Chapter 13: Warrior’s blessing and change of plans

Two days after our return to my hometown, Roseburg, I was in ceremonial clothes standing in cathedral in our town. It was day of my Warriors blessing. Ruzu and Kiira were here with me as well, but we didn’t get as much leeway as when baptism took place five years ago so they will have their own ceremony later today.

I’m still paying for it though.

I had a cape on my back with our family crest, a golden griffin holding red rose on light blue and dark green striped field.

Golden griffin is symbol for our family as it’s said that founder of our family was riding one. In heraldry lessons I learned that only royal family can put strong animals or monsters on coat of arms of nobles. Simmilarly only families with significant warrior history, like that of Lulu, can have a sword in their coat of arms.

I took a knee before main altar and the priest started the prayer. I closed my eyes and was embraced by white light.

„Long time no see, Leo,“ magic goddess said.

„Huh? I was called to divine realm again? Is something happening?“ I got startled.

„We just wanted to see you!“ a young cheerful voice rung through the place with light blue table. The voice beloged to black haired and black eyed girl of approximately fourteen years old.

„Um… I’m sorry, I belive we didn’t meet yet, my name is Leonard Hirano Netrose.“

„Yeah I know! I’m Skill god and this one is the water goddess,“ the girl pointed at busty blue haired Onee-san type goddess.

„It’s honor to meet you. Could I ask you what do I owe this chance?“

„Well, we decided to give you stronger blessings,“ Magic goddess answered.

„I-I see. But if you don’t mind me asking, why are you going to do that? I already feel like I’m much stronger then normal people.“

„That is true, but, you will soon leave the realm of humans possibilities anyway so this will help you a little,“

„Leave the realm of human possibilities? What does that mean?“

„To put it simply, you will evolve into higher tier being. A Majin.“ War god said frankly.

A picture of demon terrorizing people flashed through my head.

„You don’t need to worry about something like that. Majin in this world is higher form of human who surrpassed ones limits. You maybe didn’t realized it yet, but the Hero’s party from your history books were actually majins. Same way your mother is.“

„Wait mom is a Majin?!“

„Yes, after all I gave her level 8 blessing,“ Magic goddess smiled.

„I had no clue…“

„That’s weird given that you have apprisal,“ merchant god, who was all this time silent finaly spoke.

Well all gods who are here, are those who gave me blessing plus water goddess and skill god. Also the Creator goddess isn't here.

„Well, I don’t really want to know my mothers three sizes,“ I glanced at Skill god.

„What? I thought boys like to know those things no?“ Skill god giggled.

„Well, we held you here long enough, just remember your promise, Dragons, angels and demons are those you need to take down. The saintess won’t be of help with that untill she gets more combat skills so it’s still only up to you,“ alchemy god spoke in the final moments and I could see that Skill god's face grimaced painfully.

The light intensified and when it died down I was back in the catedhral.

When the ceremony finished, my level was instantly hightened to 50. Just to be clear I used Perfect apprisal on myself.

„Wha—?! What is this? Why did apprisal changed so drastically? …I’m Majin already huh? I’m getting tired…“

When I got to the carriage I fell asleep right away.

„…o … Le… Leo, you hear me?“

„Um, m-mother, what is it? I fell asleep huh? Sorry… M-mom?“ When I looked at my mom she was crying.

„Leo… You wouldn’t awake for so long… I thought… I…“

„Mom, it’s okay, I’m still here. Please tell me what happened,“ I quickly tried to calm her down.

„You’ve slept for almost two weeks Leo…“

„Wait that long? What about the ceremony? Did Kiira and Ruzu finished it?“

„Leo! You should care more about yourself!“ mom yelled with tears flowing from her eyes.

„Um… sorry mom, I will be careful,“ I moved closer to mom and hugged her. She cried for a while. She always puts her children first, I see she was sleeping here on sofa this whole time…

„Are you okay now mom?“ I asked.

„I’m better now, thank you Leo,“ mom smiled a little.

„That’s great, but mom I have something to ask,“ I started.

„Yeah, what is it?“

„Mom, you know what Majin is?“

„Huh? Majin? Well, me for example. Or any other person who overcomed limits of humans. Why do you ask?“ mom tilted her head.

