Tutor

The girl on the other side was speechless, she opened the door and saw a child like figure on the other side. The person wore a mask, but his height was even below her!

"W-What? Daddy, did you really buy a little brother for me?" The girl asked with a puzzled expression

Kuang Lin shook his head

"How should I know what he meant? Do I seem like the type who would buy little brothers for you? If anything, I can just make a little brother for you when your mother is back" Kuang Lin replied

The girl, Fei Fei, was speechless, even Lan Du was surprised by how easy-going CEO Lin was. In fact, she found her personality interesting and favourable.

Lan Du giggled and removed her mask

"I'm your newly hired tutor, pleased to meet you" Beneath the mask was a delicate face, yet it wasn't Lan Du's face!

Lan Du wore a skin mask to hide her real appearance, however, this delicate face was still very shocking to both Fei Fei and Kuang Lin.

"Aren't you a bit too young?" She reached out her hands and pinched her face.

Lan Du removed her hand

"I do have a very cute face, I get it a lot, miss Fei Fei, you're one of the very few who have seen my face though" Lan Du said sweetly

"Now, I'll be watching over you doing your homework" Lan Du said cutely

Fei Fei glanced at Kuang Lin who nodded his head

She sighed and flicked Lan Du's head.

"Just because you are my tutor doesn't mean I'll listen to you" She said with a cold voice, her eyes were piercing as she stared at Lan Du.

Lan Du's eyes became teary and watery

"Meanie!" She cried out, Fei Fei was shocked, she began to panic as with Lan Du's appearance, she did seem like a bully.

"I-I get it, I'll let you tutor me!" She said hurriedly

Lan Du's tears immediately disappeared

"Alright, then let our classes begin" She clasped her hands together and smiled brightly, her sudden change shocked her, did she just get played?

Kuang Lin stared at the two and his lips trembled as he tried not to laugh, he found Lan Du's actions to be very amusing and probably effective on his daughter.

Fei Fei stared at Lan Du and her expression was grim, she allowed Lan Du into her room, and they sat down. Lan Du got herself a chair from the side and sat beside Fei Fei at her desk.

"Now, miss Fei Fei, tell me what subjects you excel at and ones you find troublesome, it's a bit late so I won't stay for too long today, I will come again tomorrow after I finalise all your work points" Lan Du said with a sweet smile.

Fei Fei stared at her

"And if I say no?" She asked

Lan Du's eyes became water and seemed as if she would cry any moment.

"I get it, I'll do it!" She said hurriedly

Lan Du wiped her eyes and smiled

"Miss Fei Fei, please state the subjects, I will begin making a mental note on all of them" Lan Du said sweetly, having no signs of the previous teary expression.

Fei Fei now knew her greatest enemy, it was Lan Du.

"You're my tutor, I haven't gotten to know your name yet" She asked

Lan Du rubbed her chin

"Call me, Xiao Mo" Lan Du said with a cute smile

Seeing Lan Du like this, Fei Fei couldn't help but want to pinch her cheeks and give her a hug.

'How old is he really? How can he be so adorable...'

After talking to Fei Fei, Lan Du summed it all up and took out a tablet.

"Miss Fei Fei, from tomorrow onwards, I will be staying at your place as well, apart from being your tutor, I am also a hired bodyguard, so I'll be in your care for a good while" Lan Du chuckled and left the room

Fei Fei who was still in a daze snapped out

"What!" She didn't even have time to ask Lan Du when she saw Lan Du leave through the front door. Her father then walked in with a light smile.

"So? How was it?" He asked

Fei Fei fiddled with her fingers.

"H-He wasn't bad" She muttered silently

On her way back, Lan Du went to a nearby store to buy more snacks for Hui Yue, she walked back slowly and stopped when a car stopped in front of her. The windscreen scrolled down as a young man peaked his head out.

"Kids like you shouldn't be out here alone, how about big brother give you a ride hope" He winked and said with a big smile.

Lan Du felt a trace of disgust rise

"I'd rather not go near a potential pedo" Lan Du replied and walked around the car.

The young man started laughing

"It isn't up to you" He said as four men walked out of the car and surrounded her. Lan Du looked around and turned to the young man.

"Tell me, who are you and why were you at Fei Fei's place" He growled

Lan Du tilted her head

"Ah, could you be one of those rich second generation young masters who are in love with a high-class girl in order to obtain her status, but the love is one-sided, so you put your anger on whomever you see come out their house? Damn, what a creep" Lan Du clasped her hands and said as if she understood everything.

