Chapter 2 - the man before he was called the Sky Demon Lord ( part 2)

           In his dreams, someone was singing and he saw the goddess again. This time she speaks to him “child… you are blessed yet know that you must prepare for a great battle to come… become strong and you could summon me” Andhera ask her name and she replied, “ I am Eir, I shall guide you in your dreams child, you are not alone in this journey child…” Andhera explains “then please guide me Lady Eir…. She had golden hair and her eyes were emerald jewel and wore armor with a silver shield and a scroll, her wings were beautiful with golden silver wings. Eir said to him “I care for you child….and I love you as a man…” she kiss him in his dream. A Valkyrie feels in loved for Andhera, Andhera knew that this will led to an arduous journey. Eir shared her knowledge with Andhera, he learn in his dreams and Eir explain “Idiva is right you must not reveal your powers to others… I will guide you in your dreams, I know this journey will be arduous yet you prevail as destiny has written in you…” Andhera look at her and said to her “I must go…” Eir smile and wave him goodbye. He awakens and began to see it was morning, he felt refreshed. They all commence their duties as cadets. This time Andhera visit the library to learn farther about the world and he saw a book about gods and angels. He read countless books in the library, a stack of books he read and studied. He began to expand his knowledge about magic, the people, history, and legends. He read about Eir and explain that she is the goddess of Peace and mercy yet not many know about her exploits. She is also known as the shield goddess that passive towards conflict. He began to understand the message from Eir and his personality become passive towards conflict to the point that if nobles tried to bully him he ignored it. Elva always safe him from danger, Eldfir protects him from the nobles and shouts “as a knight we must protect the people of this kingdom..” Honstan always being mischievous trying to use magic to prank the nobles. The four become close friends, and they were known among the academy as the four comrades, Yet some called them the four fools among the nobles as they were in a common background.

Andhera always talks to Idiva about what has happened in the academy, where Idiva explain Shivil “they began to bully him!! I could not bear this!!” Shivil tried to console her “Andhera is a strong boy let him be..” When in his dreams, he talks to Eir about the daily life in the academy, and she hugs him and tried to console him. Eir smiled at Andhera “oh I wish to be on your side, I do wish to see this foolish mortal” Andhera smile at Eir “they are still young and naive, I understand by position…and I wish them well” Eir kiss him again “my beloved Andhera you strong in my eyes, your heart is strong…” The next morning they continued the academy Andhera held his powers and slowly began to show strength as a sage. As time passes, it was summer break and everyone left the academy yet Andhera stayed in the dorm. Gil began his training during the break, Andhera showed promising prowess in his physical abilities, he mastered the weapons in a short period and began to learn warfare tactics. While Merlos teaches him the knowledge of being a merchant, and advanced magic. Merlos wanted to see his summoning abilities where he could summon countless wisps with his side. The wisp also followed his command, Light abilities. Merlos explains to Andhera “you could summon a spirit to fight to your side…” Andhera summon a new spirit called shade a dark spirit, including undine and salamander with gnome and earth spirits. Andhera train himself in the academy during the breaks and began to enter the woods to fight monster where he encounters a slime that he tame it. It evolves into a greater slime, and he also tames the spirit fox who treats him as a pet. Each he tame and renamed the slime he called “Pun” and the Spirit fox he called “Fino” he also began to tame a spirit bird called “Sil” Merlos saw his abilities expand tremendously.

Andhera explain “Master Merlos I would like to help the academy, if you would I would like to be the janitor of this academy” Merlos laughed “be the librarian… and help the gardening, if you are free then help the janitor for the cleaning” Andhera started to work as a temporary staff of the academy. He is well known among the staff, helping the staff in the academy Merlos began to pay him a salary yet he knew her mother will always bring money to him. Andhera explain that he work there helping the academy and they paid him. Shivil said to Andhera “if you want money I will send you. You don’t need to work..” Andhera said he loved the academy where the people there are friendly and helpful. During the night, Shivil and Idiva stayed in their dorm. They slept together and Idiva said to Andhera “come, son, I will cook for you and Shivil” Andhera help Idiva prepare food only to see Gil and Melros were waiting in the mess room to eat. Andhera felt family ties with them, When in his dream, he talks to Eir like a lover together. Eir smiled “I m happy that you are with your family…” they held hands together in the dreams. It was happy moments in dreams, as he awaken with Idiva and Shivil with him. Summer breaks move quickly and it enters autumn when the trees began to fall signaling the coming winter. Andhera began to learn inventions and machines where he could control an airship. In secret, Andhera walks alone in the silent halls and smiles.

In the next dream he did not encounter Eir yet another Valkyrie and this time is another goddess it is now a different one, a silver armor with dark hair with teal eyes introduce herself “I am Skuld, Eir's good friend…. please… be prudent, Eir always talk about you… I am concerned for her yet I understand her…” Andhera explains that he knew that it will an arduous journey and he was concerned because it is forbidden to love a goddess. Skuld warn that another god is envious of you his name is Nergal the god of war, yet Eir did not like him as he is violent…” Andhera wanted to help yet he knew it will endanger and Skuld explain “she loved you more than anything and wanted to be on your side yet I realize you have grown strength that is equal to us Valkyries, Nergal is always a lustful bastard yet I knew this and wanted to help you and Eir just for her sake….please as her friend don’t make her cry…” Andhera smile and explain “she is someone that I could not bear to lose….she saved me from my fated demise, I knew that she intervene the destiny…” Skuld was surprised and Andhera explain from what he has learned from books and knowledge from his teacher. Andhera explains “she will be exile is it?” Skuld nod and sadden, Andhera convinces her that If she is banished he will find her to be on his side. Skuld felt relief and said, “I hope it does not lead to that…” Andhera prayed as well. Skuld explain the high Lord Elvinus knew this and wanted Nergal not to get involved. Andhera explains how that he could be there to meet Eir, Skuld explain only a Valkyrie could be there. Elvinus was there introducing himself “I am Elvinus the master of this realm it seems you have taken the heart of my Valkyrie yet I treated her like a daughter. There is a beast that could travel to this realm yet it is only known as a sky dragon, Fafnir may know this dragon seek him and he will guide you…” Andhera felt it is time to return and bowed at the High Lord as Elvinus said “you are the light for Eir in her darkness…” As he awakens he began to research about the sky dragon and its name. During his search in the library a name came ‘Mireu’ and he trains again and asks the wisp about the dragon the wisp replied, “only the chosen one could you ride it…” Andhera knew it and began in secret to tame the dragon where he used his home-built airship to fly towards the mountain of dragons where Fafnir rule there. With his ability to talk to the beast, he reaches the place where Fafnir resides. Fafnir was not an ordinary dragon where his tremendous size towers over mountains and he reaches there and talks to the dragon king. Fafnir explains “Mireu is always in the skies where the cloud met the stars, if you seek to reach the realm of the gods, Mireu will help you. Yet you must do me a favor, Andhera listens to Fafnir's request. Fafnir wanted to stop a rampaging Earth Dragon that terrorise a shire where the people there worship Fafnir. Andhera reaches there only to surprise him it is not an easy task and he returns to the academy to prepare. Where Merlos and Gil were waiting for him.
