1: A Rogues Endeavour (1/3)

In the galaxy, Andromeda lies nine planets, but there is more than meets the eye, for everything, there is a dark or twisted version, and as a matter of fact... They all have a dark side.

The streets were deserted, and the only active things are the automated cars that escort the people of Zyber, in the planet like many others have a law and it is a mandatory law at best. "All residents of Zyber must be equipped with genetically enhanced upgrades implanted into their bodies." Many accepted it and lived happily while others retaliated and spent their lives on the run or in prison cells. "Is this planet even spineless anymore?! Our founders didn't want us to be brave! They wanted us to be machined in their control!!" With many people on the run or suffering in the dark, fallen order would not be wise to take action... Except for this one.

Thug: Did you hear about the news?! They're taking the prisoners and forcing them to have the upgrades, whether they like it or not!

Thug 2: I tell ya! This city will be the death of us! It will take a miracle for this city to have hope... Oh crap, they're here! How'd they found us?!

The thugs tried to escape but were cornered by Xinthose Authority. "you have not been given an upgrade... Come with us or suffer the con..." An unknown figure with an unstable Arkomanan blade attacked the authority, leaving their corpse on display. The figure approached one of them, "you said something about forced upgrades! Talk!" He turned off his blade and walked away from them after receiving intel, "you should go to this man, it's not safe here." He vanished into thin air only leaving a coin to a man named 'Dr Viktor Blitz'.

The figure looked at the city from one of the skyscrapers, "Doc, got more people that need protection... I'm going to look for a lab near Xinthose... They are going to force the upgrades on them." Viktor laughed, "well they can't help themselves when they need lab rats to test out their new concoction... Missy found some radio interference at your location just now... Now, what do you say?" The figure sighed and said, "thank you, Missy... You are still the best girl I know." Missy laughed, "Dad, you didn't have to tell Erin to say thanks... But I do appreciate your comments, Erin." Viktor laughed, "well if this kid going to be my son-in-law then he has to prove that he is worthy of dating my daughter."

"Missy I need you to do me a favour, I found this clue to an old student who survived that night... (Clears throat) sorry, he's rumoured to be the 'Carrier of the 300'. If we find him then we are guaranteed to get control of the city." Missy felt that what Erin requested was pointless but she loved him too much that she agreed, "thanks, Missy... I have to go now... Love you." Erin hung up and got to work, he found a prison cell that had many of the prisoners looking drugged as they were in a happy stance, he hid when one of the guards appeared, "alright sissies!! It's time for your upgrades..." They all got up except for one, this infuriated the guard, "HEY DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ME?! I SAID ITS TIME FOR YOUR UPGRADE NOW DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD AND GET UP!!"

The guard was about to hit the prisoner until Erin jumped in and slaughtered his head, he made sure that the guard's blood didn't catch on the outfit, and Erin told all of them to shush as he dressed up as a guard.

He told them all to stand up and leave for the upgrades, the one who disobeyed the previous guard asked what he was doing, "in trying to get you all out... Trust me when I say that I have a plan... And it's chaotic as it was suggested." An explosion occurred that left all the guards dashing in its direction, "okay Erin it's ready whenever you are." Erin took out a teleporter and activated it, all of the prisoners went through the teleporter leaving Erin to find his escape as it deactivated and exploded. "Good job, now get out of there ASAP!" He found himself trapped behind the walls as they were coming closer, Erin took off his mask, showing his two eyes, one forest green while the other was a combination of green and blue and there was a scar next to his left eye. He didn't know why he took his mask off so he put it back on, only to find an escape route had just opened. "Erin! What's your status? Have you escaped?" Erin replied, "that's a negative, I'm still in the building... Vik... You're not going to believe me..." Erin found a whole database that was connected to other people from different planets... He found a report about a mysterious artefact, "The Xypher... What's that?" He took the report and some of the information and fled into the vents, only to find himself at the edge of the building, 6 feet high, the authority found him and left him no choice but to jump, they chased him only to fail and most of their ranks died from the collision. Erin jumped face-first into a car, it made noise as it was damaged, Erin was too weak to stand up but then a black car appeared and grabbed Erin and put him into the trunk.