„When you said that I slept for so long I used apprisal on myself and found out that I’m unawakened Majin.“

„You what! I must call your father! Leo! Don’t speak about you becoming Majin to anyone!“ Got surprised and little panicked.

„Uh, sure,“ after this reply mom left the room in quick run.

I streched my body a little and looked around my room. Everything looked normal, except that on my table was a bunch of letters.

„Seems like princess Victia want me to send my reaserch as soon as possible, Lulu is training with her father and made it to level 47, seems her growth load is already catching up… the four rest letters are from girls from the ball… urgh, such pain. But I will have to answer all of them… I could really use printing press…“

„„LEO!““ Taru and Kiira flew into room when I was finishing letter to one of the count’s daughters. Until now I haven’t realised that only girls that were writing me letters were fourth or lower in succession order.

„Taru, Kiira. How have you been?“

„You dummy! I was so worried! You fell asleep and Kiira with Ruzu followed the suit! I was so worried that something bad happened!“ Taru started speaking like a machine gun.

„You and Ruzu fell asleep as well?“ I asked.

„Yep! Take a look!“ Kiira smiled.

„Yes! [Never give up] in exchange for certain amout of mana and stamina I can make certain phenomena real! So I can get better results whatever that happens! No matter how grim our future may be I will never give up!“

I can practically see tail wagging behind her…

„That’s good, Kiira, I’m happy for you. Did Ruzu evolved same way?“

„I don’t know. When you fell asleep, our bonding through Loyalty got disrupted so I couldn’t use your skills.“

„I see. I will check on her later. So what have you two been up to in the meanwhile?“

„I was recieving letters from your lovers,“ Taru said with cold eyes.

„I didn’t took on any lovers. Lulu, the princess and some gilrs from the ball just wrote to me to ask me how I’m doi– What’s with that face you two?!“

„Nothing, it’s just that you are getting more and more popular recently,“ Kiira said.

„Umu, even that Nina girl tried to get to your bed when you were sleeping,“ Taru added.

Um, what?! Nina? That one tried to climb in my bed while I was out? And how do you know it? Wait…

„Let me quess. You were alredy inside when she came right?“

Both of them turned their heads away. I knew it!!

„I don’t mind us sleeping together, but you should remember that if you were caught by some it could lead to troubbles.“

„Don’t worry about it! Your mother allowed us to do it!“ Taru smiled at me.

„What?“

„Ah, it feels so nice to be accepted by parents of my husband,“ Kiira said beet-red in face.

And who’s your husband? I don’t remember giving you a ring! ...even though I did planned it in our old world but I never thought about it here yet!

„Ugrh… I’m going to get something to eat so if you could please…“

„Sure,“ they said and kept hugging me.

I moved out with transfer and headed to diner hall, there mom was waiting with dad.

„Good afternoon, I’m awake now,“ as I greeted them dad gave signal to servants and they left the room immediately.

„Leo,“ dad started, „You may not know this, but by becoming Majin you become one of the most valuable people in the kingdom.“

„Hm? Is that so?“ I asked while quickly eating my soup.

„Yes, it’s said that even one Majin can change course of battle dramaticaly. I know as I was always by your mother’s side.“

„You were in army mom?“

„I joined united front of Sorcery kingdom and Ostilian kingdom in war against Demons, who created a dimensional rift in Helspier kingdom. That’s where the Mist kingdom used to be. Also it was where I met your father for the first time.“

„Back on topic,“ dad said with slightly reddened cheeks, „Leo, every single Majin have something in common. That thing is Unique skill.“

„Yes, I have been blessed with one such skill,“ I nodded.

„And what is it?“ mom asked.

I can’t speak about [King] skills and Loyalty is simmilar to king’s skill [Higher authority] so that’s also a no no.

„My skill is called [Spell weaver], it allows me to make new spells quickly. Up to this point it always took me about half a month before the spell stabilized.“

„That skill…“ mother’s eyes widened, „was lastly used by the Mage of South. Are you really his reincarnation?“

„To best of my knowledge I’m me, no-one else,“ I smiled at mom.

