Chapter 3:

Travel Sick

Strikers

Knightin Gale and Strike waited for one day to pass, so they can gather enough supplies and resources. "Blimey! I almost forgot him" Strike shockingly yelled. "What? I mean who? You forgot who?" Knightin Gale asked. "Ah, it's no-one, just an old friend who lives in the woods, far-side of the city. The man WAS a great staff wielder. Apparently, the best one I know. Didn't get in touch in...well...ages. nothing that about him. Let's move on". After hearing those words from Strike's own mouth, Knightin Gale covered her face with her hand. "Seems like I wasn't wrong calling you dummy" Knightin Gale sighed. "Excuse me!" Strike replied. "Come on boy, remember the scroll...? Did you miss the part we need to find a staff wielder? Oh god. You're like Loki misreading a spell" She said. "Oh...I was wondering how I wind up remembering him. Thanks, Knightin Gale" Strike answered as he missed nothing. "No need to call me Knightin Gale anymore, just call NG. Friends do so..." Knightin Gale asked Strike and now he wondered how her name shortened to N.G; instead of K.G.

Strike called out. "We'll head out to the Tranxiken forest and find Mike. Sounds good?" Knightin Gale nodded and agreed.

After three hours of Strike's misdirected paths and two hours of journey in the correct path, both alphas came to Mike's house. Mike was a farmer and owns a few fields in the forest. Also, have a pretty big barn. Strike saw Mike near the chicken coop. Strike spoke out. "Hey, Mike! How are you doing mate?" "Well, isn't it 'my old mini-alpha'... Me just busy with these STUPID chickens. Doing fine mate. How are you?" Mike answered while struggling to push the chickens into the coop. Strike spoke happily "I am NOT doing great. Just came to visit you for a few reasons. Can us two have a nice chat with you? It's sort of an emergency". "Sort of? really? Every second passing by getting a disaster closer and closer and yet YOU STILL CALL IT A 'SORT OF'?" Listening to Knightin Gale's reply Mike giggled and it disturbed Knightin Gale. "What do you find to laugh? What's so funny?" she questioned. "It's just...do you two have a... 'thing'?" Mike asked it in a very clever fascinating way. "Excuse ME!?" "Beg your pardon!?" both Strike and Knightin Gale replied. "You know what... just forget it, I know how those end". Mike answered and winked. "Strike, do you really think he's your first choice?" Knightin Gale asked. "Well...he's our only known choice. Isn't he?" Strike answered.

A couple of hours later, discussing what happened and yet to happen...

"I'm really sorry for your loss mate. You know I'll help you any possible way. What do you want me to do? Name it. Wiaeve was just like a brother to me too, you know". Mike was ready for action and metaphorically on fire. "Thanks, Mike. I appreciate it. All I'm asking is to be the staff wielder in the team I'm building for the mission". Strike asked him. "Oops... That's a no can do pal. I gave up using staff. Those are boring. I moved on to CHAINS. I've trained hard to use my dream weapon. It's called 'The dragon's tail'. Super cool. But I like to join the team. Any vacancy?" Mike asked. "Done. Let's move out to Jweyine island". Strike replied and also called out Knightin Gale to head to the Jweyine island. The island of Mesuier.

All three, Mike, Strike (rhymes, don't you think?) and Knightin Gale, continue their journey off from the forest to the far North-Northwest side of the Blastrik island and to a small sailboat, to go to the Jweyine island.

Strike, Mike and Knightin Gale arrived at the closest harbour they could find. An unpleasant harbour actually, deserted and foggy. Their destination was to a place, they could find an armourer to make Mike's dream weapon and Strike's desired weapon AND find three new teammates, each with different skill sets. After a day passed, three of them arrived at a town called "Untentic" (sounds like NOT authentic). Untentic is an oasis town. Majorly because from the point the team landed to Ziko is a desert-y terrain.

"So NG, you know this place better than we do. Know what we should do other than our requirements?" Strike asked. Strike actually never had a chance to visit any other places than his homelands. The Untentic town is so noisy. All Kinds of workshops from woodcraft workshops to mass-scale iron factories. "Well, I'd say let's give the orders to a trusted SKILLED armourer and find the other three men WITHOUT detours". Knightin Gale suggested. And Mike and Strike couldn't resist having the thought, that they're getting their ultimate weapons.

After searching inside-out of the entire Untentic town, they found no armourer that can fulfil their orders. But from the shadows a person, leaned on to a wall spoke, "You want to make a dream weapon? Come three miles passing Ziko, and go five miles North, where you meet the end, you'll find the well. There you'll meet the person you seek". As soon those words end he slowly vanished to the darkest shadows. (Creepy) Mike and Strike were jaw-dropped at the moment and screamed "That... was SO COOL!", and in a lower volume Strike said "...Though I still got no word he said to up here" and pointed his head. Humourlessly, Knightin Gale said, "Argh...He just gave us the direction and the path to find 'A' or 'THE' armourer we need to find" Then Mike whispered to Strike in the ear, "Why did she said 'a' or 'the'...?" "Because we don't know what we would find there. And by the way we don't even know who that guy is. Plus, on second thought, you REALLY need to learn how to whisper." Knightin Gale replied.

Strike hardly stopped his laugh and asked what the directions were. Knightin Gale madly put her hand on the forehead. "Keep it together NG, you have total control of yourself," she whispered to herself. "What did she say?" Mike asked. "None of your business! We need to go three miles past Ziko, and go five miles North. But still not sure the last parts though" she said. Strike looked amazed as he spoke. "Alright! Lead the way NG" Knightin Gale put a disapproving look on Strike. "Really. You are the so-called leader of this anonymous team yet you can't remember the directions where we need to go!? How in the world did you reach to be the third-in-line to the next alpha? Honestly!". She was annoyed. "At least I know these..." Strike said. "First, we are lost in this town. Second, we don't know how to get to Zako or whatever that place is and how far it is. And last but not least...We are out of water." He concluded.
