Prologue: The Plan

PROLOGUE

A month after the start of the new school year, I was sitting on my chair looking out the window with the view of the school ground. The birds were chirping while the sun's rays started hurting my eyes.

“It’s sunny today.”

That's strange because the weather report said differently this morning...

*Knock, knock.*

Suddenly I heard someone knocking so I focused my sight on the door and said “Come in,” it was Misaki-san, the teacher of Class A from the first year.

“Sorry to interrupt you, Director Omura.”

Misaki-san is a great teacher. She dedicates her teaching to the students to have them build their careers further. Having the ability to be patient and calm in any type of situation while developing trusting relationships with students is her trait.

Maybe she thought that I was busy.

“No need to be sorry; I was not busy after all. Is there something you want to tell me?”

I knew she had some urgent news because she wouldn’t come directly to my office if that weren’t the case.

“There is a problem, and I think it will get worse if not handled properly. It’s about one of my students Sakai Rumi.”

Hearing her name made my eyebrows rise,“What about her?” I asked while I slightly tilted my head.

“She is causing an uproar! Various boys are left with broken hearts. Rather than studying for the upcoming exams, they are moping about their rejection, and this caused the lack of interest in my teaching.”

I knew that she was popular, with excellent grades, and being a beauty at the age of just 16 years old. Naturally, boys would show interest and start confessing to her.

“I see. If we don’t take action against her as soon as possible, then there will be consequences.”

If we let her be, the male students will show an increase in failing grades across the board, which will lower our school education level. That will put us at a disadvantage in this year's competition.

“Please do something about it, Director Omura.”

It’s not up to us to decide who she will be dating or not. But I can’t stand it if she does this to crush the boy's spirits for her own pleasure.

“I will figure out what to do to overcome this problem,” I said.

She gave me a bow, excused herself, and left the room. After she closed the door behind her, I started thinking about what to do.

If I change Sakai Rumi's behavior, then this will be over.

And so I concluded that I needed help from a certain person. This person is very intelligent, and I know he will deal with Sakai-san.

But I need a plan to have him enroll here in this school.
