Lan Du packed the remaining food in containers and placed them neatly into her bag.She then called for security to clean up the people she knocked down and sent them to a specific place.

"Lan Du, what will you do now?"Qui Shan asked

Lan Du let out a small smirk

"You three leave first, I'm going to have a small talk with an acquaintance, it won't take long"said Lan Du as she headed down the hallway.

Xie Jing and Xie Ying had some idea in what Lan Du was going to do, but even so, they wanted to stop her, after all, Gong Lei had a strong background.

"Lan Du, I don't think you should do anything to him, after all, he-"

"Hush, I'm just going to have a small talk, if things get annoying, a small push won't hurt"Lan Du laughed as she stopped in front of a room.

Qui Shan and the twins followed closely behind, Lan Du raised her left foot up and shot a heavy kick at the door.The door shot open, revealing the people behind.

From shock to confusion, they stared at Lan Du.

"Lan Du?Why are you here?"A student from Lan Du's class saw her and recognised her immediately, he asked with a confused face.

Lan Du looked around and found Gong Lei seated near the front.

"Young master Gong, I met some of your good friends in my room, since you were so kind to let them join us, I wanted to repay you with some...service"Lan Du smiled

Gong Lei shuddered, he didn't expect Lan Du to be unscathed despite him sending a dozen people to take care of her.Lan Du's smile grew wider when she saw his confusion.

"Don't worry, I brought your friends over as well"Lan Du snapped her fingers and some people were thrown into the room.

They were the very ones who Lan Du had the security clean up,She had them send it to the front of this room where she had Qui Shan throw them in one after another.

"I-I don't know what you mean, I have never met them before"He said as he tried to calm himself, without evidence, Lan Du can't do anything to him.

Lan Du giggled

"Oh don't be so shy, we had a party back in my room, they just drank too much and knocked themselves out"Lan Du said with a sweet smile

Gong Lei trembled, he could clearly see the bruises on their faces and she still state that they drank too much?What kind of idiot did she think he was?

"Do you think I'm an idiot!They have so much bruises on them, it's obvious what you did to them"He growled

Lan Du remained calm and smiled

"Oh?I really did think you were an idiot, looks like I was wrong, but oh well, having 3 IQ points more than an idiot doesn't make you smart either"Lan Du mocked

Gong Lei was completely enraged, he slammed the table

"Where is the security, someone is making trouble here!"He shouted but no one came in, Lan Du had informed them that Gong Lei was the one who sent those people so they naturally would overlook her actions since she took care of troublemakers.

Lan Du chuckled

"Young master Gong, I tried to make things easy for you, but it seems you want the hard way, the twins...they're mine, I will give you one warning, try and chase after them and you might find grenades in your lunchbox"Lan Du's eyes were sharp but she still had a smile on her face.

Yet, the contras between her words and her expression are completely different, making her seem much more intimidating that she is.

Lan Du walked closer

"I dislike it when others go after what is mine"She placed a hand on the table Gong Lei is on, her voice was now completely cold.

"Y-you, do you know who my father is!"Gong Lei roared

Lan Du took out her phone and typed up something, after some time, she clasped her hands

"Of course I know who he is...now at least"

Her words made Gong Lei choke, what does she mean 'now'?Did she really not know who he was before?This only made him even more infuriated, she actually had to search it up to find out who he was!

"How dare you mock my father!"He roared

"who?"Lan Du tilted her head and asked

Pfft

Gong Lei almost coughed up blood at this point

"My father is Gong Hai Shan!Owner of the Starlight Corporation!"He roared

Lan Du picked up her phone and typed in some more things before 

looking back at Gong Lei

"Ah, so you were his son, erm...Gong, erm, what's your first name again?"Lan Du asked

Gong Lei was now angered to the maximum, he slammed the table and stood up

"I have had enough with you mocking me!"He shouted at the top of his lungs, the students observing were shocked by Lan Du's courage.

Some wanted to laugh but didn't dare offend Gong Lei so they kept it all in.

"When did I mock you?I'm an upright person"Lan Du feigned innocence and said in a confused manner

Veins popped out of Gong Lei's forehead due to pure anger, he started to grind his teeth and his his hands were clenched so tightly it left marks on his palm.

