Three days after my first sword training...

After recovering from that 3 days inside hell in a single night, I was back in my old shape as Mama Diana only said that I can only train for around 3 days a week. From that point on, it was time for me and Clarence to both learn from magic lessons...

Well, not really in the most formal way possible, but I'm just accompanying my little brother, Clarence to the private tutor who comes here twice weekly on the first and the third day of the week. 

Mama Clara said that "while you're accompanying Clarence-sama to his magic lessons, try to absorb as much information as you can without writing it down" as if it's actually a form of training for me to learn magic myself... 

Somehow, this makes it a lot harder than even in my past life.

[Clarence, your Uncle Hugo's here is going to be your magic tutor for you. Come and say hi to him.]

[It's been a long while since I've seen Clarence-sama. He grew up quite well, huh...?]

[Uncle Hugo!]

Clarence who was hiding behind Mama Diana then approached Hugo-san who is apparently going to be our magic tutor for around 2 years although I'll only stay in his class for around 6 months.

[Emi-chan, this is His Highness, Hugo Solange von Marconi. A cousin of Edmund-sama. Observe and learn his magic lessons as well, alright?]

[Yes, Mother.]

[Oho? Who's this little lady over there, Edmund? Clarence's personal attendant?]

[Ah, that's right Hugo... That's Clara's daughter, Emi.]

[Greetings, Your Highness, Hugo-sama. I'm Emi Meire Schultz, daughter of Clara Meire Schultz and Clarence-sama's personal attendant.]

[Likewise, Emi-san. Am I right to assume that you will be attending Clarence's magic class as well.]

[Indeed, Hugo-sama.]

[Alright... You can also learn from the class if you want to.]

Oya? Isn't he a lot more perceptive than I thought...? I guess that's just how nobles act I guess...

I responded with Hugo-san's... or rather, Marconi-sensei's suggestion with an elegant bow and responded.

[I'm glad to partake in such a class with Clarence-sama. I will be imposing you for such an occasion, Marconi-sensei.]

As I said that, Marconi-sensei nodded, and with that, Clarence and I would start participating in Marconi-sensei's lessons. To help myself on tracking things down, I've saved up the necessary information related to both magic and its multiple forms.

Recent Day...

When the Hunters' HQ came into our view after taking a turn on a street, we can see a caravan of horse-driven carriages in front of it, some being filled with nothing but people, while some being filled with weapons and some other things. It seems that things have already been prepped up for the boar hunt.

[Oi Clara! You're late!]

[Shut it meathead! We came here quick!]

Mama Clara and someone who seemed to be quite a buffy and also a bald guy with a brown mustache shouted to each other as the three of us approached the front.

[Didn't expect Metal Pan to be with you of all people, Clara?]

[Who are you calling a metal pan, and what do you mean by "of all people"?!]

[Come on now, you two... Stop bickering while we're in front of Emi...]

The bald with the mustache guy's question was responded with Sophia-san's fiery retort as it seems that with Clara's exasperated look, the two of them were quite something. It seems that the three of them were quite friends with each other.

[Clara said that she's going to help her daughter earn up some EXP but this little lass over here... isn't she a little too big for a six-year-old?]

[Ah... Indeed... She's just using magic to conceal her appearance. Would you believe that a six-year-old kid can last around a few minutes in a serious all-out fight against me?]

[Eh? Seriously?!]

The bald-mustached guy's reaction to what Mama Clara said is quite entertaining, to be honest... but I can't really blame myself for it... I just wanted to live a normal life, and yet here I am, a daughter of royalty, and even a Hero...

[Ehem... Greetings, Emi-san. I'm Eric Dario. I'm your Mom's friend as well as an Archer while I was an adventurer with your Mom and Sophia-san being in the same group as I was.]

[Likewise. I'm Emi Meire Schultz. Nice to meet you, Eric-san.]

[At your northeast! Just a few hundred meits! 2 giant wild boars!]

[[Roger that!]]

As Eric-san pointed out the location, the two of us can sense where they were heading but I still can't see accurately where it would be located while we were running. 

I'm running both my Thought Acceleration and my Parallel Processing skills as well as all of my speed-based skills to match the excessive speed that Mama Clara is doing.

Elemental Sight? What's that...? If it's an S-Rank skill, then it means that it's pretty overpowered.

[S-Rank Skill "Elemental Sight" is a skill that lets the skill owner peek through all objects that contain mana. 

Along with S-Rank "Magic Power Operation", it can even pinpoint mana and automatically drive any magic-based spells to the specified target. 