We happily ate our diner and after it I went looking for Ruzu. Acording to Taru she spent most of her time training her magic in garden. If what dad said is true, then I will never get to live comfortibly if people finds out that I’m Majin… so until I awaken, I will keep my mouth shut. If I don’t hold it in until I’m married, I will have a lot of marriage proposals on table all the time… urgh such a pain… If it goes down hill I will never be able to choose my partner...

I got to see Ruzu rather quickly. She was releasing green lightnings alongside her wind magic. I could swear that her hairs are dissapearing from time to time…

„Ruzu,“ I called her out.

„Master you are awake!“ she turned around and I could see that she got younger, now she looked like a girl in her late teens.

„Are you surprised? I evolved during the Warriors blessing ceremony,“

„You became half spirit alongside being High elf?“

„Yes, I can also use spirit possession, which gives me temporal boost to magic power and I can also use elements I couldn’t use before, but it drains a lot of stamina so I was training here.“

„That’s good,“ I smiled and Ruzu came closer and hugged me.

„Ruzu?“

„Welcome back master, it’s good to see you again,“ Ruzu smiled warmly and stroke my head, „I’m ready to serve you once again,“ she said with a deep bow.

I don’t like that 'Serve' part but okay.

I returned to my room just to find even more letters from people from the ball.

„Let’s see, Suzuka’s younger twin sister, Yuni, who I’ve danced with, is asking me, if I am close with William from Kilten family… what? If she’s interes– oh, never mind, he’s son of count which is the lowest of middle ranked titles, while Marquis is third highest title. Her family wouldn’t allow that I can imagine.“

The titles are divided into three groups. Grand Duke (also called Archduke), Duke and Marquis/Margrave are High ranked noble titles. Frontier count, Earl and Count are Middle ranked titles and finaly Viscount, Baron, Baronet and Hereditary knight are Lower ranked noble titles.

„Master, new letter arrived, it’s from young master William Leon Kilten,“ Ruzu said and got nod from Setas, who was teaching her proper way of speaking for times when he’s not around and I have visitors.

„Okay so what is he— Buhahahahahhahahahahahaha! This is good!“

„What is it?“

„William is asking me if I know Yuni of Marquis Glintel family! Those two are really something!“

„So now you are something like king of match making?“ Kiira said teasingly. By the way, she was asked by Setas to play visitor so Ruzu could train. Next day they would swich the roles.

„Seems like it,“ I wiped tears from corners of my eyes.

„Now, the rest of the letters are mostly about ‚how hard it is to find a perfect mach‘ or ‚How unfortunete that I didn’t got any interesting partner‘ these I return as soon as I see them. The problem is this,“ I handled letter to Kiira.

‚Dear Lord Leo, you probably don’t remember me, but I am the second person you danced with at the Ball at the New year debut. My name is Annabelle Erin Wentena and I’m third daughter of Earl Wentena, but please just call me Belle. I belive that you’ve been the best dancer I’ve ever met and I hope that we could dance again … Soon I will be going with father to Count Algoch summer residence, which is near borders with Netrose family territory. We could meet half way wouldn’t you say? … As this list is getting shorter with every sentence, I feel sad that I have to give you my good-byes now. I hope we will get to see each other soon, your beloved Annabelle Erin Wentena ♥♥♥‘

„That’s a stalker all right,“ Kiira said with dark look.

You are one to talk, Kiira.

„Well, let’s give her some bait that would redirect her to someone else,“ I shrugged and Setas with Ruzu left the room to bring more tea.

„You have experience with that?“

„My cousin was little too dependant on me you see, so I used my big sis to redirect her at her.“

„I don’t know Leo, this girl seems like the type who would be sitting in her room with body-shaped pillow of you and your pictures all around her room,“ Kiira shrugged same way I did before.

„Lord Leo! It’s emergency! Your father want to see you right now!“ Setas run in the room, catching his breath shortly.

„I’m on my way, Kiira,“ I jumped off the chair and run to doors, not even looking back.

„Understood, I will… it’s getting dark so I will go sleep early today,“ Kiira said with warm smile and I nodded to her in doors.

