#12: Getting to know each other pt.02

The next place to visit is Mann's, and Mann instructed his friends to visit them very early

Ren: those smiles yesterday, don't you think we should just have an online meeting instead of visiting him at their house?

Kim: would be weird if we let him come to our place and not to his

Genesis: yeah, I am really free today, would be a waste not visiting their place ( he just come to avoid cleaning their house while both his parents are at their work )

It was already noon when the 3 arrived at Mann's place

Mann: heeey! You're finally heeere! (running towards his 3 friends)

Kim: what the hell, you look like you've been in war

Ren: and your smell, what the hell were you doing?

Genesis: what are those baby stuff in your hands? And what are you into? Shouldn't this be a rest day for everyone?

Mann: forget about that ( takes a deep breath, and with positivity he said ) do you wanna go on an adventuuure!

Genesis, Ren & Kim: ( screaming in their head ) I don't really want to clean their house!

( and before the 3 can even move Mann takes their things and bring them to their house )

Inside their house

Genesis: ( looking to the picture frame in the living area ) wow, your clan is really big

Ren: yeah, 25 in total, must be fun huh

Kim: but all of you look the same, the blood is really thick huh

Mann: hahaha! Do you think so? Well, of course, those people in that picture are not just any family, they are my actual family

Kim: I mean yeah, clan right?

Mann: no, my family, like my 1st tier family

Ren: yeah, relatives in other branches right?

Mann: no, no, they are 1st strings family

Genesis: like your father and mother are those standing in the middle and the rest are your siblings?

Mann: hahaha! Yeah, your goddamn right!

( Genesis, Ren & Kim drop their jaws as they heard that Mann has 22 siblings and both his parents looks really young )

Genesis: where did your parents kidnap those kids?!

Ren: are you sure that all of you are blood-related, maybe they are those missing children that we heard on the news

Kim: do you want my help? I can ask my ghost friends to investigate if these people are your actual family?!

Mann: hahaha! I get that all the time whenever some of my sibling friends come here or some of my parent's business partners or friends visit our humble house

Kim: so what do your parents do for a living? I mean, must be hard to keep this family of size to be afloat in a very demanding society right? Everyday expenses and needs

Mann: sure it does tax a lot, not for just my parents

Ren: what do you mean? 

Mann: my 8 other older siblings are already working, 2 are married and the other 6 are helping us with our day-to-day expenses

Genesis: so there are 14 other sibling that lives here, quite tough huh

Mann: yeah, and we always understand each other so arguments are easily talked about and fixed by

Genesis: so what are your parent's jobs? They must be in a family business, right? 

Mann: your goddamn right! My father has a fishing boat and some of my other older siblings are with my uncles helping to get a more bountiful catch, while my mother and some of my female siblings and aunts work in the market as salespeople

Ren: Wow! They are coordinating pretty well, your family must be hauling large sums of money daily huh?

Mann: Nah, the money is always divided into equal amounts and as I said earlier, even though some of my siblings are already working, our expenses are just enough for our monthly needs, so believe it or not, I was never sick since I was small

Kim: really?! That's incredible, so what's the secret?

Mann: once upon a time, my father gets sick really bad and we need to admit him to the hospital, bills after bills until it almost got to a point where some of my really young siblings were almost taken by some of our relatives so we can still keep our heads afloat, luckily, my father, by some miracle, gets healthy and by that time, all of us promised to never get sick, 1st it's expensive and it worries us all a lot

Ren: so almost all your possession are hand me down?

Mann: yeah, but not all my belongings are, for example, my uniform

( and his 3 friends get teary as they heard that their friend has only his uniform as his original possession )

Mann: I mean it's ok, from time to time I get new things

Genesis: like what?

Mann: let's see, like that free calendar from the store where I always buy stuff, or that free t-shirt from the cleaning people that clean the road early in the morning, or that free Tupperware from food giveaways, I mean I get a lot of things from time to time

Genesis, Ren & Kim: ( they hold their friend's shoulder and said ) don't worry, life favors the humble and those people who can wait, the sun will shine on you one day, our friend

Mann: hahaha! I hope so, not getting Vitamin D is really bad you know ( he means that the buildings around their area are blocking the sun's trajectory that was supposed to hit their house )

Genesis: so tell us about the people in this family picture

Mann: sure, starting from left, our older brother, Juan Pablo, then Två Specchio my older sister, ( and he said all his other sibling's names without taking a breath )

Ren: wow, you remember them all really well

Mann: I mean their first names are numbers in different languages anyways so it's kinda easy to remember

Kim: then how come that yours was not?