It is a sub-skill of the SS-Rank skill "Deep Appraisal".]

Is that so...? It's really quite overpowered, but I guess, that works now for me... Let's peek through our target then...

As I peeked through the Elemental Sight, I felt like with the Thought Acceleration and Parallel Processing skills, the world I'm seeing now is quite different from the visual one. 

There is translucent but ambient white-colored mana that is almost stationary in my sight while the plant life and the animals around me were glowing in color white. 

When I peek over at Mama Clara's body, I can totally see red and green mana that are slowing together at her solar plexus. I guess that's the color of her elemental affinities... And there seems to be mana flowing from that point towards both her hands and her feet too... Are these mana channels that Marconi-sensei thought us...?

Anyways, after that, I quickly peek through the 2 giant wild boars that were ahead of the four of us. It seems that these giant wild boars that are around 5 meters (meits) long and 3 meters (meits) high were not something that has an elemental affinity, but their mana capacity's still freaking huge due to their body.

Using my Deep Appraisal skill, I can now measure how far the two of us are from the two giant wild boars that started running away from us.

[Targets are just 120 meits in front of us. They seemed to be moving now!]

[Alright... Let's go faster! Its fur is quite thick so use Endowment Magic! We'll go for each one of 'em!]

[Yes, Mother!]

[Endowment Magic activate. Fire and Wind. Inferno-Style.]

Woah... This is the first time that I'll be seeing Mama Clara utilizing magic in combat outside of the sparring sessions that the two of us had.

As Mama Clara said that, the blade on her magic sword that she was holding immediately went up in flames but it didn't feel too hot... Is she using her wind magic to contain the heat...?

Anyways, before I could even think about that, Mama Clara and I immediately moved faster than Eric-san and Sophia-san who were falling behind in speed as I pulled out my wakizashi and my uchiganata to their appropriate places as I also put my Endowment Magic on each blade as I whispered.

[Endowment Magic, activate. Fire and Wind. Inferno-Style.]

[Spell Weaver, activate. Concentrate fire and wind-elemental magic to a singular edge and line of the blade.]

I thought as I imagined the fire getting concentrated in a single line along both my uchiganata and my wakizashi with the wind containing the concentrated fire as hard as to not damage the swords that I have, and only releasing it once I uttered my new spell's name.

What resulted was something like a plasma blade on one edge of my uchiganata. As the two of us jumped over the two giant wild boars, I twisted my body to gather the momentum for a 360-degree spin.

[You're mine now! Blade of Fire!]

[Slashing through all, Melt Slash!]

Mama Clara swung his magic sword which unleashes a sword-slash-shaped fire that pierced through the entirety of that one giant wild boar. 

At the same time, I landed a hit on the other giant wild boar with my uchiganata as I smoothly slashed through the entirety of its neck. Only the two heads and bodies of the two lifeless giant wild boars were on the ground after we landed on our feet, extinguishing our endowment magic on our swords.

[Holy Anastasia... Am I just seeing things, Sophia?]

[Nope... This is my first time seeing it as well...]

[Seeing Clara do that is quite a norm, but for Emi-chan to slice through that thick fur that normal arrows can't pierce through... Is Emi-chan a genius...?]

[Like Mother, Like Daughter... I guess...?]

The two of them remarked as the two of them finally reached our position a few moments later with the view of two giant wild boars on their view as well. Mama Clara then complimented me as she looks over at the giant wild boar that I killed.

[That was a good one, Emi-chan... You slashed through it quite smoothly.]

[All thanks to your guidance, Mama.]

[That's good to know--wait... did you feel that, Eric?!]

[Yeah, I can feel it too...]

As the two of them immediately heard that the birds were leaving in quite a flock, I immediately turned my Elemental Sight on to see as much as I can from a wide space...

And what I'm witnessing right now is... there were many mana signatures of people fighting a huge swarm of mana from a few kilometers away as if they poked a hornet's... nest...

[Mama! It's a swarm on the west!]

[A swarm?! A swarm of what?!]

[I can't distinguish it...]

[Is that so...? Eric, Sophia, Emi, let's go!]

As Mama Clara said that, she put her left hand towards the two giant wild boars' bodies and heads, and as if it was sucked inside her hand, it's now completely gone. It's her Item Box in action with her capacity being larger than my own...

After that, the four of us immediately went our way toward the location of that fighting that I detected earlier. But for all I've felt right now, I have a bad feeling about this...
