Hatred (Part 2)

As soon as I entered the school building, I heard the students talking among themselves vividly.

“Who would have thought that Anna would go that far?”

“Holy shit! Didn't expect that side of her!”

“So everything was an act, huh...”

“What a slut.”

“She was kind of suspicious from the start.”

“There goes my dream of dating her.”

They all gazed at their phones while talking. If I think about it, I did not have the chance yet to check my messages today.

“Hey, you. What are you talking about?” I asked a random student.

“Hiii! Fynn?!” he squeaked.

Was he so scared of me?

“I-I-I did noth-”

Sigh.

“Calm down. I won't do anything.” I said tiredly.

It was great that he knew what his place was but sometimes it could get annoying if I just want to ask something simple like this time.

“W-well... It's about this post...” he replied sheepishly as he showed me his phone.

“Hm?”

My eyes widened for a moment.

Someone posted a photo of Anna meeting a man at a love hotel.

“Our innocent school angel, Anna Deviou, does compensated dating...” I read out the title.

I knew that she toyed around with boys however, I did not know that she would also meet some middle-aged men.

Huh? What's that?

“Why is there also an audio file?”

I just went ahead and played it.

[...Let me tell you! The boys get the chance to hang out with me, the cutest girl they will ever see, Anna Deviou! It's already a bargain if all I ask for in return was a little bit of money! Hell, to make the deal equal, then even a little heartbreak wouldn't be enough! But I'm generous! I'm satisfied as long as I have fun!...]

This was clearly Anna's voice...

The surprise I expressed with my face turned into an excited expression as my mouth formed a grin.

I shoved the phone back to that student and continued walking to my classroom.

“I see...”

So you made her do this... And to be honest, I was genuinely impressed that you would pull such a move. Was this your definition of revenge? Destroying her image that she spent building up her entire life?

It was still morning and yet the surprises did not stop coming.

“Jack?” I said baffled when I entered my classroom.

Jack, who did not attend school yesterday and who did not contact anyone of us for two days, was sitting relaxed on his table.

“W-what's up? I'm back.” he greeted me stiffly.

“What happened to you?” I asked while I was taking my seat.

“W-well, the tournament is next week already and therefore I concentrated on my training so I kind of forgot to look at my phone...” he explained nervously as he scratched the back of his head.

Sigh.

“You can't fool me, you know?”

“W-what do you mean?” he wore a stupid smile on his face.

“I know that Leon did something to you. Anna told me last night.”

His eyes could not hide his shock when I revealed it.

“Tell me what he did.”

I noticed Jack clenching his fists tightly and pressing them on his thighs. He also gritted his teeth and it seemed like a vein was about to burst on his forehead.

“I... I...” he tried to find the words.

Ring!

Before he could even explain, the school bell rang.

“Whatever. I don't care anymore. I guess he used that evidence to blackmail you, correct? Don't worry, as long as you do what I say I'll help you out.” I stated indifferently.

Jack just looked at me with big eyes full of hope. Was I a god in his eyes?

“Follow me during the break.” I added sternly before the teacher entered the room.

That's right. I will launch my plan during the break.

When I woke up today, I called our headmaster to make him send an email to every student in Leon's class except fro him of course. The email should state that everyone must leave the class immediately as soon as the bell rings.

Some may wonder why the headmaster would do something like that. The answer was easy: I had some dirt on him. Not just on him but on every teacher, student and other staff members, too.

As long as they obeyed me, I assured them that I wouldn't leak those information. That was why the headmaster sent the email to everyone without questioning me.

And because I got some dirt on every student, it made it even easier for us to manipulate Leon back then that we were friends. I told the other students that they should either ignore us or act naturally when we were hanging out with Leon. Due to the fear of getting their darkest secrets exposed, they obeyed me without hesitation.

Ring!

It was true. When you felt excited or were having fun, then time truly goes by faster.

“Now come with me, Jack.”

Thus, the two of us exited the class after the bell rang.

“S-so what is your plan?” Jack asked me nervously while he was on his phone.

“?” I turned my face a bit to him.

He sounded even more nervous than usual. And his hands... It's not extreme but why were they shaking?

Whatever. I guess, a part of him was still wary of Leon. I still did not know what exactly happened to Jack but I will get to that later.

“Listen well. I will only explain it once.” I stated as I turned my gaze to the front again.

“Leon and I are going to fight.”

“W-what?!”

“You're going to film us while Leon and I fight. However, something interesting will happen...” I elaborated as I smirked at him with my index finger in front of my mouth.

“...”

Jack did not utter a single word and only left his mouth open in... amazement?

Or he did not understand it...

Sigh.

“Well, the main idea is to forge false material.” I explained as I shrugged my shoulders in disappointment.

“False material?”

What a pain.

“You don't have to understand it. Either way, I have no time left to explain it to you.” I said as I stopped in front of a door.

“Just remember to record everything, okay?”

I knew that he was confused by all this but I was satisfied when he just nodded his head.

“Loosen up a bit, will you? Let's celebrate our victory tonight.” I tried to lighten up the mood.

I talked about a celebration but I doubted that Anna would participate in her current state.

“There are two outcomes.” I said as I put my hand on the door knob.

“There is the option of reaching a stalemate. We will use today's recording to threaten him if he wants to expose the drug incident. If he's smart then he won't use that evidence anymore.”

“And what's the other option?” Jack asked.

“Well...”

The smirk I had until now vanished and was replaced by a stern expression when I opened the door.

“...I guess, he will have to die then.”
