New place - New phase

It took 3 hrs to reach the medical college from my home, I intentionally took a college in another city even though I could have gotten one just 10mins away from my home and my family. Although the comfort of home and mom's food outweighed every other reason to leave for another city. I never felt how it would be to live alone away from parents. I have a liking for adventures (however never done one) this was a perfect opportunity to live the life my way completely, my way.

My whole family came to drop me off to the college hostel/dorm. Dad, Mom and my younger brother stayed another day in my clg guest house for another day to calm me down and so that I could adjust to the place better. 

They left after staying there for a night. My college would not start till another few days. I had plenty of time to get myself settled and roam around the hostel and the campus. Little did I know that roaming in the campus was prohibited for fresher's atleast not until we get our ID-Card. 

While roaming aimlessly in the new place, I get called by a group of seniors sitting under a arch which was attached to a small store where we could get our day to day groceries from. 

"Hey Freshie, Come here" a loud voice came from one of the boys of the group. I had heard about the ragging in this college and from what I knew and heard it was baddd!

But this meeting would change the course of my next 5.5 years at this college.
