"Honey, wake up it's time for school!"

"Oh...ok..."

Rex gets up preparing for a normal day at school. His step-dad is making eggs and bacon with pancakes. He gets up with his step-brother to brush his teeth.

"Isn't it weird that we became brothers only 2 years ago?"

"Yea it is."

They were washing their teeth with the super scrubber(an automatic toothbrush) and talking about their past. Rex's parents left for a trip when he was 17 and never came back, dying in a flying-car accident.

After his best friend Aemulus heard the news, he told his parents and they took him in as his brother. They have known each other since sixth grade and now in the last few days of their high-school senior year. 

Rex was a lightskin with a curly afro. 6"1 being pretty skinny with hazel eyes. He always has an easy-going look in his eyes. Elf-like ears with a flat nose. A pretty light mustache over the mouth.

Aemulus was is a darkskin with 360 flat waves. 6"0 being bulky with dark brown eyes. He has sharp look in his eyes. Round ears and a short nose. He was a dark mustache and a light beard.

Rex and Aemulus went to school not knowing what would come next. They got their final test grades, Rex was always the smarter one of the two. While Aemulus was always the stronger.

"I got an 82," said Aemulus

"Phhft... I got a 95," Rex replied, "It's about to be lunch in a few minutes. Mom let me borrow some extra lunch money so I can gey the chicken wings"

"Lucky!," Aemulus exclaimed, "You know you could have bought a small bag of chips for a dollar in 2015"

"You should have called those people lucky, they cost like 7 dollars now," Rex said, " I mean they were poorer, The richest person only had a few billion, our family almost has a quadrillion!"

"We aaarrrrrrrreeeeeee high class though!"

The bell was ringing.

"You can go to your lunch now class," said the math teacher as Rex and Aemulus strolled towards the cafeteria.

"The year is 4530 and it's way better than 2400 years ago," said Rex, "2123 was the first year with hoverboards. Now they can go really fast!" 

They were coming to their table. Rex was munching on some chicken wings and Aemulus was chewing and some homemade chili dogs.

After they were done eating Rex went to throw his trash out, he was licking his fingers

"Gross.."

"Who said that?" Rex thought

Before he knew it he was being sucked up into a portal.

"REX!" Aemulus called out.

It was too late. Rex was already gone when Aemulus took action. When Rex when in the portal he yelled "LET ME FREE!"

"No, I can't do that yet, I need you to do something important"

"Huh?"

Before long Rex was in front of a town, built with wood and other materials. No streetlights, he heard the wind blowing as he sees everyone partying with rum in their hands. 

"Let us enjoy these next years before the war!" a drunk said.

Everyone cheered and danced and sang, it was a party.

"Where am I?" Rex wondered

"Proelli," the mysterious ghost-like figure said.
