Chapter 3:

The day I woke up

Well i be able to save the orphanage?

Suddenly I woke up in a strange room that I didn't recognize. The walls were made of stone as was the floor. The room was a Little, damp and dark. Thanks to a candle that burned calmly and innocently, I could see where I was. I was lying in a bed that wasn't very comfortable. The mattress was made of straw or rather sayd the mattress was a large bag filled with straw. The pillow was ....... I don't know if I can describe it as a pillow it was a ball of rags stuffed in a bag. The blanket I was covered with was old with holes and had a strange smell. I think it was made of wool, it certainly had better days. To the right was a wooden door that barely stood. To my left was a time-worn table with the candle burning in the dark room. At the foot of the table was an old leather bag. I didn't recognize it but i knew it was mine. I tried to get out of bed to grab the bag and look in it. The first time I tried, I felt dizzy and had to lie down again. Suddenly I began to hear small, fast steps. Smiling, I wondered what level of hell I had reached this time. Contrary to my expectations, the door was opened by a little girl aged betwen 8-10 years. She was dressed in a white dress. I unwittingly asked her, "Are you my guardian angel?" In a language I had never heard before, the girl began to shout, while she ran out of the room.Managing to get out of bed I reached out and took the bag even though I didn't know what was in it I knew it was something valuable. Opening it, I saw a bronze dagger and 4 bags inside. 3 of the bags had pepper seeds each bag with another type of pepper the first had black pepper seeds the second red pepper and the third white pepper the fourth bag was with mustard seeds. I could say that each weighed about 400g . Putting the small bags back în the bag, I lay back in bed Not long after, a beautiful young woman entered the door. Her hair was as golden as wheat, and her eyes were sapphire blue, in other words, she was more than beautiful she was gorgeous. When she  asked me something in the same strange language that a little girl spoke, I didn't understand anything. Realizing that I don't understand anything with a warm and sincere smile, she points her finger at herself and says Miria, pointing to me, I realized that that is her name and now she asks me my name and I say with a trambeling voice Haric. She took me by the hand and helped me get out of bed with her badly worked and wefty hand. Although it was not pleasant to the touch for a long time, I did not feel a person's warmth and compassion. She looked into my eyes and with a smile pointed to the door signifying that she wanted us to leave the room. Helping me walk I ended up in a large room with many tables and chairs There were twenty children twelve boys and eight girls. The eldest child there was a 15-year-old girl, all laughing at a large table and eagerly eating a bowl of vegetable soup with bread. The woman pointed to the table, telling me to sit down and she put a bowl of soup that the children ate and some bread in front of me. Taking a spoonful of the soup I noticed that it did not taste too pleasant. There was no salt and other ingredients to give the soup a good taste. I bit into the piece of bread and noticed that it was hard and it didn't taste good either. Out of respect for the woman and the children, I started eating, although I didn't like it very much. After everyone finished eating Miria and the 15 year old girl gathered all the bowls on the table and took them to what I assume was a kitchen to wash them after that Miria took my hand and led me back to the room where I woke up. I reached the room and went to bed exhausted. She extinguished the candle not long after I fell asleep.
