Chapter 2 - the man before he was called the Sky Demon Lord ( part 3)

         Upon reaching the academy, he heads towards his dorm preparing for a short trip before the next coming semester. Master Merlos meets him and asks him “indeed going to battle to see you in this endeavor what have you been up child? Andhera replied “Fafnir requested my help in defeating the Earth Dragon….if I want to meet Mireu the sky dragon” Merlos was surprised “Fafnir!? The Dragon King, how did you meet him?!” Andhera explains that he meets with another god in his dream to accept another mission to seek Fafnir’s help. Merlos explains to Andhera “Idiva will simply never going to agree with this, I know your path, understand it will be arduous yet please child not a word to your mother nor your father…. Once they discover this…. They will protect you from harm child….you are special to them….” Andhera assures Merlos “I promise I will return before the semester… yet something in my heart I must complete this task….” Gil suddenly interrupts “then use this sword, and shield…” Gil gave a magical sword and shield “this is Maxmillian Shield made from combining Platinum, Mythril, Titanium including a magic stone. This sword is made from the strongest material made by this age” a curved sword and a small round shield were given to him. Andhera bowed down and look down, he was ashamed to burden them. Gil explain “this is a test whether you are going to be the Paladin that we envision…” Merlos explain “do not forget what you have learned in this academy, do not panic in comes of battle, panic always led to chaos…” Andhera smile at them and said to them “I will make Master proud and my mother proud…” Andhera embarks on his journey toward the place Fafnir explains about the rampaging Earth-Dragon. Gil suddenly received a call from the messenger explaining there is an attack from the outpost that had been attacked by a dragon. Merlos said to Gil “as if a blessing from the gods….” Gil then smiles “it seems the creator has been planning all of this…be safe Andhera child… our great Paladin” Idiva felt a surge in her heart yet she overlook it. She has also had a dream, and it's Eir whom she meets.

Eir introduces herself to Idiva and explains that she is the one that protected Andhera and guide him to the path destined for him. Idiva bowed at Eir “thank you… this gift…this blessing…it is all thanks to Lady Eir…” Eir explains that he is special and also special to her. Idiva smiled and said to Eir “you been there for him, and he is not alone…thank you” she began to shed her tears and Eir began her proposal to Idiva “I love him not as child nor subject but as a man ever since he was born….because his heart that shine” Idiva smile at her then “I am honored to have someone that loved him” she smiles and hold Eir hand “please always be with him…” Eir smiled as Idiva left the dream realm. Skuld met her and explain that she met Andhera and Elvinus asked him a task. Eir was shocked to hear this and seek Elvinus “my lord is it already time!?” Elvinus explains “this child is our chosen one, Fafnir requested our aid and he accept it, I sent the child to defeat the Mad Earth Dragon or we called the Fallen Dragon…” Eir’s heart stopped at the moment yet she knew this was a trial that Andhera must pass alone. Andhera was approaching the place where the Earth Dragon and he saw the dragon begin attacking a small human outpost. The sheer size of that dragon was large enough that simply stomping its foot was enough to destroy a small squad of troops. Andhera landed there and help the people there to evacuate from the outpost. He orders the guards to lead the people outside of the battlefield. Andhera use his magic to mask his true looks, he healed the injured and revive the fallen. Once he settles with the people he asks them to avoid the dragon. He heads toward the dragon, some of the guards wanted to help him and Andhera explains that the Earth dragon is immune to normal attacks. He wanted to lure the Earth dragon out of the outpost to an empty land. Andhera reaches the designated place where there is a river and waterfall. With the alchemy that he learn from himself and Merlos he set the stone and set it to explosive properties “Stone properties adding fire, air, poison…” he threw the stone and it exploded. Guards that witnessed could not believe that a person fought the dragon alone. Yet they can’t see the face of Andhera. Andhera continued the explosion attack, hurting the dragon. Elvinus spoke to him and ask him the reason for weakening the dragon instead of killing it. Andhera explains that he will tame the dragon to be his partner. Andhera summon all of the spirit and beings that he possesses. Elvinus held his head “this boy…” he smile “indeed we have found the chosen one…Eir did something about this although indirectly…..his love for her that made this…” The slime locks the leg of the dragon, the spirit fox called the wind to disorient the Dragon, and the Spirit bird uses the sun to create Sunray. All of the spirits helped Andhera slowly begin to weaken the Dragon. The dragon was on its knee, and a witness who saw from