[2086] The First Meeting

She definitely saw him. The lights went out, but she definitely saw him there… A tall man sitting on a rooftop, in front of an LCD screen. The surrounding city lights illuminated his silhouette, but not enough to make out the details.

He was a long-haired man, with well-toned muscles, but his figure and narrow hips were feminine. He probably had a pretty face, but nobody had ever met the man who called himself ‘Apaimanee’ face-to-face before.

He held a Thai oboe in his hands. It was called a pi, a rare traditional instrument.

That was how she saw him one month ago during his first appearance in February 2086, Buddhist calendar year 2629. The man shook the Bangkok Metropolis, not with a series of terrible crimes, but because he was able to disable electronics with his music, leading to much chaos.

And because she saw ‘Apaimanee’ when he first appeared, Walee was assigned to a supervisor dead set on finding this man.