She rubbed her chin

"No wonder her father hired a tutor who can also act as a bodyguard" Lan Du muttered

The young man gritted his teeth

"Capture him! I want to torture that bastard!" He shouted

Lan Du snickered, when one of the men punched her, she accepted the punch as it landed on her face. But her body was unmoved and her face only budged.

"Oh ho ho, this is just cute" Lan Du grabbed his arm and her hands tightened. The man felt his bone break as he screamed out in pain. This shocked the others, how could someone so small exert so much force? And why did that punch not work on her at all? Was her face made of steel?

Lan Du then kicked his leg and caused him to fall to his knees. Lan Du then grabbed his other arm and stood behind him. She pulled up his arms and placed one leg on his back.

"I love this technique, it breaks the arms so effortlessly and the sound just breaks in, don't you think so? Though I prefer more cracks, but this is satisfying enough" Lan Du smirked and pressed her feet down harder.

"AHHHHHH!" The man screamed in agony, tears rolled down his face as his face became distorted.

Lan Du giggled as she listened to his screams

"Music to my ears" She said as she tossed him aside after breaking his arms.

"I'm curious, what gave you the confidence to touch me?" Lan Du smiled sadistically as she approached the other three bodyguards. They grew wary and all ran towards her, one grabbed her arm as the other two tried to attack her. However, Lan Du laughed.

"Adorable" She laughed as she elbowed the man holding her, he coughed and fell forward as Lan Du used one hand to grab his throat.

She clenched it and tossed him over at the other two.

She then spat out some red liquid.

"That punch earlier hurt" However, despite her words, she wore a cruel smile as she stepped on the man she threw.

She stepped on his chest and pressed harder.

"I wonder if the sound of your ribs breaking would be as satisfying as the breaking of that man's arms" Lan Du giggled, and a crack sound was heard.

"AHHHHHH"

Screams filled the silent night, the young man who was in his car paled as he tried to drive away. But Lan Du's hand shot through the window and grabbed his throat.

"Where do you think you're going?" Lan Du was about to punch him in the face when her phone started ringing. She retracted her fist and held up the phone.

To her surprise, it was CEO Lin!

'How did he get my number already?'

She accepted the call and put it on speaker

"Hello boss, what can I do for you?" Lan Du spoke in a cheerful manner, when the young man made a noise, Lan Du just squeezed his throat tighter so nothing came out.

[Lad, I can see everything that is going on, I recommend that you don't kill the young mad] CEO 

Lin said slowly, Lan Du turned around but didn't see anyone.

[Don't bother searching, I have eyes everywhere in this region]

"You're the boss, however, what he did will take a lot of therapy sessions for me" Lan Du said pitifully

[You? Therapy? I think his guards are the one who needs therapy, I though the guild was joking 

when they said you're the Devil's incarnation, but it seems I was the one who was ignorant, that kid is my niece's friend, though I don't care much about him, his backing isn't weak]

Lan Du frowned

"Can I at least get a raise then? Tutoring is one thing, but fending off your daughter's suitors is not part of the contract"

[No problem, I can give you a bottle of spirit dew in advance] CEO Lin replied casually

Lan Du paused, she pulled back her hand and patted the young man's shoulders.

"Hahaha, lad, you're quite lucky today" She leaned into the window "Do this again and even the CEO can't stop me"

[Your mood changes faster than Fei Fei's]

"I'm a very upright person" Lan Du said in a serious manner

[Oh? How so?]

"I'll listen if you have the things I want" Lan Du replied without an ounce of shame, the young man trembled in the car as he stared at Lan Du.

"What? Keep staring and I gauge out your eyeballs" Lan Du noticed and said coldly

CEO Lin began rethinking his choice in hiring Lan Du, did he make the right choice? his daughter wouldn't be exposed to danger, would she?

Lan Du chuckled

"Well, I'll see your daughter tomorrow" Lan Du then hung up and walked off, ignoring the bodies she left on the ground and the traumatised young man.

Fei Fei stared at her father

"Father, what did he say?" She asked earnestly

"He said he'll meet you tomorrow, and he would fend off suitors if we give him the right benefits" Kuang Lin replied with a trace of helplessness, he also held a tablet in his hand in which still was showing the scene of Lan Du's incident with the group.

He didn't show it to Fei Fei as it was a violent scene, but he took mental note on her abilities.

"Fei Fei...when you go out, make sure to take Xiao Mo with you, he should be able to take on any suitors for you" He said lightly and closed the tablet.

Fei Fei tilted her head

"Why is that father?" She asked

CEO Lin coughed as he shifted his eyes

"G-Gut feelings" He replied, not telling her about Lan Du's outrageously violent behaviours.

