CHAPTER - 0|| The restricted cave, where it all began

"Why?"

A voice, it was indeed foolish but there was a hint of cuteness in it.

"Because No! You can't go there, there is no answer beyond that which i am going to give so go to bed already"Frustrated, yet willingly his mom explained to him.

"Oh mom" 

The child wasn't willing to give up on his curiosity to explore a location which was alien to him, but now knowing nothing will work against his mother, not even his innocent voice, he let go...

 "Okay ma, I will not talk about visiting the cave again..."

"Of course you wouldn't, please grow up already Lex, No one has returned from that hideous place. Please do not talk about going to that cave anymore."

The mother was worried, his son who was 15 years old was talking about going into the place that is off-limits to all citizens.

Many didn't made it alive after going into the place.Some complained about that the place was 'seducing' them to come...

THE DARK CAVE WAS NO LESS MYSTERIOUS THAN THE SKY, SEA AND THE WORLD ITSELF
But the young man Lexis was dead set on visiting on that cave, Because he was curious.

Curiosity is a deadly thing, A dangerous State that can drive the curious person to even go to extreme lengths to satisfy his curiosity.

Yet it was clear as water from a fresh river that curiosity is what drove humans to build the fundamentals of civilization.
This thing was driving Lexis to visit the place which no one returned, His mother tried to stope him, His friends tried the same.

But he snuck there anyways...

A dark cave, on the entrance there were many shining Stones scattered everywhere... As if the place itself was shouting to be visited.

It was just behind the small mountain village of Lex.

"No regrets"

And there he goes ahead.A strong sense of adventure and romanticism filled into the mind of Lex,

Until it was all empty!!

It was clear that he was going to die... Lexis' mind was suddenly filled with dark and destroying thoughts as he realised that he wasn't walking anymore!

Lex was falling, into a eternity long hole, with nothing but darkness, mortified, he gave up on his foolish life.

The air had filled with fear that was enough to even kill a person itself. 

A second was as long as an hour.

He was falling into the joke of a death he willingly walked into, and now he was Experiencing what a true fear was.

The fear of losing your Life, indeed the greatest fear to a human, no other feeling can be as terrifying as death when you were finally  on the doorstep of one.

He was falling, and falling, and falling into the eternal darkness.

"Another one? My My, it has only been 38 years since a human was kind enough to visit us"

A VOICE!!

It was not a hallucination at the door of death.

It was a voice,"Well, who cares?"

Another!

"Not me"And another...

"Me neither"And More.

He was alive...Not falling but standing, facing voices, Strange voices in the depths of a truly terrifying Cave.

Not believing it, Lexis looked around, not being able to see a single thing, In a sudden state of confusion, his mind was rather questioning that was he in the afterlife!?

"No boy, You aren't in the afterlife, You are not dead"                                            The strange voice spoke, a deep voice that shook every single hair of this young boy.

"Ha ha, what a foolish boy"          

Another voice, Intimate enough to make a grown man cry...

"His future was, let's say, rather bright"

Lexis was in an extreme state of confusion, his human mind wasn't able to produce all of this.

"Married to a noble at the age of 17, He would've become a father to 6 kids and with his loving wife and the massive fortune he would've earned, lives a happy and a long, disease free life."

As if reading the future, The voices started to say these things, and to the suprise of Lex, he was convinced that it was, true.

A vicious aura was there, making Lexis believe every single word the voices say.

"He WOULD HAVE lived a good life, but No, as it turns out, this boy wouldn't be able to do that, kree kree kree kree"

"Listen mortal, you have two options..."

Producing all the unreal and bizarre stuff the voices were saying as truth, Lexis now was rather accepting of what will come to him.

This was a natural behaviour i suppose, Accepting was the only thing Lexis was able to do except dying from the sheer fear itself.

The voices continued,

"Option 1, You will give us 100 years of your rather successful life, and in return a special 'power' from us to use in the remaining of your life, which happens to be 6 years-"

Another voice interrupted,"This boy was destined to live 121 years, to bad, kree kree kree kree"

The original voice continued..."And the second option is, to die, right here right now"

"SO WHAT WILL YOU CHOOSE? LIFE OR DEATH..."

A wave of fear struck him, shaking intensively,mortally feared Young man Lexis was now forced to make a choice that was the direct result of his foolishness.

But being foolish is a part of a being a human, He wondered, trying to justify his own idiotic curiosity.

"I'll gladly give you my 100 years, I refuse to die, even if it means to only being able to live a fraction of what I was supposed to..."

Acceptance... surprisingly, he said it without being a little bit sad or depressing, not even a hint of regret was in his voice.

As if he was literally fighting with the fear, a major war broke out in his brain, War between the fear of losing life, the fear of unknown and his willpower...

He was trying his best not to regret his choices, as he even said to himself

 "No regrets, idiot!"

"Oh, What an interesting individual, trying to justify your actions?"The voices did meant to provoke him, It seems the nature of the voices were provoking in nature.

"Better not regret losing 100 years of your life Kid" 

AND THUS BEGINS THE STORY OF THE WANDERING WARRIOR THAT WANTS TO SATISFY HIS SOUL BEFORE HIS TIMES COMES TO AN END, THE STORY THAT MARKED A GREAT CHANGE IN THE DIRECTIONS OF THE ENTIRE WORLD.

2 YEARS LATER

A place far, far away from the mountain village.

"Ahh what time it is... Shit its way past noon, if i am going to sleep half a day, it will mean i am wasting my remaining life sleeping"

Lexis woke up, in a messy state.

THIS IS THE STORY OF FIGHTS, FRIENDSHIP AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THIS IS THE STORY OF A FOOLISH, CURIOUS HUMAN IN THE WONDERFUL WORLD FILLED WITH NOTHING BUT EXCITEMENT...COME ON, GATHER AROUND...
THIS IS THE STORY OF WARRIOR LEX THE LIGHTNING !!!!!!!
