Epilogue

Ryzelia awoke to a faint taping on his door. For a moment, he allowed his mind to process everything that had happened last night. Beside him was his wife, naked and bare under the covers. She was still clinging to him even in her state of sleep. Standing in the open doorway was Alyice with a smile on his face – beside him, Blythe who also had a cheerful expression.

— I’m surprised to see you two here, Ryzelia said as he took a sit up and stretch.

— It wasn’t hard to figure out where the two of you were, master, Blythe said with a smug expression.

— We could hear the two of you from my room, master.

— So, you admit, Alyice, that you and Blythe were in your room? Scandalous.

Alyice blushed and averted his gaze from Ryzelia.

— Anyway, we should let our families know that we’re ready to be married and that I will need some things from the city.

— If you need anything, Blythe and I can go get it, master.

— No, I plan to do something that requires stuff from the city. Plus, this is something I need to create on my own.

Ryzelia stood to his feet and made his way over to his closet.

— What do you plan to create, master? Alyice asked.

— A wedding ring for my wife, of course.