"I will end you!"He roared

Lan Du turned her head

"Security!Someone wants to attack me!"She shouted outImmediately, men rushed in, they pressed Gong Lei down onto the table and turned to Lan Du

"Let go of me!I'm Gong Lei!Heir of the Starlight corporation!"He roared in anger

The security became hesitant, but Lan Du dialled a number and turned on speaker.

"Old man Feng, I got into conflict with someone called Gong...erm, he kid, what' your name again?"Lan DU turned to Gong Lei and asked

Gong Lei was furious

"How dare you mock me, I, Gong Lei will end your whole family!"

Lan Du nodded her head

"Keep thinking that kid, anyways, old man Feng, if I beat him to a pulp, do you think you can handle it?"Lan Du asked cutely

Feng Yilin who was on the other side of the phone began to sweat

"Lad, Gong Lei isn't someone that is-"

"If you can't do it just say so, no need to waste your breath and my time, for goodness sake, you're the head of the Feng family, one of the largest families, just give me a yes or a no"Lan Du said with a hint of annoyance

Feng Yilin paused

"Alright, I can at most prevent him from doing anything to you"He 

sighed and said

Lan Du smirked

"That's enough, but rather than me, I want you to do it for those around me, like I need protection, your guards can't even put a fight against me, much less protect me"Lan Du said arrogantly

Feng Yilin felt a bit bothered by the way Lan Du spoke but remained silent, he nodded his head

"Alright"

Lan Du then hung up and turned to the guards

"How about it?You people now have the Feng family's protection, deal with the kid without worries"Lan DU said with a light smile

The security nodded their heads, with the Feng family backing the restaurant now, they had no fear of Gong Lei's threats.Gong Lei however was stupefied, that also was the same with the other students.Lan DU actually had connections with the Feng family!?

Lan Du glanced at Xie Jing and Xie Ying

"Alright, we can go now, Qui Shan, see you tomorrow"Lan Du said as he led the twins out with her

Qui Shan nodded his head but felt a bit aimless, Lan Du actually had a strong backing as well.The twins also felt the same, now they knew why Lan Du always acted so recklessly.

"Xie Jing, Xie Ying, I have something I need to talk to you about"Lan Du said in a serous manner,

The twins saw her expression and grew curious, it wasn't often they saw Lan Du with that expression so they nodded their heads.

"How about I go to your place today?I should properly greet mother-in-law as well"Lan DU changed her expression and giggled

Xie Jing and Xie Ying began to blush

"a-alright"They muttered

Lan Du followed the two as they led her to their house, to her surprise, they actually lived in a pretty wealthy family.She was surprised that their house was bigger than her house.

"Wow, you two are rich, I guess I'll be living off you two in the future"Lan Du chuckled and said jokingly

The twins blushed simultaneously

"b-bad"They muttered

Lan Du laughed but rubbed their heads

"Let's go in now"She said

The two nodded and entered the front gate.They walked over to the front door of the house and opened the door.Lan Du glanced around, the inside was simple yet elegant.

"Jing'er, Ying'er, you are finally back"Lan Du saw their mother run over as she gave the two a loving hug.

She then saw Lan Du

"Oh, you brought him over as well?"She said in surprise

Lan Du smiled and gave her a wave

"I came here today for two reason, I'll speak of the other reason later, for now, I'm here to greet my future mother, of course, I didn't come empty handed"Lan Du giggled and said

Mother Xie patted her back

"Hahaha, don't worry, don't worry, if my daughters accept you, I won't mind, but just to let you know, they have a lot of suitors and my husband has been looking through suitable suitors for them"Mother 

Xie sighed and said

Lan Du nodded

"No worries, your husband is actually the second reason I came here for, I'm requesting permission to...pummel him a little"Lan Du said with a sweet and adorable smile

"...eh?"

Lan Du's smile became sweeter

"Don't worry, he won't die, just a small beating, he wouldn't even know what hit him"said Lan Du as she made a small gesture

The three were baffled by Lan Du's intention

"What do you mean?Why would you want to harm father?"Xie Jing and Xie Ying asked in concern

Lan Du's smile disappeared

"I hate his attitude, I won't get into details but he ay harm you two in the future for his own benefits"Lan Du said grimly

Xie Jing and Xie Ying paused, if what Lan Du is doing is for them, they wouldn't know how they should react.On one hand is Lan Du, the other is their father, they didn't know how they should pick.

It was at this moment that mother Xie spoke up

"I give full consent, as long as he doesn't find out who you are"She said without hesitation

Lan Du stared at her blankly

"eh?"This time, she was the one who was baffled, was it so easy?