Mann: ahh, well, there's a story about that, when my mom was carrying me in her belly, she has a habit of constantly going to the cr, and one day, she already feel that I was coming out so she sat in between the Man and Woman's comfort room, and there you go, as soon as my father gave me to my mother and them founding out that I was a baby boy, they name me Mann, as I was born in between the Male and Female cr

Genesis, Ren & Kim: ( can't believe what their friend just told them ) what lore!

Mann: ( without hesitation he said to his friends ) so are you ready?

Genesis, Ren & Kim: what ready?

Mann: ( wears his hat and said ) to the grand adventure!

( Genesis, Ren, and Kim's reflexes kick in as soon as they heard Mann saying those lines and they were about to run away, but then they felt sorry for their friend, so they halt and said )

Genesis: sure my friend, to the end of the world!

Ren: all for one, one for all, we can do this

Kim: by the power of the almighty, we shall go forth to the unknown

Mann: ( wipes his eyes as he never expected his friends to actually help him clean the house ) you guys!

And they began their adventure and the 1st one to engage in the battle was Kim

Kim: this one is, I think is just too much

Mann: you can handle that, we trust you!

Genesis: we've already talked about this, you are the right hero for this job

Kim: even though I have extra protection called eyeglass, I think I can't handle this

Ren: don't worry, if you fall, we will collect your dead body

Kim: ( starts banging the door ) arggggh!!! Open the door! I can't handle this anymore!

( the 4 friends played rock, paper, scissors earlier, and Kim loses the game, so for the 1st problem, it was his turn, he entered a dark room, but when he turned the light on, he saw the bursting clogged toilet bowl, the dirty stuff in it are already flowing in the floor and Kim was screaming on his lungs just to get out of that room )

Kim: argggh!!! Heeelp!!! I can't do this!!!

(and with no other ways to deal with the problem, Kim asked the nearby ghosts to fix the toilet bowl and clean the comfort room in exchange for them using his body to call their living relatives)

The next turn is Ren

Ren: well that was easy, maybe you need more

Mann: ( in shock to witness the things in front of him ) I never saw this amount of vegetables in my whole life

Genesis: ( holds Mann's shoulder ) one day, you must enjoy meat

Mann: really? but I only get meat on my birthday

Kim: ( wipes his eyes and said ) we've always thought that you were a vegan so we never offer you any of our meat foods during lunchtime

Mann: huh? Are you crazy? I only ate vegetable cause that's the only thing that is on our menu, I mean fish is still meat, right?

Ren: your right, what fish are you talking about, tuna, salmon, what is it?

Mann: Inca, the most delicious fish!

Ren: what's Inca? Never heard of it

Mann: the hell, you're the richest in our group and you never heard of it, wait here ( he then goes to their kitchen, then go back and shows his friends what he means ) this, my father always told us that these fishes are kinda stupid 

Genesis, Ren & Kim: ( they do a facepalm and said to themselves ) we never thought that he means fishes in cans!

And Genesis takes the last turn

Genesis: was that all?

Mann: you crazy genius freeeak!!!

( Genesis fixed their house by using his latest invention called the "One for all Screwdriver", which can fix anything, from drainage to wall problems, easy peasy, and Genesis did the job that usually lasts for days in 10 minutes )

And the time has come

Mann: are you ready guys?

Genesis: we're here for you to our last breath

Ren: we're already here, a point of no return, for glory my friends

Kim: may we achieve great success, win or lose, I'm with you guys

And the 4 friends look at each other 

Mann: for glooory!!!

Genesis: Yeeeah!!!

Ren: To Waaar!!!

Kim: to the end of the Wooorld!!!

( and the 4 friends engage with their final foe, decimating it pieces by pieces, with no mercy to whatever their hands can hold onto )

And the 4 friends deal with the younger siblings of Mann, from the babies who are crying to the young ones who can already do the light work in the house. Kim was feeding the babies and really young ones, Ren was talking to the elementary sibling and friends of Mann's siblings, Genesis was playing with the siblings of Mann that were at the age where they can finally talk and Mann is in the kitchen doing the cooking.

The sun finally sets and it's time to go home

Mann: that adventure was really good, till next time heroes!

Genesis, Ren & Kim: ( talking to themselves inside their heads ) are you freaking serious!

Mann: ( take out something out of his pocket ) ah, yeah, before I forgot, these are for you, my siblings did that for you guys

Genesis: haha, really? they shouldn't have bothered

Ren: I guess we need to treasure this one

Kim: it's not about the size, it's always the thought that counts

( Mann's siblings make a carton medal for his friends, as thanks for their hard work )

Mann: hope to see you here again! (waiving to his friends that were walking back to their home while smiling)

Genesis, Ren & Kim: ( waiving back to their friend while smiling and eating the Honey Lemons Slices given to them by Mann )