afar was shocked “he took down the dragon!” Andhera sheath his sword and head towards the dragon and held its head and began to communicate with the dragon. Andhera said to the dragon “mighty dragon what have you become and why you attacked the outpost?” The Earth dragon responds “child thank you for stopping me, I have no control over my body….” Andhera knew this is a curse or someone that trying to manipulate the dragon. He uses his power to trace the source revealing an image of a man smiling at the dragon. He break the spell and the dragon returned to its natural self. The dragon bowed at the child and he wanted to return the favor, Andhera ask him to leave the place and meet Fafnir. The dragon head towards the dragon realm. The people saw him and congratulate him for saving the outpost, Andhera smiled and leave the outpost. Gil and the warriors arrived at the place only the battle has been ended. One of the guards explains to him, that a person saves them from the dragon attack. Gil knew it was Andhera and order the soldier to help the people there. Andhera returned toward Fafnir and the Earth dragon was there as well. Fafnir asks him why he did not kill the dragon and Andhera replied: “you did not ask to kill the dragon only to stop and that is why I tame him…” Fafnir realizes that he requested that and he laughs “oh how honorable this child is…. No wonder Elvinus agreed to this every well… I will be called Mireu wait at the peak of the mountain and try talking to her, from today onwards you are my friend and the dragons are your family, my child. Andhera explain that the earth Dragon was under a spell by someone, and Andhera hold Fafnir's head and Fafnir knew who that person is, he said: “Nergal….the god of war….this is the reason why ELvinus agreed to this…” Fafnir asks Andhera the reason to meet Mireu and he said “I wanted to meet someone…a goddess name Eir….” Fafnir explains “be careful my friend Nergal is not someone that you could face alone… even though he is the god of war…he is also the god of treachery and trickery….. I must not let you be alone in this…. This Earth Dragon that you tame wanted to be on your side….” Andhera smile at the dragon and said “are you sure to be at my side?” The Earth dragon nodded and bowed at him “called my true name…” and Andhera held his head and said his true name “Ash…be my friend and companion” the dragon transforms into a small fairy and said to him “I will be on your side my friend…” Andhera smile and bow at Fafnir “thank you for this offer, I have made a new friend…” and they head towards the peak with Fafnir and he called Mireu. To my surprised Andhera Mireu was even larger and when it was closer, it was even dazzling compared to Fafnir and he bowed at her.

Fafnir called Mireu “Lady Mireu, master of the sky I seek your counsel…” Mireu began to speak and transform into a humanoid and Fafnir also transformed. Fafnir look like a man of elegance tall with red hair, while Mireu was beautiful with silver hair with blue eyes and 4 silver wings on her back that shone. “My Lord Fafnir what is the urgency do want to bathe in my beauty ?” Fafnir smiled and grin “your beauty is something that I must be wary of…” Andhera knew that the two are close friends. Mireu looks at the boy and introduces herself “my, a child. what are you doing here?!” Fafnir explains that he saved this earth dragon from the spell that was caused by Nergal, Mireu explains “that god is always mischievous yet he must a purpose for doing this…did you take someone that Nergal like?” Andhera was surprised that Mireu knew about this and explain “Lady Eir her name, yet I do not know of this matter. I must meet her and Nergal to settle this issue or else all of this will be another problem in the future…” Mireu agreed to send him to the eternal realm. Mireu ask him to be prepared for anything, Andhera nodded and Fafnir said to him “sometimes swords do not solve all things yet reasoning will be the best answer by that person Andhera my friend.” Andhera agreed and bowed at Fafnir “I will return…” Fafnir gave him a spell “this is for your protection, and my scale is the mark of friendship among dragons, the dragons in the realms are not something to be trifle with” Andhera bowed Fafnir joked to him “did you bear gifts of marriage ?” Andhera was embarrassed “I m just wanted to meet them not marry someone” Fafnir laughed “to see someone who dared to enter the realm just to meet them is not something you see in a lifetime…hahaha” he laugh and Mireu giggle as well “very well young child is it time to leave…” as he rode Mireu alongside Ash, Andhera wanted to talk to Mireu and Ash about the dragons and the world of Eternal realm. Mireu explains the realm while Ash explains about the dragons. Mireu said to Andhera “rare to see a person that wanted to seek further about the world, you are one of a kind child…” they exchange ideas and knowledge among each other while above the skies, Mireu explain that once reached the end of the sky she will use her powers to enter the realm. Andhera explains “this is the reason why neither one could enter, not even an airship could enter this