Show Time

This was the mission Fulgor took more seriously in his life. He dodged crowds of people, passing through couples eating apples and groups of friends participating in games.

More than one time he saw Auron jumping high in the sky and every time he felt relief mixed with anxiety. He knew Auron had yet not found Lapis, but his movements were way more efficient than his.

He hoped that Iky could do it as the park was too big for him to do it alone.

While the boys were hunting for Lapis, she found an open place of grass with less people on it, she sat under a tree noticing the stage where a show was going to happen soon. Lapis did not know what to feel, it was too much for her.

She opened her cellphone noticing messages from Fulgor. He and Auron did not care that she liked to do masculine things; they were good company, even if a little weird sometimes. She was ready to answer Fulgor when a voice came.

“Of course, you are hiding here. No one asked you on a date during the festival? I actually don’t blame them, I know I wouldn’t like to pass this day with someone like you.”

It was Enger, with his red hair and malicious smile approaching Lapis. Just by seeing his face she could feel her blood coming to her head.

“I’m not in a good mood, Enger, leave me alone.”

“Is it because no one wanted to go on a date with you? If you looked more like a girl I think you would have more options.”

Lapis allowed herself to feel all the anger she had. With a heavy step, stones flew around her, Enger showed fear in his eyes, but he tried to fake it.

“Are you going to attack me? What a brute way to deal with your problems, I shouldn’t expect anything different from you.”

“If you know that you should go away right now!”

While Lapis was ready to attack Enger, Iky found Fulgor in the middle of the crowd.

“My good sir, I found lady Lapis.”

“Great! Take me there.”

“I should tell you that mister Auron was close too, he will arrive there shortly.”

Without caring with the people of the festival, Fulgor entered his first release, running as fast as he could while his sparks affected the electronics of everyone around.

Focused on the mission, his eyes met Lapis and he saw nothing more. Close was Auron, almost flying, also in his first release going in the same direction.

“Hurry, sir, Auron is almost there.”

The two boys completely ignored the presence of Enger and they stopped where the boy was. With the strong winds and sparks, Enger was thrown to the middle of the stage incapable of defending himself..

“Lapis, I want to tell you something.”

Both boys said at the same time. Soon they noticed her face, like she was ready to cry and the stones floating around her.

“What happened? Are you alright?” Asked Fulgor.

She just started crying and both boys hugged her, trying to be comforting.

The region around the stage was starting to fill, but the trio were by the side, under a tree in a more isolated area.

“Everything is so hard; I don’t know what to do.” Cried Lapis, as Fulgor and Auron felt helpless to do something besides being there.

Kazen and Alis had arrived at the stage with Miles and Barb also close, but none of them noticed the situation with the trio, just preparing to see the show.

“We are here for you, Lapis. You can count on us for anything.” Said Auron.

“For sure! We will always be with you.”

At this point none of the boys were thinking about the date, they just wanted to be with their friend, even if she could not explain what was happening.

“Thank you guys, I think I’m already better just by having you here.”

She tried to force a smile and enjoy the moment instead of becoming trapped in her thoughts again. Auron, noticing she wanted to stay with them and not talking about her problem, thought in an altruistic way to the experience being better to everyone.

“You know Lapis, actually Fulgor had something to tell you.”

Fulgor felt his face become red as he did not expect that Auron would allow himself to declare his love.

“You know… I want to know if…”

He barely could speak, as the show was ready to start. Enger just got up with his head hurt and a man got there. He was very muscular, not wearing a shirt and with spiked dark brown hair.

“Excuse me, you are on my stage.”

Enger was too confused to answer but that just got worse. With a kick, the man threw Enger away from his stage and the view of anyone there.

“Who is ready for a show!?” The man screamed as the audience got hyped up.

Kazen and Alis noticed the weird behavior with Enger and stared at the muscular man trying to understand if he was a threat.

By the tree, Fulgor was ready to finally say everything he felt.

“Lapis, the truth is…”

The man on the stage picked up the microphone and it was impossible to ignore his loud words.

“Are you ready for the great Carmil? By the end of this show I will have all the Elemental Stars in this festival!”

The public doesn't appear to understand as they were expecting the music. Bothe Kazen’s and Fulgor’s group had their attention stolen by the man.

“One second Alis.”

Kazen jumped 9 meters up, entering his third release as the other elementals were expecting a one hit knockout.

“No, no, no. We are going to do this with more love.” Said Carmil pointing his finger to Kazen and the audience.

Pink arrows with hearts came from his fingers, hitting Kazen and everybody in the audience.

“I like to see you try to defeat me while hunting for what is on your heart.” Said Carmil singing his words.

Kazen turned to Alis, landing by her side. He looked at her like he was in a trance. It was almost possible to see the hearts floating from his eyes.

“Alis, you are what I want. Be with me, forever!”

Alis was barely paying attention to him, as she grabbed her cellphone, calling her ex.

“I need to get back with him.”

It was not just Kazen and Alis, the whole audience entered in a chaos pursuing their loved ones. Couples separated as their true loves were someone else and others, like Miles and Barb, were deeply staring at each other’s eyes making loving promises.

“Now I need to know where are the three special kids with the stars I want.”

Fulgor and Auron were ready to a fight realizing they should not be hit by the pink arrows or they would be incapacitated.
