Awoken

I slowly opened my eyes, the first thing I noticed is that I no longer felt hunger,all my fatigue was gone and I no longer felt pain infact I was feeling great .

But I was still in this hell of a place. at that time I couldn't remember anything about what had happened before so I continued my aimless walking .I only realised after a few days that I wasn't getting hungry or leg injury at all; that's when it first happened  flashes from a memory started appearing in my head every day .

During my time lost I would often  ravage corpses for anything useful and if I got lucky I would even find money sometimes I would sleep in one of the old broken  huts or simply on the ground I would sometimes find food scrap on the fallen soldiers to eat keep my self sane ,the war was at its end all was leftover was death.

After around two months of walking I started to see signs of vegetation and less of war ,from the beginning of my journey I would always move east were rumours of green lush lands untouched by war- a true paradise-. I had never believed such things but now they seem true I eventually reached a fence as only high as my knee there were strange writings spread all over it.

It seemed to be some sort of array but I couldn't understand anything.

I decided to just cross over ,as I my foot tried to get over the other side an unknown power struck down my foot and this time I actually felt the pain and let out a scream when suddenly an intense pain in my head appeared and I once more fell.
