Chapter 2:
When The Alien Mets the Killer
The alien, being left alone, didn't know what to do. Did the human die? Why did it suddenly fall?
"Balderik?! Where did you go?!" Another alien yelled out. This alien looked similar to Baldrik but with a much smaller build. The newcomer only had half the muscles that Balderik possessed.
"...here," Balderik panicky said as he stood in front of the human, covered the human's legs with his tail, and hid the badger behind his back.
"..." The newcomer paused in his steps. "What did you hide?"
"...this?" Balderik said as he held up the badger in the air.
"We JUST had a conversation about not touching things. We don't even know what that is. Put it down!" The alien frowned at Balderik as he walked closer. However the moment he step closer, he saw something laying on the floor behind him.
"Wait.....IS THAT A HUMAN?! WHAT DID YOU DO?! DID YOU KILL IT?! WHAT DID I SAY BEFORE WE GOT HERE!" The alien yelled at Balderik as he ran up to Aiden.
"I don't know. It just suddenly collapsed. I don't know what happened, he just screamed, and then...that happened." He explained.
"Luckily he's still alive," The alien said and both he and Balderik took a breath of relief.
"What do we do now?" The alien questioned himself out loud. "Can we take it with us?" Balderik asked as he bent down to get a closer look at the human as he released the badger that he held captive.
"NO! HUMANS HAVE BEEN ISOLATED FROM THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE FOR A REASON! THEY ARE BLOODTHIRSTY CREATURES! AND YOU WANT TO BRING ONE ON OUR SHIP? ARE YOU NUTS!?" The alien yelled even louder than before but Balderik didn't have much of a reaction.
Instead, he played with the human's hair, "Beautiful," he whispered with a soft smile. Even his tail swayed on the ground near the human as an expression of his emotions.
The alien grew so frustrated that he didn't even want to argue with him anymore. Before landing on Earth, he gave a lecture to everyone on the ship about things they couldn't do. After landing on Earth, he gave another lecture on things they couldn't do. He even quizzed everyone on his lecture, yet no one listened to him, especially Balderik.
"Do what you want," The alien rolled his eyes before going in the direction of the ship.
"Elifam!" Balderik called out to him. "What?" Elifarm turned back with a frustrated expression.
"Molgal!" (It means Thank You)
Elifam's expression changed into a shocked one but slowly turned into a slime, "Yeah."
Balderik wasted no time scoping up the human in his arms but just as he was about to follow Elifam, he turned to look at the badger.
The human seemed to be calm when he looked at this thing. Are they bonded?
Balderik didn't want the human to scream again so he approached the badger, "You're coming with us."
It was almost like it understood what he said because it started to run to the forest, but Balderik caught it with his tail. "Don't be scared, you will not be food."
"Unless the human eats you."
It didn't take long before Balderik and Elifam reached their ship. It was gigantic, it was as larger as 2 houses put together.
It was so large that there was no clearing in the forest large enough to land the ship. So the aliens landed it on a random bunch of trees, which were destroyed. While the outside of the ship is solid black, the inside was a different story.
The moment you stepped into the ship, you were greeted with a large carpet with a design of 3 people. The person in the middle looked similar to Balderik. The one on the left, seemed to be Elifarm, but the one to the right looked nothing like them. Her skin was dirt green, portions of her body were covered in darker green scales and her hair was covered in numerous braids which were decorated with beads of different shapes and colors. However, her face was covered with a solid white mask.
Yet for something reason, even though her face was not visible, the feeling of a smile underneath the mask was as clear as day.
Once both aliens were securely in the ship, Balderik let the badger go. He then set the human gently on a 'couch' they had. The surrounding area didn't have too much. Just a couch, table, and a few cabinets. "Do you think humans mate with non-humans?" Balderik asked as he sat on the floor near the human.
"They most likely don't. This planet is only filled with humans. They haven't made contact with any other species besides the ones already on Earth. And from what I've observed, humans only mate with other humans and will adopt other creatures into their family ." Elifam explained as he walked away and went into his room.
Balderik frowned as he continued to play with the human's soft hair. "Humans only mate with humans?" he mumbled.
His hair is so soft...different from mine.
As Balderik took his time to play with the human hair, he heard a noise come from the entrance of the ship.
When Balderik looked, the badger was clawing at the door. "If you scratch up anything inside the ship, Slovakia will cook you for dinner." He explained to the badger as he picked it up by the arms and carried it over to the human.
"Let's wait for the human to wake up," he suggested to the badger as he wrapped his tail around the badger, who had no plans to stay still anymore. It continued to growl and struggle in Balderik's grip.
After 10 minutes of contest struggle, it grew so exhausted it fell asleep. All its efforts were in vain.
