Chapter 1:

The Meeting In The Forest

When The Alien Mets the Killer

Within the darkness of the forest, there were sounds of humming. The owner of the humming, Aiden, was in the process of digging a grave.

"Why did I think this was a good idea?" He questioned himself. He had decided to kill someone late at night; the only problem was that he had work tomorrow and had to be up early.

It was 1 a.m. and he hadn't even finished digging.

His body was covered in dirt. Sweating encouraged both his clothes and the dirt to stick to him like glue. The only source of light was a small lantern which wasn't helpful either and the fact that he had a smallish build only made digging slightly harder.

Two hours later Aiden successfully put the body into the grave. "Finally, I can go home." He wiped the sweat off his face with relief.

The moment he turned in the direction of his car, he heard a noise come from behind. His body instinctively grabbed his gun, which was hidden inside his pocket, and pointed it towards the noise as he hid behind a tree.

The sounds of dry leaves breaking and twigs cracking came nearer and nearer. Aiden made no movement and no sound, he only laid in wait for whatever was to come out of the forest.

He had encountered countless situations like this in the past, most of the time it would be an animal, which he would scare off with a gunshot.

However the few times a person came out of the forest, he would either keep quiet or in unavoidable situations would have to kill the person. It would only lead him to have to dig another grave, which he didn't have time for.

From the depth of the forest, a badger came out and Aiden let out a sigh of comfort. He wouldn't have to dig another grave.

He put his gun away as he stepped out of his hiding spot. "Fucker. You scared the shit out of me." He looked at the badger and the badger only gave him a confused look.

Aiden, though in a rush to get home, spent a few minutes trying to connect with the badger, and it nearly worked. Until the badger's calm and harmless demeanor suddenly became hostile and started to growl at Aiden.

"What are you growling at?" Aiden said playfully but his playful demeanor came to a halt when he heard a twig snap behind his back.

When he looked to the ground behind him, he saw large blue feet?!

He instantly turned around. His eyes nervously started to look up from the blue feet; only to see a 7-foot-tall, blue alien. It had darker blue horns, black hair, and yellow eyes that glowed in the night.

The moment Aiden saw the full figure of the alien a blood-curdling scream left Aiden's lips and he started to back up.

An alien towered over him, and he knew he had to run but his legs felt numb. It felt that if he were to take a step too fast, his whole body would collapse.

He felt his heartbeat through every inch of his body, as sweat began to once again pour out of his skin; but he still felt a chill down his spine. Even his vision began to blur.

The alien, having heard the ear-piercing scream, changed his stoic expression to a nervous one. He slightly backed away as he started to look around their surroundings.

He quickly picked up the badger and showed it to Aiden. The alien was clearly still nervous but his face was filled with worry.

The confused Aiden couldn't wrap his face around it. Why was the alien holding the badger? Why is it here? Will the alien kill him?

When the alien noticed that Aiden didn't make any moves, he took a large step forward. It took Aiden a few seconds to process that the alien had moved, but his body was already at its limit. His eyes, fighting to stay open, slowly closed and his legs gave out, leaving him collapsed on the floor.

The alien was left alone to observe the unconscious human. Not knowing what to do, he once again held out the badger to him with a worrisome expression as his large tail swayed back and forth.
