Ane VS The Masked Man

Ane rushed MM and fired a punch which MM sidestepped and Ane immediately swept at the figure's feet. MM flipped over Ane and grabbed the teen's arms before slamming him into the ground. Ane punched the ground to prevent himself from slamming into it to then fire his legs at MM's face but the man fell back to avoid said attack before kicking Ane away. The boy immediately rolled to his feet and MM yawned while Ane eyed him; panting. "How does this guy predict all my moves?" Ane thought to then see water blast at MM. The figure's dragon eyes turned to the attack just before the man flipped above the attack. "I think I get it." Ane thought smiling.

"Are you okay Ane?" Lana asked as she ran to the boy.

"Yeah. Step back; I've got this covered now." Ane replied as he nudged the girl back.

"But..." Lana began.

"I'll be okay. I promised I'd beat this guy didn't I?" Ane interrupted; smiling at Lana.

"You keep saying such cheerful things which we both know isn't true. Your fate is to be currently destroyed by me." MM said; pointing at himself. Ane's eyes were shielded and MM laughed cockily to then see Ane appear before him. Ane fired a punch which MM held. "It's use.." MM began to receive a kick in the neck. The figure spun aside and watched Ane.

"Don't get too cocky." Ane said while watching back; dragon eyes activated. MM laughed.

"Well then." he remarked as he pounced on Ane who ducked the punch to then swipe at MM's feet but the figure flipped over Ane's foot to then grab the teen's collar and attempt to slam him. Ane wiggled out of MM's grasp who then went flipping upwards. Ane jumped into the air after MM and fired a kick which the figure blocked and Ane then grabbed MM's legs and planted the man into the ground; headfirst. The ground shattered from the attack and MM immediately spun; kicking Ane back but Ane spun to his feet halfway through the air. "So it seems you can use the eyes. I'm guessing this is Conner's doing." MM said; eying Ane.

"So you know my uncle then?" Ane asked raising an eyebrow. MM laughed.

"You really are as clueless and ignorant as they come." he remarked with a shrug; his eyes gleaming.

"Are you implying something?" Ane questioned.

"It's a shame that's all Conner taught you before you went up against me." MM said.

"Well that's not all." Ane said grinning.

"Oh?" MM asked as two curved swords similar to cutlasses but thinner appeared in both hands; one in each. "It's about time I end this!" he yelled viciously.

"You should rephrase that." Ane said as his red aura pounced around him. Wind blew across the area as the aura seemed to concentrate into his hand. MM shot forward at Ane who fired his fist. MM laughed as he went below Ane's fist. Ane's strength pulled his fist down and into MM's back; hitting the man into the ground. Spit flung from within the mask.

"Did he...plan that attack?" MM thought as Ane tripped over him. MM dove away and glared at Ane.

"Oh man!" Ane thought; sitting up and folding his arms with a frown. "I can't have everyone knowing my attack was half baked though." he continued thinking as he played in his hair nervously.

"What's the name of that attack?" MM asked; folding his arms. Ane turned to him; standing up.

"Ground Pound!" Ane yelled doing a thumbs up while smiling nervously.

"He totally screwed up!" Ene thought; chuckling silently.

"Ane's proving to be a real pain. Damn this stupid mask." MM thought laughing crazily. Ane stared blankly at the man.

"Is this guy also not sane like all these other guys?" he thought blinking. He shrugged.

"ANE!" Sid's voice echoed throughout the hills. Ane watched up and saw Sid flying down. The newcomer landed and pulled Ane back while frowning at MM. "I wouldn't have thought he'd attack Ane so soon after." Sid thought.

"If it isn't the coward!?" MM teased cackling.

"Coward?" Ane thought; tilting his head. Sid's eyes were shielded.

"Hey Sid. Why're here?" Ene asked from the back.

"I came to tell Ane some...news." Sid replied.

"News? Did that uncle of mine do something extremely dumb...like usual?" Ane asked folding his arms. Sid shook his head slowly.

"Conner's dead." he remarked. Ane smiled.

"This isn't the time for jokes." he said as he looked at Sid who was close to tears.

"It's no joke!" Sid yelled shaking his head. "That bastard with the mask killed Conner and all I could do...was watch." he continued; crying as he fell to his knees.

"Oh." Ane said softly; eyes shielded. The crimson aura burst around him as he stood there motionlessly.

"This might be a problem." MM thought as he rushed Ane; his blades ready. MM slashed at the teen who held the blades before eying the figure with a bone chilling look. MM jumped back and Ane stood there silently.

Ane opened his eyes to the dragon's cage. The dragon opened it's eyes as well; causing the water to spit to the room's sides as waves rushed across the area. A grin spread across the cage. "So that bastard finally got killed." the dragon remarked. Ane frowned and stood up.

"What do you mean by finally!" he yelled furiously; his aura bursting from him.

"That man was a thorn in my side for a long time." the dragon remarked as it's claw poked out from the cage and was inches from Ane's face. "Oh?" the dragon asked it's grin growing. "So you're so angry that your anger eve casted away your fear. How amusing!" the dragon boomed; laughing. Ane eyed the dragon furiously and the dragon poked the teen's head. Ane's eyes rolled back.

A grown Ane looked at the earth calmly; his eyes those of the dragon. Present Ane was spiritually observing him. "This isn't how the original Ane looks but how you and your other half perceive him." the dragon's voice echoed.

"Other piece?" Ane thought to then get a flash of the boy holding Lana. "Oh so that's how it is." he whispered.

"Ane." Conner's voice called. Both Anes turned and saw their uncle standing there frowning. The original Ane smirked.

"So you're responsible for those maniacs sealing me so abruptly but unfortunately your nephew still isn't in control." the dragon remarked through OG Ane.

"I have no reason to speak to you." Conner replied.

"Well that's rather unfortunate." the dragon said laughing.

"But if I have no other choice." Conner said as his shadow sipped from him to then dive at OG Ane who stepped aside. Mist spat from the shadow's jaw as it stood besides OG Ane. 

"What the.." Ane began to be punched in the stomach by Conner which then forced him to inhale the mist. OG Ane jumped back and grinned. "A distraction huh, Conner. You're gonna have to go..." he began before his body thumped as his eyes dimmed. Conner folded his arms as he eyed OG Ane who frowned as the shadow chuckled.

"Let's end this streak of yours, eh?" Conner remarked as he pulled out a shining crystal; half black and half red from a tiny black hole which appeared. OG Ane smiled.

"You....bastard. Is that....the...." he slurred.

"Yes, it is the Separation Crystal." Conner stated as his shadow grinned as he approached Ane who tried to punch but his body flailed uselessly. "It's useless." Conner said as he slashed at the original Ane.

"DAMN YOU....CONNER!" the dragon screamed as light spat across the area.

Present Ane lay on the water; smiling. "Well he sure showed you!" he yelled grinning as he sat up.

"Yeah...just as how that masked guy taught him." the dragon replied. Ane's expressions changed completely and he watched the dragon in despair. "Nothing that precious uncle of yours did matters anymore." the dragon remarked laughing at it seemed to stepped closer; smirking. "That all can change though...if you allow me to help." he remarked as his aura sipped from him to Ane.

Ane stood still; the crimson aura around him. His teeth turned to fangs and his nails to claws as his body slightly grew and he roared an ear-piercing roar. The ground cracked and he watched MM with a vicious look.