realm if I modify the airship specification to Mireu powers maybe…” Mireu sighs herself “imagination is the true power of this child that is….” Ash was fascinated by this and said “we could anywhere around the world in a short time!!” Andhera agreed and he said “maybe we could build one Ash!! Traveling around the world with no fear of time” Andhera was absorbed with his idea and he began to mumble, Mireu smiled at him “No wonder Fafnir was easily tame by this child….” As they reach the end of the light they reach the realm, words could not explain the beauty of the place, floating island, and endless forest with waters below. As they reach the place, Mireu said to them “this is the end of my reach I will wait here…” Andhera asks where it is and Mireu said to him “your heart will lead you…” she kisses his forehead “may fortune guide you…child” Andhera and Ash travel towards the pathway and Mireu said to herself “so this is the chosen one….this will one of his strengths” Andhera was amazed by the place “this is like the story I read in books…” as he travels meet inhabitants of the realm until he reaches the place where another island was there yet there is none of a bridge nearby. He called the Spirit bird and flew towards the island. He saw a building that was out of this world, filled with lights. He called the wisp spirit to guide him the way. Until he reaches the chambers wondering why it is empty to hear someone calling him “child this way..” He saw Skuld and meet her “so it seems that you reach here safely…Elvinus was expecting you..” Andhera and Skuld meet Elvinus, Andhera bowed at the god. Elvinus ask him “why seek this far child?” Andhera explains “to seek an answer from Nergal about why he did this?” Elvinus ask “is it so…why not just meet the Eir?” Andhera answered, “it is one of it yet the reason I came here to settle with Nergal which is why he wanted to manipulate the dragon to seek destruction in the world where they worship all of the gods…” Elvinus is surprised by this “is this what the creator wanted him to become? To be the medium…the link to all of the world…is it?” Andhera explains “I wanted to seek an answer from Nergal himself… to why all of this….” Elvinus smiled “very well I will lead you to Nergal, he seeks in the hand of marriage to Eir…” Andhera was surprised by this yet he remains calm and he asks about the location of the marriage. Elvinus had other ideas “this seems to be fun… follow me child” he grin and Skuld held her head “hah…Lord Elvinus….” Andhera wondered why and followed him toward Nergal.

Elvinus, Skuld, Ash, and Andhera head toward the location where Nergal is. To his surprise Eir was there as well, Nergal and Eir were together. Eir shouted, “I will not!!” Nergal pleads to her “please marry me!! You know that I like you.!!” Eir rejected the offer, Elvinus grinned again “how dare Nergal to make a move without my permission….hehehe…” Skuld held her head and Andhera only smile in concern, “I have a bad feeling about this…” Ash wonders about this. Eir warns him “if you try to hurt Andhera again, you what will happen…” her killer eye gaze at Nergal and Nergal become serious “If you don’t marry me I will… force you in hand in marriage…” Andhera felt something in his heart trying to stop it yet Elvinus knew this and said to him “patient child… observe her…” Eir responds “His heart is not something you could stop, I felt it when he was born… I know it when all of the spirit fairies surround him…the creator summons him for a reason… the creator’s will is something none of us understand or even tried to prospect… I first I only wanted to guide him yet in time, I knew he will be special as if he will be the light…” Eir look at him and pointed her finger “you are the one that manipulates the dragons is it, do you want the dragons to declared war against us!!?” Nergal responds “I did not have any spell that could control the dragons, Fafnir understand this…” Eir was upset and she said to Nergal “do you seek war again? Just for this!?” Nergal answered, “why do you think of this Eir?” Eir did not respond and Nergal shouted “THIS IS LOVE!! MY LOVE FOR YOU!!” Nergal release a dark shroud surrounding his body, Skuld did not see this yet Andhera saw this and explain to Elvinus “this is corruption within him…” Elvinus was surprised “indeed you are special…very well allow me to help you” Andhera explains that he needs to find a catalyst to contain the corruption, and Skuld said to use this crystal where Andhera use “appraisal spell” and he smiles “this is perfect… then shall we start?” Elvinus and Skuld agreed “Andhera said “bringing others is unnecessary this will complicate the matter” Elvinus agreed and said to him “may further protect you…” Andhera jumps towards them, surprising Eir and Nergal. Eir said to him in surprise “Andhera!!! What are you doing here!?” Andhera responds “that will be later, let us settle this…first” Eir felt nothing of relief yet she gazes towards Elvinus as Elvinus grin “let the lecture be later for now let us be safe Nergal…” Nergal shouted at Andhera “FINALLY YOU ARE HERE THEN LET US SETTLE THIS WHO WILL BE WITH EIR!!!!!”