While Leo was dealing with problems with his father, Annabelle was holding close to her her pendant, which had broken chain. Back at the New year Debut, it was Leo who picked it up for her, when it fell, even though he was of higher status then her.

„Fufufu… I’m looking for our reunion Leo dear,“ Annabelle chuckled.

„Aren’t you optimistic girl?“ a cold voice rung through the room in inn in Rosebush city, which was halfway though territory in way to Count Algoch territorry, in former Duke Glemburg territory.

„Wh-who are—“ Annabelle’s supprise was cut short when hand in black cloth grabbed her neck and held her high.

„I’m Leo’s ONLY TRUE LOVER. You try and steal my man and I will kill you,“ the woman's voice said coldly.

„You… know… who… I am?“

„I do, that’s why I’m not going to kill you right away, but someone else…“ the woman throw head on ground. It was head of one of her guards, „might not be so lucky.“

„Aaah—!!“

„Remember, geting close to Leo will be your death. I do not approve of you, stalker girl,“ with that the woman's grip loosened and she dissapeared in place she was standing. Never to be seen again.

I sped through the hallways of our mansion and entered dad’s office and found mom being already there.

„I’m here, what is the situation?“

„„Leo,““ mom and dad said in union and dad continued: „It seems some Sea dragonfolk found their way to the city where you are heading to.“

„From your face I guess it’s not good,“ I said.

„It seems that they hunted some monsters and accidentaly lured in Silver ranked monster, Blue moss crab.“

Blue moss crab can use earth and water magic, their exoskeleton is as hard as mithril and is called fake orichalcum.

„I see, if I went there as me, king would notice it. On other hand, I‘m only one, except mom, who can hope for victory and save the Sea dragonfolk from being percecuted.“

Dad nodded, „It’s really severe situation. I can only send you, but if I do…“

„The king would notice that I have more power myself then the rest of my team. I’m sure he already heard your and grandpa’s version of story about the Water measurer room boss I defeated.“

„Yes, king know that it was defeated through combined efforts of Sword saint and your leadership of your minions.“

„Also, I can’t go in my current state,“ mom smiled.

„?“

„You see Leo, your mother is pregnant.“

„Really? That’s good news! I will have little sister! Or maybe brother? Well whatever! I will be big brother either way! I better finish this matter quickly then.“

„No need to rush, Leo. The Blue moss crab was seen on outskirts of the city, but it’s not attacking. Also I know how fast you can be so please rest for today and head out tommorow morning.“

„Understood father. I will make sure no-one can say it’s me,“ I said with a wink.

The next day I called Ruzu and Kiira who for some reason looked really sleepy even though she went to sleep early.

Taru was also goin with us, but her only duty was to persuade the Sea dragonfolk to come with us. She did boost her level in dungeon, but monsters around our city now were too low level for her.

I had everyone grab me and I used Transfer to the closest place I could. It was small city, where I once followed father to train with knight order. It was about two days away from the city.

„So what now?“ Taru asked.

„We will use some masks, Kiira you have them?“ I said.

„Yup, here,“ Kiira handed us black full body suits in black color from her Item box.

I was first to test it out, „Seems like mana flow is strong and stable, making this from that Cockatrice was a good idea.“

Back when we defeated the cockatrice when we were little, I found out that the skin conducts magic really well so I processed it and had Kiira make these suits. Thanks to some improvements made by her the suits were easily customizible, which meant that when we will grow up, we will be still able to wear them.

After the main leather part was finished, I added the metal parts, namely shoulder pads, shin pads and chestplates.

„Will we have some masks as well? Like superheroes?“ Taru stared at me with a droll.

„It’s more like a balaclava, but you could call it a mask as well.“

The masks I handed them were made from silk of Flame moth, which was a drop from Grubera dungeon I bought a lot when we lastly visited. Incidentaly, it was also Kiira who made them, only thing I did was transmuting the [Magic glass] to make goggles. All of them were black, but I had white Zorro-style mask painted on it. Kiira, Ruzu and Taru had numbers 1, 2 and 3 in that order on their foreheads.

After finishing our changing to our suits Ruzu called upon Sylphies and we run off to the city under attack of Blue Moss crab. Thanks to the Sylphies we were able to get there soon before sunset.

