The buildup's Big time FInish!

“H-hey mom um can I borrow money for a plane ticket to florida ha ha?”

“228,843.99 yen!!!!! W-well could you uh tell me why?”

“ Well you know how I like to skate and you know how I got second in that last tournament?”

“ Okay keep going!”

“ Well it has a cash prize. I really think I could win this. I can precook a few meals and rechika will go with me so you don’t have to worry!”

“ Fine but you better bring back some honey buns!!! They sound so very tasty! Hurry up and win. I know you can do it Tomiko, I believe in you!”

“ T-thanks mom!!!”

We both started sobbing. I was happy my mom Finally said she believed in my dream.

A few days later we were on the plane and I’m not going to lie. I was nervous because this is my first time leaving japan. Okay It may be weird but Mom never has the time but I will get her enough money to take a break!! That’s my goal for this tournament. Oh yeah I can’t forget the cinnamon rolls!

I’m so glad I remembered Tomi's bad memory when It comes to products We never use. Hopefully she’ll read the note Oh!!!!!!! She better not let me down! Or else!!

Whoa I just got a really intense vibe but from where? man that open red tournament’s made me bored with my everyday life.

The flight soon took off to Florida. I sat next to Reichika during the flight. We had on and off conversations about the tournament until we made a stop in the Bahamas for 2 hours. Me and Reichika got in some practice until we finally arrived.

“ oh so you guys must be here for the tournament heh heh nice boards!”

“ w-who are you? I thought the tournament was girls only?”

“ Well it is but I own the skatepark. I also happen to be looking for a wife so call if you're available!”

Man what a weirdo!!!

We got here a day before the tournament so we had some time to explore. I opened my luggage when I saw mom’s note about getting a honey bun so we went out and got some snacks and drinks and went right to sleep.

The next morning was kind of crazy. We woke up early since we had to practice for the tournament. We ate our breakfast and headed out but there were a whole bunch of homeless people asking us for food.I felt kind of bad for them so I got them some food from our hotel room. Reichika was opposed to this but we had more than enough for a 5 day stay so I made her give some food to this nice old man.

“Thank you so much, god bless you!”

“ y-yeah sure But I don’t believe in your god so don’t bless me!”

“ sorry.”

I think Reichika enjoyed this. She had a bright smile the rest of the way to the skatepark when we got there we saw someone.

“ Oh! We got a visitor?”

Since my dad was from America, he taught me some English. I can hardly speak It properly but I can Speak It decently well at least enough to converse.

“ hi yes we’re japanese!”

“ Ah Sick!”

She was covered in shade before but she stood up and faced us. She looked very cool!

She had white hair, a backwards hat, leather jacket marked puma and black shorts.

“ I’m Camellia, leader of the puma's, the best skater gang in america.”

So in english camellia so that’d be Tsubaki In Japanese wow that’s a sick name!

“ Oh so, I take It Your entering the contest!”

“ Yeah the Puma’s will take yet another victory, we are the best skaters in America of course!”

“ not for much longer since we're now here!”

“ I was second In the open red tournament!”

“ ah! You're an expert are you? Well we were hoping to expand around the world so how would you guys like to be puma’s?”

Really? I Don’t think I’d go for that. I don't want to be used Like that b-but the uniforms are cool. Well, I’ll let Reichika choose for us because I simply don’t know what to do!?

“ reichika It’s your choice.”

What, me?! Well I guess I have to weigh every option but I mean Am I qualified to Make this decision? I mean This Is a Life Changing Decision well I guess she trusts me so For both of us I’ll go!

“ yes we Will But! Since You're such good skaters You Probably Have A Lot of fans am I right?”

“Well we might have a few thousand.”

“ good well We will take this chance to push our agenda of being the best skaters with your publicity I hope.”

“Well Good you know the Weight our group has But you guys speak great english I’m Impressed!”

“ Well, I, take classes!”

“ My dad was from America so he taught me.”

“ ah I see! Well Wherever you learned It from, you learned It well, so welcome to the pumas. You'll get your own custom board and jacket In about A month so text me!”

“ wait! I don’t have a phone that can text b-but Reichika does!”

“ Wait! You don’t have a cell phone, are you a time traveler??? Haha!”

“ well time traveler or not you can only contact her with text messages so uh… could you possibly call meeee!?”

“ Yeah no prob I won’t call unless It’s a Huge Problem so don’t worry. Anyway you guys came to practice for the tournament right? Well, go ahead! I want to see what you’ve got.”

“ FIne but! WE'RE NOT GOIN’ ALL OUT TILL THE TOURNEY SO DON’T THINK THIS IS ALL WE CAN DO!”

Reichika seems really intense oh well I am intense too just Not as verbally!

“ So we skated around a bit then It was time we headed for the All girls tourney In Orange County, Florida. There we were met with 7 other girls. Camella came In behind us so I guess It was another 10 person tournament. Well I’ll crush this one too! With hiroto’s tips I can do it! I don’t know What he is. I like to think of him as my rival but he is more like Maybe A sensei. Haha Never for now I guess he works as my rival?

Well there’s no time to think about that now the tournament is about to start. I wonder If reichika also took his advice? I’ll just have to wait and see.