Fei Fei became even more confused, all she sees Lan Du as was a child like tutor who would use fake tears to get her to do her work. She didn't see any points as to how she can fend off her suitors.

Her father didn't say anything else, he just left without a word as the scene of Lan Du viciously breaking the man's arm replayed vividly in his head.

He then saw a message pop up on his phone, when he opened the message, he saw a photo. Inside, was Lan Du holding the young man by his hair as she forced a smile on his face. His had bruises on his face and was crying as well. Below were some words.

[See, we're on good terms already, told you I was an upright person]

He was completely speechless, Lan Du's actions just makes him question reality.

'Should I keep him away from my daughter?'

He then felt his phone vibrate again, he saw anaother text come in.

[As for the extra spirit dew, send it to the mercenary guild, I'll go pick it up later, also, tell your niece that I beat up his friend, if he feels indignant, I'll beat him up as well, you can't blame me for self defence]

Kuang Lin suddenly wanted to crush his phone, he took in a deep breath and placed it in his pocket before turning to Fei Fei.

"Fei Fei, I changed my mind, don't bring that kid with you unless you have to" He said seriously, he didn't want Lan Du to go around beating people up just because they offended her.

Fei Fei was now even more confused, why did her father change his mind so fast? She shook her head and chose to ignore it.

"Father, then can I just stay home tomorrow? I don't want to go to school, every other kids my age are already on holidays, yet my school only gives one at the end of the year" She puffed her cheeks and asked

He shook his head

"No, you must go, this is for yur own good, otherwise, you'll end up like your aunt-never mind, just be agood girl and attend school" His face was a bit moody as he left.

Fei Fei pouted and went back to her room

The next day, Lan Du picked up the spirit dew and headed to the mansion. When she entered, she saw Fei Fei getting pulled by the maid.

"Young miss, you must go to school" The maid said as she pulled fFei Fei who was grabbing onto a wall.

"No!" She shouted

Lan Du walked over to Fei Fei

"Miss Fei Fei, how about this, if you go to school like a good girl, I'll by you anything you want on the way" Lan Du said with a light smile

Fei Fei glanced at her and her grip loosened

"Really?" Her eyes lit up

Lan Du nodded

"You father informed me to follow you wherever you go, especially school, he said that boys are always looking at you, so he wants me to make them...compromise" Lan Du paused near the end before speaking

Fei Fei gave her a strange look

"You look so weak, how did you even become a mercenary?" She questioned

Lan Du rubbed he chin

"Miss Fei Fei, my private affairs are not part of the contract, so shall we leave for school?" Lan Du smiled and asked

Fei Fei nodded

As they left, Fei Fei would ask her to buy different food and snacks, aparently her father limited her allowance so she can't spend much on food. Now that Lan Du was here, she didn't hold back as she won't need to pay for it.

Lan Du was surprised that the girl was such a glutton, when they arrived in front of the school grounds, Fei Fei glanced at Lan Du.

"Will you follow me into class as well?" She asked

Lan Du nodded

"Of course, as your private tutor, I need to understand your current situation in school, if you have anything you need help with, I can also help you out" Lan Du said calmly

Fei Fei giggled

"What would you know? Have you even taught anyone before?" She said sweetly as she pulled Lan Du into class. Lan Du's appearance caught many people's attention, they were curious as to who this young boy came from.

When some boys walked over to talk to Fei Fei and asked about Lan Du, she grabbed Fei Fei's hand.

"Miss Fei Fei, your class is about to start, if you waste time on useless dregs, I'll have to pull you to class myself" Lan Du said in a calm manner as she disreguarded the male students.

"Huh? You brat, who are you calling dregs?!" One of them shouted

Lan Du glared at him

"Shut up before I gut you with my bare hands" Lan Du said coldly

The student took a step back, he was shocked by the language the person in front of him had. Even Fei Fei was surprised, she didnt expect Lan Du to have such a temper.

Lan Du then pulled Fei Fei to her class and stood behind her. Some o fFei Fei's friends walked over and started a conversation, they then glanced at Lan Du and asked about her.

After knowing she was her tutor, they were all shocked, they thought she was her younger sibling.

"But he looks so young!"

"Damn, does that mean he's a legal sh*ta?" One of the girl murmured

When she said that, everyone stared at her with a strange expression, Lan Du was no exception.

Lan Du coughed and blushed lightly

"I-I'm not mentally prepared for those things, I know I look like this but..." Lan Du's ears were 

slightly red and her eyes shifted.

'C-Cute!'

All the girls around thought the same thing at that moment, the boy was too cute!