„This is more severe, then I thought,“ I said looking at the city from nearby hill.

The Blue moss crab was sitting on next hill to right from us and had it’s underlinks to surround the city, which explained why the city haven’t fell yet. Their magic barrier was about same strenght as our mansions.

„Okay let’s start with the big—“

„—Fight from long distance!“ Taru grabbed me with tears in her eyes.

„You saw something?“

„Y-you died…“ Taru said as tears started flowing from her eyes.

„Then long range it is,“ I patted her head and sheated my sword, „I wanted to test this guy anyway,“ I took out a gun from my Item box.

„A revolver?“ Kiira tilted her head.

„And these,“ I took out bullets from my Item box, „Bullets made from magical glass from Maze moth, I changed their shape and enchanted them with elemental and space magics.“

„So what will you do with it?“ Ruzu who saw gun for the first time in her life tilted her head cutely.

„Aim. Charge with magic. And shoot.“

The bullet left the gun with single clack.

The monster didn't ever realized what hit it.

„Hey, I’m no expert on monsters like you Ruzu. But should Blue moss crab die after one shot?“

„No, deffinitely not…“

„That was anticlimaxing, but hey, there is still a lot of it’s spawn so go wild you three,“ I said as I checked the gun, just to find it completly fine.

For the rest of the day we hunted down the spawn, some of it tried to escape, but Taru located them and I crushed them.

It was long after dark, when we were finished and changed to more casual clothes. We were camping out and wanted to move to rescuing the Sea deagonfolk in the morning.

The next morning, I took carriage from my Item box and used Transfer to get two horses from our home. Right after sunrise, we made our way over the hill we originally came and with Ruzu steering we made our way to the city.

„Stop! This city belongs directly under his Excellency Duke Netrose!“

„I’m servant of lord Leonard Hirano Netrose! Third son of Duke Netrose! By his order, he came here personally to help!“ Ruzu shouted back at the guard.

„Open the gates!“ the guard shouted and bowed his head deeply.

We went right through and headed to governors mansion. There we found a man in his late fifties with gray hairs and beard.

„Lord Leo, it’s good to see you again.“

„It’s good to see you too, Count Melhane, I’ve brought supplies in my Item box, but it seems like it wont be needed. Good work defending the city,“ I gave a calculated and warm smile.

„No, we don’t deserve such a praise. You see yesterday a group of four or so warriors appeared and destroyed the small crabs around the city. When we send out scouts, only blood of those monsters were left behind.“

Well, I did collect all body parts to my Item box.

„Just four? That seems little low, don’t you think?“

„I do, but the report said that soldiers guarding the west gate saw four people. I trust my soldiers so I belive that one of them must’ve been a majin.“

„So rogue majin appeared? That’s…“

„Concerning I know, but given the sudden appearence of Sea dragonfolk to boot… I think that they are after them and the monsters were in their way so they wanted to show how strong they are so we would give them away.“

„That would be even more concerning don’t you think sir Melhane? A majin, which didn’t swear loyalty to his majesty the king, who defeated and made the Beast kingdom into vassal state, would be worrysome.“

„I agree too,“ count nodded.

„Well, what if you let us take them to Roseburg? The four warriors will deffinitely not expect that.“

„I–I see! That is really good idea lord Leo, I will call my people to bring them in right away! Plese follow this maid to prepared parlor,“ the count hastenly left.

When he was gone I silently said to Ruzu who swiched her place with Kiira and was under invisibility spell: „Follow him.“

We went to the parlor and the maid prepared tea for me, Taru and Kiira.

Delicious sweet smell spread through the room.

„What a bewitchingly beutiful smell, why don’t you drink with us miss maid?“

„Oh, that’s not my place lord,“ the maid bowed deeply.

„No need to stay on ceremonies with me. I’m just third son so I will probably lose my noble standing upon reaching adulthood, so please sit and drink with us,“ I smiled at her with slight command in my voice.

„A-as y-you wish lord…“ the maid said defeatedly and sit across me, taking the cup in her shaking hands.

