Shooting Stars?

Ane fell down a waterfall to then get up abruptly and wearingly walk up it. The boy sat across Conner who was filing his nails and sighed. "Oh, you're back." Conner joked laughing. Ane's eyes twitched.

"You're just slacking off! At least give me a hint to help me develop this move!" Ane yelled; folding his arms.

"Hey now...no sulking." Conner said chuckling. Ane groaned and his uncle exhaled to then raise one finger. "Tell me; what are the elements to observe in a fight?" he asked. Ane held his chin thoughtfully.

"You need to observe the person's element, fighting style, elemental power, speed." the boy began but Conner held up a palm.

"What is the most important element to observe? That is what you should truly know." Conner stated.

"The most important." Ane thought whilst closing his eyes. "They all are as important as another!" Ane yelled opening his eyes. Conner addressed his nephew to come closer and the boy obeyed. 

"You dumbass!" Conner shouted into Ane's ear making the teen scream in pain while rolling away; holding his ears.

"What the hell man!?" Ane asked frowning. Conner shook his head.

"Tis tis tis." he said.

"What is it you old man?" Ane growled. Conner pointed.

"The most important element in a fight to note is strategy. You and your opponent develop this using ALL the other now minor elements. This is why strategy is superior to all." Conner explained. Ane blinked and then sighed.

"Strategy, huh?" he whispered. "How does this help me to learn this ability though!?" he then scolded to see Conner fast asleep.

Ane watched Rianna in present time and landed on the roof with a grin. "I see now. You dumb uncle  of mine." he whispered. Rianna tilted her head aside. Ane folded his hands thoughtfully. "Let's see. She has as much strength as me but her body isn't that durable although she can keep up with my speed." he thought. Ane then recalled slamming his head into Rianna's. "I got it." he said snapping his fingers.

"No "strategy" will help you. Resistance is pointless." Rianna said. Ane laughed.

"She can keep up with my speed, yes....but that doesn't mean she can actually move as fast as me." he thought; grinning before flashing to the cyborg and firing his fist at her face which he shielded. "Dumbass!" Ane yelled before kicking her from the side; flinging her away. Rianna's left arm stretched to the side of the railing as she was about to fall off and Ane shattered the limb as he dashed forward. "Now then." Ane remarked as he pulled Rianna to him and punched her out of sight. Ane exhaled. "Lana's gonna kill me." he said as he fell back; onto the ground.

"So she really returned to you, huh." a male voice remarked. Ane opened his eyes and quickly flipped to his feet.

"This feels...nostalgic." he thought as he watched before him where The Hooded Figure stood.

"Look at you now Ane...so weak and pathetic." THF remarked laughing.

"Who the hell are you!?" Ane asked frowning.

"Your death bringer." THF replied as he seemed to flash to Ane; punching the teen in the stomach. Spit flung from Ane's mouth before he himself flung into the air.

"Shit, this guy's strong." he thought as he watched forward to see the masked man's fist. Ane ducked in midair and fired a kick which THF held to then barrage Ane with punches. The final blow was to the boy's chin which caused him to spin off. Ane maneuvered to his feet in midair and then flew off.

"Is that all? One futile dodge?" THF questioned shrugging as he stared at Ane; motionlessly. Ane suddenly lost sight of the figure and sighed in relief. "Don't be so sure of yourself boy!" THF yelled as he appeared in front of Ane; red elemental energy flowing from him and dragon eye's glowing and staring down ominously at Ane. THF kicked Ane in the face and the boy clenched his teeth as red elemental energy spat from his body as well. The auras clashed as Ane held his ground to then punch THF in his stomach. Ane grinned. "Oops, spaced out." THF said as he fired a punch which Ane ducked. The opponents then barraged punches at one another as they flew across the sky; blows constantly clashing. Lana, Eina and Ene were in Ane's house.

"Where's Ane? I haven't seen him whole day. Not in school and now he isn't home either." Lana inquired; pouting.

"Probably with some girl hooking up." Ene teased; yawning. Eina frowned at him and he backed away. They all then sensed strong elemental energy as their bodies thumped.

"That's...Ane's energy ant the other....it's so familiar." Eina thought.

"What is that other intense elemental energy?" Ene inquired. Lana watched out the window where the elemental energies flew past in the sky. She then eyed the others who noticed as well and they all nodded knowingly. 

A young girl looked out a car window.

"Look mommy. Two shooting stars." she said innocently pointing at the two elemental energies clashing constantly as they flashed by.

"What in tarnation?" the girl's father asked as he stared.

Ane and THF landed on some huge hills. Ane was panting. "I'm impressed you could keep up." THF remarked laughing. Ane frowned and his friends landed next to him.

"Yo bro. Can we get an explanation?" Ene asked.

"My explanation wouldn't make a difference counting the fact that this masked hoodlum just randomly attacked me." Ane replied. Lana frowned at THF.

"It's a shame really; Ane." THF remarked laughing. Ane eyed him. "You're so pitiful that you have no idea who I am and also not to mention the fact that you have such...PATHETIC "friends" that won't be able to do shit to aid you!" THF squealed; laughing. Ene's body set ablaze.

"Oh?" THF asked; watching Ene.

"I'm gonna burn you to a crisp." Ene yelled before spitting fire at THF who stood there casually. Ene stopped; grinning.

"It seems you're resisting a dark and powerful power from leaking from you. Now that's just childish and dumb altogether." THF said. Ene looked shocked as THF was standing in the same spot calmly; watching Ene with his dragon eyes gleaming. Ene's body thumped and he fell to the ground.

"My body...won't move." he thought.

"Couldn't keep up, huh." THF remarked from behind Ene where Ane punched the figure in the face. The mask lunged Ane away. "That's too bad. I thought I would finally be free of this mask too." THF said; sighing.

"You bastard!" Eina yelled swiping at THF'S feet and the man simply jumped over it to then see Lana spin and kick him away. THF spun away and effortlessly landed on his feet silently. The girls frowned at him as his cloak flew away revealing his black leather jeans and shirt.

"Ane, Ene...you two okay?" Lana asked.

"I guess." Ane answered slowly; sitting up.

"Well I've been better." Ene said as he weakly stood.

"I'm surprised you can stand but at the end...it makes no difference." The Masked Man said(since he has no hood again; he'll be referred to as The Masked Man or MM for short from now on). Ane punched him away.

"Stay out of this Ene!" Ane yelled.

"Why?" Ene inquired.

"Your flames seem to have no effect on him." Ane replied. Ene said nothing and Ane nodded.

"Don't worry. I'll take this guy out!" Ane promised with a grin to then be uppercutted.

"What a joke!" MM yelled laughing as he kicked the boy away. "Can I at least get to use my powers!?" he said after; watching around mockingly.

"This guy." Eina growled frowning.

"What is it, Eina? Nostalgic?" MM asked laughing.

"Do you know this guy?" Lana inquired whilst watching Eina who stood there; eyes shielded.

"I...don't know." Eina replied holding her face as tears fell down.

"It's okay if you don't remember. All of us have things we'd rather forget." Lana remarked kindly.

"So why don't you girls run along? I'm feeling...charitable today." MM said; glaring at the girls.

"Shut up!" Ane yelled as he stepped forward; wiping his mouth. "They're gonna experience me kicking your ass firsthand!" he growled; punching his palm. MM cackled.

"You sure talk big for one so weak...ANE!" MM screeched while eying Ane who frowned in response.
