Afterword

Hey guys!! Kido here! If you're reading this, then you've made it to the end of Academy Showdown - Book 0 - An Urban Fantasy! How was it? This little novella was nearly three to five years in the making, so I'd love some feedback for the longest story I've ever written! As a huge fan of anime and manga, I was sort of shooting for a light novel style since this story was originally intended to be an OEL manga.

Did you enjoy it? I'm constantly striving to get better, so constructive criticism is always welcome. (Please, go easy on me! ) ≧◡≦

So as I've said before, this is only a glimpse (a prelude, if you will) into the fantastical world of Academy Showdown. You will experience this world through the lens of many (but not too many) characters from many walks of life, where you'll watch them train to become to best mages they can possibly be and help protect the world of Terra from ongoing threats that emerge from beyond The Yolk. Some students may rise through hard work and dedication, while others may fall victim to their vengeance or hubris. Strong bonds will be forged, historic rivalries will renew. Hell, some of them may even fall in love, for better or for worse...

Up next in the series is Academy Showdown - Book I - Rise of the Phoenix. I highly recommend that you read my short story The Barefoot Girl, the first entry of my Academy Showdown Gaiden collection, as there will be chapters that directly reference the events that transpire in that story.