„Is something wrong? You are shaking all over. You probably are really happy that you can get such a fine sweet tea, right?“ I smiled with a threat in my voice.

„I–It’s just as you say, my lord,“ the maid said, took a deep breath and sipped the tea slightly.

The cup fell from her hand and the maid turned blue. Without a doubt in my mind I knew that she was poisoned.

„Oh, my~ aren’t you feeling little under the weather miss maid? What could it be? Oh, no, don’t tell me you tried to poison me with tea!“ I smiled at terrified maid and I continued, „You see, father said that the city is somewhat underdeveloping in past few years so I got secret mission to use Apprisal on everybody here.“

The maid turned pale.

„Kiira tie her hands and Taru you heal her.“

„Yes!“

When the act was done I looked out of the window. There a purple lightning shot towards the sky twice. Mission accomplished.

„Seems like Ruzu is done on her part as well. We will wait for her return.“

Few minutes before two lightnings shot towards the sky.

Ruzu was silently running after count Melhane. For someone his age he was quick. Soon he was accompanied by boy of aproximately fourteen years old.

„Give me those money and finish those noisy dragonfolk!“ he yelled at the boy.

In that moment Ruzu sprung into action. With one hit she stopped the boy in his tracks and moved in front of the count.

„You’re coming with me,“ she put her hand on his shoulder and forcibly stopped him.

„Watch your hands elf! I will have you beheaded! Guards!“ The count yelled and supprised knights took stance.

Ruzu took out of her breast pocket a paper given to her by Leo and said: „By order of Duke Netrose we were ordered to do an investigation of the governance. Anyone who will stand in way of our investigation will be charged with treason. For those of you who don’t know, that means that your families will be either killed with you or made into criminal slaves!“

With that knights sheated their weapons. Some of them took the boy and count, and followed Ruzu to the office of the governor. There in main chair was sitting Leo, smiling.

„Leaving so soon, Count Melhave?“

„What is the meaning of this young lord?! Why is this elf treating me like a criminal? You should better keep those on leash! I will not tell about this to your father if you behead her now!“ The count yelled.

„Embezzlement, taking bribes from Duke Glemburg, we know about everything you did. We know about those illegal slaves you helped duke Varill smuggle into and from his territory.“

„That’s imposible! I’m loyal to lord Netrose!“

„Lord? Not his excelency?“ Leo said with intimidation in his voice.

In that moment a small knock saved count Melhave from peeing himself.

The person who walked in was a girl that not too long ago celebrated her eleventh birthday. Her name was Alette Sakura Melhave, count Melhave's only child. Her mother died during birth so he was onlyone who was rasing her, yet she possesed high sence of justice and despised slavery like someone from earth would. Yet she wasn’t a reincarnator. So I belive that your punishment will not be as severe. Still a questioner will be send from royal capital so do not leave the city. I will stay here until the questioner in question arrives.“

„Understood sir!“ the knights saluted with tears in corners of their eyes.

„I, Alette Sakura Mel… Alette Sakura Netrose, understand. Brother Leo, I will take my leave,“ Alette smiled and left.

When everyone was gone and the former count was in prison, Kiira looked at me and asked: „Brother Leo? What was that? And why did she called herself Netrose?!“

„I was told that grandpa’s sister had only one daughter, that after marriage had only one child, mother of Alette.“

„I see, so there is no-one else in her family except her father and the Netrose family… why are you making that face?“

A knock broke us from our conversation and Ruzu entered the room followed by five Sea dragonfolk people. Three of them were woman and two were men.

„Priestess!“ Their eyes widened and knelt before Taru.

„I’m also happy to see you are safe, although our numbers are smaller then before…“

„Don’t worry priestess! Many of our people survived the genocide brought by that lion and we regrouped in southern part of this duchy! And few of us were send to–“ The female dragonfolk stopped.

Only us, the people, survived and we must move on. I did, and I bear the mark of it,“ Taru said warmly while patting the girls head.

„Well I belive we could make some spare time to visit the Sea dragonfolk from time to time,“ I smiled.

