Chapter 2:

Being Worthy

Strikers

Strike is a master of battling. On a battlefield, he's like a man with a sixth sense. Like, he knows where to find, what he wants to find. So he tried to skip the test of Knightin Gale by showing off his confidence.

"Okay, you want to test me. So what you got... Scavenger hunt? one-on-one? Battle with some hostiles you suggest? Just bring it on". Knightin Gale looked a bit surprised because what he said was the "first" part of his test.

(What do you guess? Strike is invincible? No way. Every single person at least has one weakness. Like so, Strike, it's battle strategy. He acts as a weapon. All the (previous) seniors need to say to him was, "go there...do this...retrieve this" only.)

Knightin Gale figured out that he missed the battle strategy test, so she called for it. "Affirmative on that Strike, since you're so confident, let's play 'Kingdoms and dungeons'. Hope you are ready to beat our clan's (Descendants) number one player. Who is me.". She said confidently.

(The game is simple for battle strategists, but Strike isn't a fan of it. This is a board game like chess but not.

Gameplay – Each player (out of the 2) has a castle, an alpha, two boats (each holding 8 soldiers), 3 catapults each with 2 boulders, and 12 soldiers. Victory is decided by the player having the highest number of soldiers and artilleries or first to capture the castle. Each player can specify their attack (e.g.: the 4 soldiers who came from the boat will now steal catapult shots from your base, etc.)

The battle between alphas of the Haeicrol and Descendants keep going on and on. Strike loses ten times in a row; each by getting so close to the castle without a single soldier killed. But managed to destroy all three catapults and two boats of Knightin Gale's. The marvellous thing in these ten battles was, Strike didn't let any of the soldiers of his opponent's or his die. Which intrigued Knightin Gale. She surprisingly asked, "Why do you keep leaving my soldiers alive? Even the alpha? You could've easily won if your alpha just beat down my 4 soldiers near the castle or you can..." Strike raised his hand and gestured Knightin Gale to stop. "The game is to win by numbers; Enemies' or allies' lives are lives. Good or bad people are still people. Not by blood, name, the belief we all are the same deep inside. Am I wrong Knightin Gale?" Knightin Gale was speechless for a moment.

"So, where do we start?" Knightin Gale asked. That sentence stunned Strike. "What do you mean to start? The game is over loser is not worthy" Strike said in disappointment. Knightin Gale hid her laugh and said, "I'm not talking about the game dummy". "Did you say that I'm dumb?" Strike doesn't like being misjudged. Knightin Gale continued, "Can you let me finish!? ...Okay ... I was talking about where to start the journey to end the war". Strike replied gladly "Well, I do know something we both know. The final destination is Auslika Island". Knightin Gale agreed and replied. "My team will be at the Zornd Bay in 2 to 3 days. We'll go to the Jweyine island, then come back forth to Blastrik and go to Grand Lagoon. So we can make a temporary camp and lead a successful plan". So the journey began to end a war that tends to disturb the peace of seven centuries.
