, and they promoted me to a silver ranked adventurer, so I am now the same rank in the guild as Claire.

I was also asked some questions by some guards about the four saviors, I told them about my three summoned friends that were summoned here like me. I still don’t know why we are here and why this mysterious group called the white order would apparently summon us to this new world.

I don’t really care why we are here, I’m just glad I finally got hit by a semi truck, and got Isekai’d!

We’ve been slacking this week on quests, and have mostly been resting, and we’ve done a little bit of low level monster hunting here and there. So now I’m only level 17, Tana is also level 17, and Claire is level 23.

I’m gonna miss Tana when we leave for the capital, I hope that perverted Yua doesn’t ruin Tana’s mind further.

As the three of us approach the guild hall we notice an expensive looking black and gold metal carriage, with red curtains parked in front of the guild.

I’ve never seen a carriage like that here in Willows Den, this is mostly just a small adventuring town, I wonder what it’s doing here?

As we are about to walk into the guild hall, someone gets out of the expensive looking carriage and stops us.

“Chandler of the four saviors! My name is Philip Aslof, it’s great to finally meet you.” (Philip Aslof)

I look over and it’s a middle aged, bald noble-looking guy.

What in the world does he want with me, and how does he know my name?

“Yeah, what’s up?” (Chandler)

“You and you’re party are officially being summoned to the city of Leafveil as an audience by the great Prince Alexander!” (Philip Aslof)

Who the fuck is Prince Alexander?

Claire looks surprised by this information, she probably knows what’s going on a little bit better than me.

“Prince Alexander? But we were already summoned to the capital to testify for an incident today.” (Claire)

The noble man pulls out a scroll with a seal on it.

“You’re summon to the capital has officially been delayed by the prince, by three months, you are to instead report to Prince Alexander in Leafveil at once!” (Philip Aslof)

This is so sudden, this Prince Alexander dude sounds important, I wonder why he wants to see me?

“You are to report back here in less than one hour, once everyone is present we will provide transport to the Prince’s court in Leafveil.” (Philip Aslof)

“What if we don’t want to?” (Chandler)

Claire nudges me with her elbow.

“We will be here, we appreciate the notice and are grateful to be in the presence of the great prince.” (Claire)

“Sounds good, we will be awaiting you’re return back here shortly.” (Philip Aslof)

Claire, Tana and I walk into the guild hall.

I’m still confused on what the hell just happened.

“Claire what was that? Who the hell is this Prince Alexander and why is he hitting on me?” (Chandler)

Claire sighs.

“He isn’t hitting on you idiot, Prince Alexander is one of the most important men in the whole nation of Skywatch, because he is the first born son of the king, and is the future ruler of this nation! If he wants to see us the when we are going to see him.” (Claire)

“Yay vacation! I get to come right? You aren’t still trying to hog master all to yourself again Big Sis Claire!?” (Tana)

Tana makes a pouty face and flutters her tail.

“T-that isn’t it Tana! But yes, we will bring you with us, our whole party is being summoned isn’t it?” (Claire)

Yua, the perverted black hair girl with sleazy yellow eyes approaches from behind.

“What the hell are you talking about?” (Chandler)

I grab the hilt of my sheathed sword and prepare to draw it.

“Claire, I think I’m gonna kill her.” (Chandler)

Claire sighs.

“No. Don’t do that, you two are idiots.” (Claire)

“Ah that’s right. When are you two departing for the Capital? I will take excellent care of little miss Tana while you two are gone.” (Yua)

“About that we aren’t actually going to the Capital anymore, the Prince summoned Chandler, and us to Leafveil, so there has been a bit of a change in plans.” (Claire)

“Ah I see the prince must be trying to hit on Chandler!” (Yua)

Claire sighs again, and puts her palm up to her face.

“No he isn’t trying to hit on Chandler, it’s an official royal summon and we will learn more about it when we get there…” (Claire)

“Well I think I understand what’s going on, I’m going to take my leave then, I have more research that needs to be done, goodbye you three.” (Yua)

Yua rushes out of the guild.

I don’t even wanna know what’s got her so excited. That pervert is something else.

“Yo fat ass, you got summoned too?” (Matt)

My friend Matt approaches us with a blonde guy in a tank top, the guy looks to be about our age.

“Yeah we were summoned to Leafveil by the prince, how do you know about that, and what do you mean by summoned too?” (Chandler)

“I mean that I also got summoned by this dude, I was thinking of skipping it because it sounds stupid as fuck, but if you’re going too, I guess we will go.” (Matt)

I look at the guy who walked up with Matt. Who is this guy even?

“We? Who is this guy?” (Chandler)

“Oh right, this is Vein he grew up in this area and recently became an adventurer, and me and him formed a party.” (Matt)

Vein shakes my hand.

“Yo, what’s up? Nice to meet you Chandler, I’ve heard of you.” (Vein)

“Nice to meet you too Vein.” (Chandler)

Why was Matt summoned by the Prince too? That noble man, Philip Aslof mentioned something about the four saviors, could that mean that I’m not the only one who was summoned and that could explain why Matt was also summoned…

“Yeah Matt, we are planning to go.” (Chandler)

“Then we are gonna go too, I wonder what this is even about? Hopefully there is money involved so we can get some better weapons and equipment. Me and Vein are gonna get ready then, see you at the carriage.” (Matt)

It seems Matt is starting to adjust to this new world, I knew it would take him a bit to accept our present situation.

“We should get going too, let’s go to the carriage.” (Claire)

“Right.” (Chandler)

“Ok!” (Tana)

We exit the guild hall and approach the fancy carriage with Philip Aslof, and two guards sitting outside of the carriage getting the horses ready.

It’s time to go to Leafveil, and meet the Prince of Skywatch!
