Preparations For The Central Base

The Next Day

After last night’s battle Leo sets up camp while the others were knocked out and slept in. When Chozen and Suki wake up they go to Leo’s tent. “LEO WAKE UP!!!” Chozen and Suki shouts. Leo wakes up and accidentally headbuts Chozen as he sits up. “FUCK!!!” Chozen shouts as he gets hit. “What happened last night?” Suki asked. Leo pushes Suki and Chozen out of the way and leaves his tent. “Tell me. What happened last night?” Suki said. Leo summons a dagger and throws it at Suki but she catches it. “What the hell Leo?” Suki said. “That’s what happened last night. You threw a kunai at the Shinobi when I was able to talk with him.” Leo said. “I did what I had to do.” Suki said. “What you had to do? WHAT YOU HAD TO DO?!!! IF YOU ACTUALLY STOPPED FOR A SECOND AND REALIZE THAT I WAS FINE BY MYSELF WE WOULD’VE HAD HIM AS OUR ALLY!!! BUT NO, YOU AND CHOZEN HAD TO TAG TEAM HIM FOR YOUR FUCKING REVENGE!!!” Leo yells. Suki scoffs and throws the dagger back to Leo. “Leo calm down.” Chozen said. “No fuck you Chozen. You wanted me to be as good as Soichiro but you’re not even remotely close to him. You guys won’t even admit it but you two are the reason Soichiro left.” Leo said. Suki attempts to punch Leo but he catches her fist and twists her arm. Chozen then tries to punch Leo but he also catches the fist and twists his arm. Leo kicks their backs putting them on their knees. Chozen then summons his wings and sweeps Leo off his feet. Everyone stands up and summons their weapons. “Are you sure you wanna do this?” Leo asked. “No. But we have to settle this.” Suki said. “If we win, we lead this group.” Chozen said. “But if you lose, you follow my orders.” Leo said. Suki and Chozen dash towards Leo and Leo stabs his daggers into the ground, a wall comes out of it and Chozen and Suki crash into it. Leo then electrifies the wall electrocuting Chozen and Suki. The wall goes back into the ground and Leo stands over Chozen and Suki. “Wanna surrender?” Leo asked. Suki grabs Leo’s leg, pulls it bringing Leo to the ground and twists his foot. Suki and Chozen get up and stand over Leo. “Looks like the tables have turned.” Suki said. “Not yet.” Leo said under his breath. Leo on the ground slaps his palms together, puts his hands on the ground and says “Earth Style: Shockwave.” A shockwave knocks down Chozen and Suki while Leo sits up. “What the hell are we doing?” Leo tiredly said. “We’re fighting each other for leadership.” Suki said. “But for what point? We work best when we are equal. No leader.” Chozen said. “I’m sorry about last night. You were right.” Suki said. “It’s fine. What’s done is done.” Leo said. “Leo, what happened last night?” Chozen asked.

Last Night

Leo dragged Chozen and Suki out of the base after the Shinobi of light left. Leo gets Chozen and Suki far away from the base and then he goes back to the base, slaps his palms together, puts his hands on the ground and says “Earth Style: Rumbling.” The ground begins to rumble and the base falls to pieces. Leo then leaves and sets up camp. After Leo puts Chozen and Suki in their tents he sits in front of the fire to think. “His voice. It sounded like Soichiro. But there’s no way Soichiro would hurt us. Yet he knew my name when I didn’t tell him.” Leo thought. “If he turned into this then it must be because of them.” Leo thought, looking at Chozen and Suki’s tents. Leo summons a dagger, angrily throws it at a tree, looks up to the sky and says to the gods “You cruel manipulative bastards. This is just a game to all of you. He didn’t deserve this, to hurt the people he cares for. He followed your fucking prophecy and you still allowed for this to happen. What’s it gonna take, you don’t follow the prophecy you lose but you follow it AND YOU STILL LOSE!!! What’s the point? What’s the fucking point?”

Present

“Is all that happened last night?” Chozen asked. “Yea that’s all.” Leo lied. Leo decided to keep the Shinobi of Light's identity to himself because he wasn’t sure if the Shinobi was Soichiro. After the trio made up they packed up camp and set off into the woods.

1 Hour Later

After exploring through the woods the trio finds a good spot to train. “Alright, what do we do?” Suki asks. “Here’s what we're gonna do. Chozen, you go practice that form you got when we were fighting the dragon. Suki, you practice your skills with the trident. And for me,I’m going to practice using different elements.” Leo explained. The trio splits up to practice. Leo slaps his palms together and puts his hands on a tree. “Imagine the tree getting smaller.” Leo thought. A branch goes back into the tree. “Alright now let me try to disintegrate it.” Leo thought. Leo begins to imagine the tree disintegrating and it explodes into many tiny pieces. “Shit. Is everyone ok?” Leo asked over coms. “I’m good but what happened?” Suki asked. “I blew up a tree and it shot shards of wood everywhere.” Leo said. “You're an idiot, you should’ve practiced on a branch instead of an entire tree.” Suki said.

While Chozen was over hearing Leo and Suki he was practicing his rage form. Chozen kept trying to make his katana red but with every attempt it seemed like he was getting farther and farther away from making it red. Chozen then dug deep into his memory trying to make himself angry. Chozen then remembers his fight with the shinigami that killed him. Chozen then hears Leo’s voice in his head and it said “Soichiro left and it was all on you.” “It’s not my fault. He left because he was under too much pressure.” Chozen said. “That’s what you tell yourself. But deep down you know you were the reason he left.” Chozen heard in his head. “Get out of my head.” Chozen said. “Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head.” Chozen kept saying. “GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!” Chozen shouted. Chozen’s eyes turn red, he gets a red glow and as Chozen unsheathes his katana it turns red. Chozen then slashes a tree in half and it disintegrates. Chozen then sheaths his katana and he goes back to normal. “Holy shit I actually did it.” Chozen thought. Chozen then tries to turn back into that form. “In fearful day, in hopeless night, my proud soul shall burn throughout the night, let those who try to stop what’s right, beware my power, KINGSGLAIVE’S MIGHT!!!” Chozen then turns back into his rage form. Chozen then turned back to normal on command.

After Suki scolded Leo she practices her powers with the trident of the oracle. Suki stabs the bottom of the trident into the ground and the trident begins to electrify. A circle of electricity forms around Suki and then armor of electricity forms around Suki’s body. Suki then pulls the trident out of the ground, throws it into a tree and the tree gets burned. The armor then disappears. “Alright that’s good. Now it's time to try another element.” Suki thought. Suki starts to spin her trident and she spins it faster with every turn. As Suki spins the trident leaves and branches push away from Suki. Suki then stops spinning the trident. “Looks like if I spin the trident I can cause a powerful gust of wind.” Suki thought. Suki then spins the trident again and a tornado forms out of the trident and everything in front of Suki  pushes away from her. Suki then stops spinning the trident again. “Alright everyone have you made good progress?” Suki asked. “Yea.” Leo and Chozen answered. “Good let’s stop for the night.” Suki said.

Night Time

After hours of training the trio sets up camp. “How did your guy’s training go?” Leo asked. “It went pretty well. I managed to use a new electric form and some new wind moves with the trident.” Suki said. “That’s great to hear. What about you Chozen?” Leo asked. “I would say it went well. I managed to control the form I got in the dragon’s den.” Chozen said. “That’s perfect but do you have a name for it?” Leo asks. “I've decided to call it my Kingsglaive form.” Chozen said. “Has a nice ring to it.” Leo said. “Alright guys, it’s time to get a good night's rest because tomorrow we destroy the central base of this region.”
