Bartender: “Good morning, Miss Morningstar”

Aradia: “Good morning and call me Aradia”

*Aradia grabs her Virgin Pina Colada and goes to sit down on one of the sofas when she’s approached by a drunk idiot*

Random Guy: “Hey”

Aradia: “Hi”

Random Guy: “Oh? How about we go back to my place and have some fun?”

*Just then Lucifer comes from behind grabbing the guy from his collar and lifts him off the ground*

Lucifer: “If I see you anywhere near my Daughter or Lux again, I’ll make you regret the day you ever set foot on this Earth”

*Lucifer checks if Aradia is okay and hugs her*

Aradia: “Oh, Dad”

Lucifer: “I’m really sorry, sweetheart”

Aradia: “It’s okay. I’m just glad you’ve accepted me”

Aradia: “I’m really sorry, for what I said back in Tokyo. It was out of line and I shouldn’t have said that”

Lucifer: “You weren’t wrong. If I were in your place I would have said or done something much worse… actually come to think of it I have. I left Hell and I came here. But before that I did rage a war on Heaven so I guess we’re even”

Aradia: “Why did you say you went through an emotional rollercoaster?”

*Lucifer explains what happened to him*

Lucifer: “So what did you mean when you went through an emotional rollercoaster?”

*Aradia explains what happened to her*

Lucifer: “Do you love him?”

Aradia: “I do. I do love him. I love him so much it hurts, Dad. It really hurts”

Lucifer: “You’re not a monster, Aradia. And I never want to hear you say that again. You’re more angel than I am.”

Aradia: “Just shot once… maybe twice…”

Lucifer: “I’m going to kill them all!”

Aradia: “Dad, please calm down. I’m fine”

Lucifer: “Yes, well. I’m glad you’re okay. But as I was saying, You are worthy of love, Sweetheart. And if I hear you say anything like that again… then… then…”

Aradia: “You can put me in timeout”

A few days after Dad came back to LA, we were on the flight back to Tokyo as he wanted to take care of some things there.

“Okay, seriously. What is the worst prank you’ve pulled on Uncle Amenadiel?” I asked chuckling as I popped a Haribo in my mouth.

“I think the worst prank I pulled was when I switched his shower cream with whipped cream” he laughed making me cover my mouth hiding my smile.

I snickered, “I’ve done worst”

“What?” Dad asked leaning in.

“So, I sorta, kinda, shrunk his robes” I grinned.

Dad looked at me with a stern look.

“Now, now, Aradia. We do not go around shrinking Amenadiel’s robes” he chides.

“Oh.” I say looking down.

“We straight up burn them” Dad whispered before leaning back making me look up surprised.

He burst out laughing making me laugh as well.

“Right!” I say before high fiving him.

A few seconds later we calmed down and looked out the window.

“Hey, Dad. Question”

“Shoot” Dad says.

“What made you change your mind?” I finally asked.

I was trying to build up the courage to ask him, I know Aunt Maze brought him in, but how did she convince him?

He sighed, “ I was wondering when you were going to ask me that”

“You did?”

He nods humming a little.

“When you left I started thinking, a few hours later there was a knock on my door and Maze was standing there looking, let’s admit it scarier than usual. She grabbed me from my collar and started screaming in my face, I managed to pry her off me but she then pinned me with her dagger to my throat.” he chuckles.

“Anyways, she explained everything and told me that Amenadiel had told her that you are my daughter. I called Amenadiel to confirm this and when he did, I didn’t bother booking a flight or packing or anything like that. I just straight up flew back to LA with Maze, by the time we arrived it was morning. And that was when I saw some idiot trying to get close to you, so as your Dad I did what I had to” he shrugged.

I hugged him tight as he wrapped his arm around me.

“But what hurt the most was when Maze told me what you said about being incapable of love. Princess, you are capable of love and I NEVER want to hear you say that again, understood?” Dad says gently but firmly.

I nod.

“Promise me” he said, his eyebrows raised.

I stick my pinkie out and gesture for Dad to do the same once he has I twirl mine around his.

“Cross my heart. Hope to fly. Stick a cupcake in my eye” I say as Dad laughs.

I remember when I said that to the Detective and have to quickly blink the tears and swallow the lump away.

Come on, Aradia! Get a grip, you have to forget about him.

“Dad why are we going back to Tokyo?” I asked, changing the subject to distract myself.

“I am thinking of putting my house up. I’m moving back to LA for good” he smiled as I felt my face light up.

“So, we’re going to be handling Lux together?” I asked, excitedly.

I don’t want to go back to Hell anymore. I know my sole mission was to bring Dad back, but Earth isn’t that bad. Besides Dad doesn’t want to go back and I don’t want to lose him again.

