Chapter 6:
When The Alien Mets the Killer
As Selvika continued to show things to Aiden, and Balderik continued to look for him, something went unnoticed. The Bone Whip changed, it was like the spine had shrunk into the handle of the bone, making it seem like a random and plain bone, and the cravings changed form too. Instead of unreadable letters, it spelled AIDEN.
"What about this?!" Selvika pulled out a gun from the bag. "Oh!" Aiden said as he quickly grabbed it from her. From the way she was swinging around the gun, he was afraid she was accidentally going to pull the trigger.
"What does this do?!"
Aiden didn't know how an alien got her hands on a gun, but he checked if the gun was loaded, thankfully it wasn't.
"So what does-"
The ship's lights started to blink red and Selvika's cheerful expression turned into a frightened one. She ran out of the room, completely forgetting about Aiden.
She was met with Balderik and Elifam, who wore the same expressions, "Elifam, get the ship running. Selvika, get our guns ready." Balderik quickly ordered.
They rushed to get their orders done while Balderik went into Selvika's room, and threw Aiden over his shoulder. "Sorry for being rough."
Balderik wasted no time in going into the room Elifam was in, the control room, and strapped Aiden into one of the seats. "Do. Not. Get. Out. Of. This. Seat." Balderik cautioned.
"..." Aiden didn't say anything because he was in his thoughts. Why do I feel like a ragdoll?
Aiden attempted to undo his belt buckle because he wanted to get the badger but Balderik slapped his hand away. "Stay," Balderik said with a serious and dark tone.
At the same time, Elifam started the ship's engine and Selvika ran into the run in a clear panic. "The weapons are all down!"
Elifam, "WHAT?!"
Balderik, "WHY? WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"I don't know. The weapons were fine the last time I checked." Selvika hesitated, "I don't know what happened."
"It's fine. Elifam, get us off this planet. Selvika, get rid of any of the human things you brought on the ship. Erase every trace of it." Balderik ordered Selvika. She quickly ran out to do as she was told.
"What about the human?" Elifam asked.
"I'll deal with-"
"No. I mean the human is gone," Elifam said. Balderik quickly turned around only to find an empty seat.
"Fuck!" Balderik ran out of the room in a panic.
Aiden had been frantically looking for the badger but was thrown across the room with the force of the ship's takeoff. Fortunately, the badger had been thrown into his lap. "You're heavier than you look," Aiden commented as he picked up the badger.
From the corner of his eyes, he saw the handle of the Bone Whip next to him and he picked it up. What is that? Why does it say my name?
Aiden was unable to recognize the whip but he felt strangely drawn to it. Well....since it has my name on it....it's mine...right? Finders keepers, losers sweepers.
He quickly grabbed it and tucked it in his pocket. "Let's go, I don't think we're supposed to be walking around," Aiden said as he got off the floor, and started to head back to the control room. Before Aiden got to take a step, something grabbed his hand. It was Balderik.
"Didn't I just tell you not to get out of the seat?" Balderik said with a heated voice
"Relax. I was just getting the stupid badger!" Aiden said as he slapped his hand away from Balderik. He couldn't understand what he had said, but since Balderik kept Aiden from undoing the belt buckle, he could mostly figure out what he had said.
"Balderik! Hold on to something!" Elifam yelled from the control room. However, the warning came too late and Balderik didn't have time to move before the ship took a sudden turn sight to the sky.
Not having anything to hold them down, Aiden and Balderik were thrown to the back of the ship.
Aiden had his eyes closed and a deathly tight grip on the badger. Balderik was used to being thrown from inside the ship, as a result, he was unfazed. He grabbed Aiden into his arms and wrapped his long tail around Aiden's waist.
As Balderik hit the wall, other objects from inside the ship also smashed beside him. Balderik tightened his grip to keep anything from hitting the human.
Once Elifam had reached space he leveled out the ship, and Balderik and Aiden both fell to the floor.
"Are you ok?" Balderik asked as he loosened his grip on Aiden. Aiden didn't give any type of reply to Balderik, rather he looked down to check on the Badger.
The badger looked up at Aiden before he suddenly ran out of Aiden's arm. Aiden tried to chase him again but Balderik grabbed hold of Aiden first. "You're coming with me," Balderik said as he pulled Aiden.
He took Aiden to the corner of the room. He took his hand off of Aiden, instead, he used his tail to hold on to Aiden. He kneeled to the floor and took out a vent gate, and pulled Aiden close to him.
"Balderik! Selvika! The enforcers are right on our ass! Hurry it up!" Elifam yelled from the control room.
Right after he had finished yelling, "Attention, this is the enforcers. If your ship is not stopped then you will all be executed for breaking, law 45. This will be your last and final warning!"
"Balderik!" Elifam yelled. Balderik mainly made decisions involving enforcers, so Balderik would decide if they would keep flying or stop their ship.
"Selvika!" Balderik yelled, wanting to know if she had gotten rid of the human's items. "I'm done!" Selvika shouted as she rushed to his side.
"Stop the ship Elifam. We'll let them come in," Balderik said as he pulled the human to himself. "Selvika, let them inside the ship."
"You need to hide. Do not come out, no matter what! You will die!" Balderik warned as he shoved Aiden into the vent.
"Wait- you can't-'' Aiden didn't get to finish before Balderik covered his mouth with his hand and shook his head in disapproval.
Aiden understood and simply nodded before Balderik shoved him inside the vent and put the gate back on.
As their ship came to a stop, the enforcer's ship stopped right beside them. A long tube connected one ship to the other. 4 very large aliens walked out of the ship. "If you see anything on the ship relating to earth, kill them all." The largest alien said ordering in a stern and emotionless voice.
