Science Fair

"Ane; hey Ane. Wake up!" Lana's voice echoed. Ane slowly opened his eyes to the girl sitting atop him and went red.

"What are you doing?" he whispered.

"What do you mean?" Lana inquired with a risen eyebrow.

"Oh fuck. Does she know about my date with the other girls? Does she know I kissed Mandy and Lisa? Does she know I know Lisa!? OR IS..." Ane thought; sweating intensely.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten you told me wo wake you up today. You said you had an important elemental mission today." Lana remarked.

"Oh right!" Ane yelled as he jolted up; his head bumping into Lana's.

"Owwww." the girl said; rubbing her forehead.

"I'm so sorry!" Ane shouted and Lana pouted in response. He rubbed her forehead subconsciously and she blushed as she stared at him. His eyes fell into hers and she got off him nervously.

"W-well hurry on with your mission." Lana stammered. Ane smiled and nodded.

"Ughhhhh." Ene groaned as he walked alongside Ane. "How'd I get dragged along on this "mission"." he complained; dragging himself on.

"Why are you complaining so much?" Ane inquired.

"Well I don't know, maybe because it's freaking Saturday and I'm going....to....school!" Ene cried.

"Well we took a day off yesterday counting the fact the school's under construction after that rooftop fight." Eina remarked as the boys walked to her at the school gate.

"So why is the fair still taking place in the school if it's too damaged for classes?" Ane asked.

"It was too late to change the location and would prove too costly to cancel." Eina replied as they entered the school. "It's just lower down here." she stated.

"We can see that." Ene said sulkily. Eina rolled her eyes at him.

"Quit your pointless nagging." she scolded.

"You do remember the strategy right?" Ane inquired to Ene.

"Yeah yeah." the boy responded. The teens entered a room; other teens flooding all around the area.

"This place is packed." Ane stated.

"With nerds." Ene joked; chuckling. Eina eyed him and he looked away; whistling.

"I'm guessing I can leave the rest to you two?" Eina asked. The boys nodded.

"Before you go. Who's Elliot?" Ene asked.

"Blonde hair, glasses, baby blue eyes." Eina replied as she turned away. "I'm sure you'll know him Ane." she added.

"Sounds like your type of guy." Ene teased. Eina glared at him and stomped off.

"Maybe you overdid it." Ane whispered.

"Yeahhhh, I might always act so idiotic but I guess I should have at least recognized that name; Elliot Stampy." Ene responded; folding his arms and nodding. Ane rose an eyebrow at his best friend who sighed. "There's a theory going around school that Elliot is as smart as our lovely Eina; even smarter. I guess she takes it personal." Ene explained.

"Smarter than Eina? Is that so?" Ane asked; holding his chin thoughtfully and his eyes then fell upon Elliot who was wearing the school attire and sitting silently next to some covered objects; hands cojoined under his chin and glasses shading his eyes. "There he is." Ane whispered.

"What a nerd. Likes school so much he's still wearing the uniform on a Saturday." Ene whispered.

"Or maybe he can't afford other clothes?" Ane suggested. One of Elliot's eyes became visible and he was staring back at Ane and Ene. "What's up with the staring? I mean we were doing it first but still." Ane thought. Elliot smirked at the duo.

"What the hell was that?" Ene whispered; frowning.

"We should walk about." Ane said. Ene nodded and the two split up.

Elliot turned to Eina who was staring right at him and the two eyed one another intently.

"Those two are giving each other the stink eye again." a boy remarked as Ane passed near him.

"Is he talking about Eina and Elliot?" Ane thought; turning back around to see the two glaring at one another.

"Ok; it's time for the science fair to begin!" a man announced. Ane and Ene eyed one another and nodded.

Ane and Ene were fast asleep next to each other and Eina frowned before stomping on their feet. "So boring!" Ane blurted as he shot awake.

"Kill me please!" Ene begged as he too woke up suddenly. 

"You idiots!" Eina scolded.

"Wait; did we miss the...?" Ane began.

"Luckily no." Eina remarked. "We're just on a break. They're gonna announce the last three inventions after." she explained.

"And I'm guessing..." Ene began.

"Elliot's invention will be the first of the three to be shown." Eina concluded.

"We're even finishing each other's..." Ene began as he approached Eina; his arms outstretched to receive a kick in the face from the girl.

"Well I'm going to pee now so you two idiots better stay awake." Eina scolded. Ane nodded; doing a thumbs up and grinning. Eina sighed and then left the room and Ene stood up; dusting himself.

"What an idiot." Ene remarked; shaking his head in disapproval.

"Who?" Ane asked.

"You." Ene answered bluntly.

"How am I an idiot?" Ane inquired; frowning.

"Eina's going unprotected into the toilet. Perfect window for Elliot to ambush her, no?" Ene queried gravely.

"Tsk. You could have stopped her too you know!" Ane scolded as he paced off. Ene's eyes then rolled up and he fell down onto the floor.

"Possession?" he thought as he lay there motionless. "Shit. This isn't good." he continued thinking as a council member stood over him.

"How pathetic." she remarked; laughing.

Ane was bolting through the hallway. "Where is she?" he asked as he took the corner to see a device similar to a gun directed to his face. Elliot was smirking behind the device before shooting.

"Possession." he remarked as Ane fell onto the ground. The teen looked up to see the clear sky. Ane sat up and watched around in confusion at the mass desert around him.

"Where am I?" he thought as he stood. The sand slightly rose and a male figure formed there. He was bald; had grey eyes and was wearing a brown and black robe with brown pants. "Who are you?" Ane inquired; jumping back.

"My name is Ron. You and I have both been possessed by Elliot." the man explained.

"So that's what's happening here." Ane thought with a frown. Rob rose a hand.

"In order to escape; we must KILL one another." the man yelled as his hand turned to a huge area of rocks which formed a palm and clasped Ane.

Eina was walking in the hallway to then suddenly stop and kick behind her. Ane got kicked back. "Ane?" she asked.

"Ow; why'd you do that?" the boy scolded.

"Sorry; I thought you were assaulting me." Eina said. Ane sighed.

"It's okay." he then said as he stood. Elliot was watching from the corner of the hall where he smirked and waltzed away without a word.
