During that night, I remembered that incident again.

“Hey, you! Could you give me the drug now? I don't want to be here any longer!”

“Leon... You can't imagine how much I hate you...” Fynn said threateningly.

“Oh, I sure do! After all, I hate you even more.” I responded with a mocking smirk.

“Now open your mouth...” uncle ordered as he was about to put the drug in my mouth.

The time had come. I couldn't turn back anymore.

“Wait a second.” Fynn said after he grabbed uncle's arm.

“What are you doing?” uncle asked with an intimidating glare.

“Yeah, what are you doing? Wasn't it your goal to drug me? Wait, let me guess... Are you perhaps getting cold feet?” and again, I mocked him.

I suppose making fun of Fynn no matter the situation became second nature to me.

Slap!

“Watch your mouth or I'll slap you.”

The heck? Did you just slap me despite saying that?

“Ptu!”

He didn't slap me with great force but it was enough to make me spit blood.

“Hey, that's enough.” uncle calmly tried to stop the abuse.

“Don't get on my nerves, okay? Just wait for your turn.”

Showing no resistance, uncle faded slowly into the back.

“And you two. Come here, already.”

At his command, two people emerged from the dark and stood beside Fynn.

“Heh, I was starting to wonder where the two of you were.” I commented.

“As if I would miss out on this fun.” Anna replied playfully while holding my chin with her hand.

“Still smiling? Seems like you don't understand your current situation.” Jack said as he cracked his fingers with a wicked grin.

Ah shit, here we go.

Bam!

“Argh!”

“Now that's a face I like to see!” Jack stated proudly after he punched my solar plexus.

“Blergh!”

Due to the strong impact, I puked.

“Haaa... Haaa...” I tried to gasp some air.

“Eww! To think that you would puke... Disgusting!” Anna expressed her disgust by pinching her nose.

Based on the looks she gave me, I knew instantly that she thought of me as trash. But that was nothing new.

“I guess you deserve a punishment for making me feel disgusted.”

“Hrng... What- Ugh!”

At that moment, I felt pain greater than any pain I ever experienced. Even greater than Jack's punch just now.

“Uh! I feel that!” Jack shuddered.

I received an attack that made every man feel the pain just by looking.

A kick into the balls.

“That's enough for now.”

For the first time in my life, I witnessed Fynn trying to help me. Or so I thought.

“It's time for the main event...” he announced joyous as he presented the drug in his hand.

I guess he got the drug from uncle while I got harassed by the two.

“Anna, get me the water bottle. Jack, bring him in position.” he ordered the two.

“And now to you... Any last words?” Fynn asked me with a creepy smile.

“...”

I just grinned at him.

“I see. Still acting tough even though you don't know what this drug does.”

Then, Jack, who stood behind me, grabbed my head and made me face the ceiling while opening my mouth.

“With this drug you'll lose your memories for an entire month.” Fynn stated.

Following his last words, he made me swallow the drug and pushed the water bottle he got from Anna into my mouth. Only after noticing that I almost couldn't swallow any water anymore he let go of the bottle.

I immediately took deep breaths to calm down.

At the same time, the three turned their backs to me and prepared to leave the building.

My consciousness slowly faded away but I still managed to pass my message on them.

“You guys did it now... You dug your own graves...” I said weakly before everything went pitch black.

Ring!

Perfectly timed with the end of my dream, my alarm clock went off.

I turned the alarm clock off and got out of my bed. After doing some stretches, I opened my window letting a fresh breeze in my room.

Compared to the last few days, I had no headache and my body didn't feel sluggish anymore.

I was completely healthy.

Next thing I did was checking my phone.

“I see...” I muttered.

14 days passed since I was drugged. Uncle was truly a genius. The drug really wore off after 14 days.

As of now, I felt no side effects nor did anything felt weird.

“Heh...”

I noticed a big grin forming on my face.

Well, could you blame me? After all, I had all my memories back. Nothing was hazy and missing anymore. The experiment was a success!

I was completely healthy in body and mind.

I was back.

“...”

Now only a few hours passed since I woke up and yet my mood soured. Why it soured? Well, the answer was right in front of me.

Lunch break just started when the usual three people barged into my classroom to check up on me.

Initially, I pretended to sleep but they had the nerve to take some random chairs and to sit around my table. Feeling how their intense gazes, I gave up pretending and faced them.

“Are you feeling better now, Leon? I heard that you spent yesterday entirely in the infirmary.”

“Damn, that's harsh. I can't remember when I saw you the last time, man.”

“Just don't push yourself too much, okay? After all, you're still recovering, right?”

The three of them acted all worried but I knew that this was an act.

There was the option to expose them but I still had to achieve a certain goal. Therefore, I forced myself to play along for now as much as it disgusts me, though.

“Sorry, for worrying you guys. I'm fine now.” I replied.

I tried my best to form a naive and innocent expression when I spoke.

Pretending to be their friend...

I was just this close to snap. If their were things I couldn't stand then it would be their faces, voices, the ways they behave and act, personalities, presence and the things they did. I could easily go on but I guess I could also sum it up in one word: everything.

My eyes that were accustomed to look at them as if they were trash, my voice that would be usually filled with hate and mockery when talking with them and my perfect smile that always ticked them off, I had to suppress all these urges.

“Oh, is that so? That's great to hear!” Jack said while he put his food on the table.

Following him, Anna and Fynn also put out their foods and drinks.

I saw it coming but were they really planning to eat lunch here?

It was impossible for me to spend so much time as their 'friend' so I had to quickly come up with a plan.

“Ugh... My stomach feels weird... Sorry, guys. Eat without me first, I'll go to the toilet...” I stated as I acted like I was in pain.

“O-okay, sure...” Fynn responded a bit taken aback.

Thus, I swiftly escaped the three.

“Finally freedom...” I muttered to myself pleased after I locked myself in a cabin.

Bzz!

Then, my phone vibrated which meant that I got a message. So I checked my phone and saw that an unknown person sent me a video file.

A crescent smile formed on my face.

With this I could start it.

It was time to get my revenge on those three.

They will pay for not only drugging me but also for what they did to me and the others in the past.

And I already had my first victim in my mind.

It won't be the guy who wants his parents to notice him nor will it be the devious girl who likes to play around.

The first one to pay will be the guy who is blinded by his own foolish belief.
