Suddenly, as like it was out of nowhere, Spiritual Beasts, mysterious beings filled with spiritual energy attacked humanity, destroyed several countries one by one, teared humans apart and ate raw flesh for breakfast, that's when humans started learning Spiritual Energy to fight those horrible creatures.

The ones who fight Spiritual Beasts off are called "Spirit Fighters".

Spirit Fighter's power is measured by their Potential and Battle Spirit, for example, you can't go past 49 Battle Spirit if your Potential is D rank.

Spirit Fighters and Spiritual Beasts are also divided by ranks

S - 500 to 1000 BS

A - 250 to 499 BS

B - 100 to 249 BS

C - 50 to 99 BS

D - 25 to 49 BS

E - 10 to 24 BS

However, humans started dividing into factions and tearing each other apart sooner than they knew.