“Yes.” He chuckled.

“Yayyy” I cheered.

I relaxed against Dad’s shoulder and before I know it I felt my eyes grow heavy, I didn’t realise when I fell asleep and woke up to someone shaking my shoulder.

“Go away!” I whined pulling the blanket up over my head.

I heard a deep laugh before the blanket is gently pulled off of my head.

“Princess, we’re in Tokyo” I heard Dad’s voice.

I stretched yawning and rubbed my eye, I looked around, nodded, and put the blanket over my head again.

“Night, night”

“What do you mean, Night, night?” Dad asked his voice laced with amusement.

Before I know it he hooks his arms under my legs and had one hand on my back as he easily picked me up.

“Daddy!” I whined, placing my head on his shoulder.

I felt his chest vibrate as he laughs as soon we’re in a car. I stretch once more and this time I’m more awake. I take my phone out and decide to play Poker.

“How are you so good?” Dad asked looking over.

“Uncle Hades taught me” I told him without looking up from my phone.

“When did you meet the Olympians?” he asked.

“When he got married to Aunt Persephone. He invited Uncle Amenadiel since they’re friends but he couldn’t make it so he told me to go” I smiled.

“Oh by the way, we have a pet” I told him, putting my phone away.

“What pet?” Dad asked raising his eyebrow.

“Cerberus” I grinned.

“You went to the Underworld and brought home a Cerberus?” he asked surprised.

I shook my head, “No. I won them in a Poker game against Uncle Hades”

“That’s my Girl!” Dad grinned.

I chuckled before putting my phone away.

“Do you want to play one day?” I asked him.

“Of course I would” he smiled.

“Yayyy” I cheered like a little girl making Dad chuckle.

Half an hour later we were standing outside Dad’s house. I helped Dad organise everything into piles and put them all in boxes which I then labelled with a Black Felt Pen.

“Okay. So are these all the things Dad?” I asked.

He nodded, “Yup”

“Now are you sure we’re not missing anything?” I ask.

I want him to be 100% sure, I don’t want to turn around because he’s forgotten something.

I want to leave as soon as possible. I don’t want to accidently bump into him…

“Are you okay, Princess?” Dad asks me.

I nod but he gives me a look and pats the back of the sofa telling me to sit down.

“I know something’s bothering you” Dad says.

I look down and tuck my hair behind my ear.

“I don’t want to bump into him, Dad” I say and feel a lump form in my throat.

God! Just thinking about him makes me want to break everything around me while crying.

He pulls me in a hug and pats my head.

“I’m sorry, Princess. I should have come alone” he says, sadly.

I sniff, wiping my nose with my sweatshirt and shake my head.

“It’s fine. Besides I wanted to come” I rub my eyes and replace the frown on my face with a smile.

“Okay” I say jumping off the sofa.

“Let’s get these to the car”

I pick up a box and take it to the car, I place it on the ground before popping the boot open and putting it inside.

Soon enough we have everything inside the car and we are off on the road again.

“Where were you staying all this time?” Dad asked.

I bit my lip contemplating before I exhale slowly.

“How about I take you there?” I say, turning to look at him as I was looking out of the window before.

“Are you sure?” Dad asks, concerned.

I nod with a smile.

As I’m driving I decide to pick up the speed a little, the sooner we get there, the sooner I can give Dad a quick tour inside and then leave.

About 20 minutes later we were there.

“Let’s go” I tell Dad after taking the seatbelt off.

“Dad?” I say looking towards him.

He’s just frozen there as he looks straight ahead not responding to anything.

Well done, Aradia! You broke Dad!

“Daddy” I say shaking his arm.

“I’m alive?!” he asks making me look at him weirdly.

“Dad, we’re celestials. We’re immortal” I chuckle.

“Oh, right. Let’s go then” Dad says in a perfectly normal tone before getting out making me laugh.

I open the door of my side when Dad pushes me back in.

“Ah, ah, ah. Get back in” he says.

I look at him confused before he opens the door and puts his hand out, a smile on his face.

“Dad?” I chuckle.

“Just showing you how you’re supposed to be treated. If it were up to me I wouldn’t let any boy near you, but I guess you’re at that age when… you know” he shrugs.

“But you’re still my little girl” he pouts making me laugh.

“Oh, Dad” I say giving him a hug.

“Don’t worry I’m not going anywhere” I says.

“Phew”

I chuckle shaking my head at Dad’s reaction.

“Come” he says holding his arm out.

I smile looping my arm through and we walk up to the door, I was just about to open it when I heard a voice.

“Aradia-san”

No! No, please. Please don’t let it be him.

I turn around and am met with the same moon-coloured eyes I was trying to avoid during our trip back to Tokyo.

“Hello, Detective”