The girl rose to her feet and stood before me, „You are her destined one right?“

„That would be me, I suppose.“

The girl inhaled strongly and shouted, „Plese take good care of our priestess and we will follow you until the end of our days!“

The girl went on ground with her tail pointing upwards and the rest of the dragonfolk followed her.

Acording to Taru, this pose simmilar to dogeza, meant for Sea Dragonfolk absolute subserviance.

I stand up from the chair and walked pass the table. I knelt before her and grabbed her shoulder, „I will, don’t worry about anything. I will always protect those who are dear to me.“

„Thank you!“ chorus rose from the Dragonfolks.

With that I let Taru go with them to catch up on stuff and collected all accountant books and moved them inside my Item box. Then I used Transfer to go back home.

„I’m back,“ I said as I entered father’s office.

„Leo, how it went?“

„Rather smoothly… is what I would like to say, but that Crab would deffinitely kill me if I fought in close combat.“

„Is that so? Well, you are safe and sound so just don’t tell that to your mother and all will be fine. What about the second thing?“

„Alette was correct, we found a lot of evidence in first book we opened. Also that guy tried to poison me.“

„Thank you father,“ I bowed as I was thought to do in formal settings.

„I would have no troubbles to make you head of branch family now, but if I did, nobles would become noisier then ever.“

„So do you plan to start your own family and getting your own title?“

„Nothing of the sorts right now. I should get some form of schooling don’t you think so too?“ I giggled.

I took the book and saw that it was about things govrnor needs for calm rule and happiness of people. Of course written by dad himself.

„Yes father, ‚a Black majin appreared and wiped out the crabs before moving on to the south‘ 'Son of Duke Netrose, Leo, came with aid after it all ended' is what people will think about this incident. And here the accountant books we collected,“ I reported and gave father all the accontant books from my Item Box.

„Ruzu also get hold on the embezzled money and we are currently searching the mansion for more.“

„How is Alette feeling?“

„I think that it’s hard for her right now. On one hand she have strong feeling of justice that is out of this world and on the other hand, the one she needed to punish was her father, her only family.“

„Well, I hope you will help her, as her older brother,“ dad smiled.

„It’s weird to say that when she is older then me,“ I smiled same way back at father.

„Only by four months, that’s not so much. Also you could repay her by marrying her in the future,“ dad smiled wolfishly.

Seems he also have idea as to why she was able to recognize her fathers deeds.

„But is it really good idea to marry my sister, although adopted one? And what would other nobles said?“

The truth is that the reason why we can’t do the same with Lulu is that she is of baron family and everyone there is quite alive and well. Also there is huge wall in power between Baron and Viscount, although the titles are right next to each other the responsibilities are really different.

Baron can rule only one city and up to five villages in it's surroundings. For every territory there are at least fifty barons.

Viscount rule mosty two to three cities and all villages in twenty five kilometer radius from them. Viscount also have one vote in royal capitals law referendum (high nobility have two). Highest positions of Ministers is usually given to high nobility, but their assistants are mostly of Count or Viscount title. So in order to keep them close, adoption and marrying later the adopted person is common practice.

I left with transfer for the mansion where Kiira and the rest was waiting.

„Urgh… such a pain… how can you do this?“ Ruzu sounded annoyed.

They were playing reversi. I was personally chess type of person, but the most played game here in this kingdom was suprisingly shogi. Apparently Hero who was summoned and became the first king, introduced this game to merchant on his travels and the merchant later became extreemly rich and powerful thanks to this ecounter.

„You’re playing again?“

„Master, please help me!“ Ruzu grabbed be around waist and hide her face in me.

„That’s a low blow Ruzu! Stop using those weapons so early on him!“ Kiira jumped up in order to stop Ruzu.

I can understand her feeling, after all, her soft warm breasts are touching me down bellow.

„Okay you two time to stop. We need to look for that stolen money. You have any leads?“

Ruzu fixed her posture and moved her long hair behind her ear, „we were able to locate some leads, but it seems that no hidden doors are here. Only one hidden safe was here.“

„There was five white gold coins and about two hundread regular gold coins,“ Kiira added with simmilar motion of hand to Ruzu.

Why are you looking at me like I was some kind of candy? …wait I promised them headpats right? Okay, here. I patted both of them and they made happy face.