"Cheh, that man was never loyal, he would often be out with other woman and would take extreme actions for small things"She said haughtily, her words left her daughters bewildered.

Lan Du listened and a smile slowly grew on her face

"Perfect, then I'll see myself out for a moment"Lan Du passed a small box to mother Xie and walked out the door with a sadistic smile on her face.

"The incense is a special one that has a light but wonderful smell, it can increase spiritual strength if you are exposed to the smell long enough, it can also help with preserving your skin and keeping it smooth"Lan Du said as she left

Mother Xie opened the box and inside was a small incense holder with a plastic packet beside it.

She smiled and passed it to the twins

"You two take it, he must have bought it for you two"She said gently

"a-alright, but mother, will father be alright?"Xie Jing asked with a fearful expression, her father has treated her and XIe Ying harshly since young so she had always been fearful of him.

If not for Lan Du, she might have been much more shaken up than she is now.Mother Xie laughed

"I hope he gets sent to the hospital, that son-in-law you two got me is perfect, he matches my ideal son"She laughed and headed into her own room.

Xie Ying and Xie Jing glanced at one another before smiling gently, they went to their rooms and lit the incense.The calming smell that emitted from the incense made them feel relaxed and they could feel it nurturing their spiritual strength.

"Lan Du is always so good to us...how can we repay him..."Xie Ying muttered

"For now, the best we can do is stay by his side....I never want to see that expression he made back then again"What Xie Jing referred to was the time Lan DU became too brutal within the virtual training ground that caused fear to rise in the twin's hearts.

That day, Lan Du revealed a sorrowful and betrayed look that they have never seen before, it was then that they vowed to never betray her trust again.

"mn...we should never have doubted him from the beginning"Xie Ying nodded and said

Lan Du who left was now holding a small device in her hand as it tracked the twin's father.She smiled lightly as she slowly approached the dot.She wore a mask on her face and a wig to hide her hair colour.She also wore gloves to prevent fingerprints and wore thick clothes so it was hard to tell her body size.

She had prepared for this the moment she met their father, her preparations was to prevent any clues from being left in the scene.

The closer she got, the more she smiled

Soon, she stood in front of an apartment, she looked down upon the device and the dot was in this apartment.She walked forward and up the stairs.She didn't know which floor he was in, but she knew the exact room he would be in apart from the floors.

She paused and put the small device back into her bag.

"He should be in one of these five rooms, as for which one..."She placed something on he wall, it faced the door of the room she noted down and did the same with the other four floors.The object was so small it could be neglected.

She then left the apartment and sat down at a nearby park.She took out her phone and tapped an icon.Her phone flashed and five split screens were shown.

Each showed a door which was the very one she noted down.Having placed a camera on each floor, she waited for when the man would step out the room.

She sat down on the swing and swung as she waited, she had removed her mask so it wouldn't seem suspicious and made her seem like an everyday student at the park.

"hm"As she was staring at her phone, she heard a curious grunt come from in front of her.She looked up and saw a young man she didn't know.

He walked towards her, rather than asking anything, he stared at her face for a long time.

"Keep looking and I gauge your eyes out"Lan Du said in a threatening manner

The young man didn't seem scared, rather, he seemed amused

"How fierce, I haven't seen kids as fierce as you before"He chuckled and said

Lan Du's face seemed emotionless but in her heart, she was wary of the young man in front of her.

"What do you want"She asked in a bothered tone, she didn't seem to want to talk to him for long and the young man could tell.

"Oh, I was just curious in what you were doing"He replied with a smile, but to Lan DU, she saw it as a sarcastic and fake smile.

She could tell because she had this fake smile on her face almost every time she was on the off planet mission.She stared at him with hostility in her eyes.

"I'm not in the mood to play with you"Lan Du said in a cold manner

The young man only seemed to get more interested

"Now I'm just more curious, how about you tell me and I'll watch in silence"

Lan Du glared at him before turning her head back down to her phone.Just when she did, she saw a woman walk out one of the doors.When she was about to sigh as it wasn't the person she was looking for, she saw the man standing at the doorway, seeing the woman off.

A smile crept onto her face

'The third floor'

She stood up and tucked her phone away, completely ignoring the young man, she walked towards the apartment once again.The young man followed behind her with a smile on his face, his actions made 

Lan Du very annoyed but she didn't say anything.
