"Ms. Tsundere" Is Confirmed As A True Tsundere"

I, Kazuhiko Kazushi, incidentally kissed the “Ms. Tsundere” of our class, also known as Furumi Furimizawa-san.

*School Bell Rings*

As the school bell rings, signaling the start of lunch break, everyone heads off to join their friends. As for me, I don’t have anyone to eat with in our class since I’m known as the “Introverted Loner” and the lowest person in our class.

Since I don’t have anyone to eat with, I decided to go to the school cafeteria to buy something. Normally, I bring a lunch box from home, but on days when my mom works overnight, she’s too tired to make one and unfortunately, I can’t make my own lunch because my cooking is, well, what you might call… poison food.

It’s just me and my mom at home since my father left us for another woman, what a bastard, ain't he? So well, today comes another cafeteria food day. 

When I arrive at the cafeteria, it’s as crowded as always. After a few minutes, I managed to buy something—a melon bread.

After that, I headed straight to my usual lunch spot, the school rooftop. However, when I opened the door to the rooftop, I see someone sitting on one of the benches. That someone is… Furumi Furimizawa-san.

As I enter, our eyes meet. But not long after, Furimizawa-san averts her gaze, just like a scene from an anime.

I assume she’s waiting for someone. 

To tell you the truth, I thought she was waiting for me to talk about what happened in the morning, but that wasn’t the case.

Then, I’m safe—or so, that's what I thought…

I sat down at one of the benches on the rooftop, and just as I was about to open my melon bread, someone else entered the rooftop.

That someone was a boy. He didn’t seem to be from our class, as I didn’t recognize his face. Moreover, he is quite handsome.

By the way, even though I was given the nickname “Mr. Loner” and being looked down upon by most of my classmates, I’m not the type to hate them or forget their faces and names, okay?

Anyways, back to the topic… As the boy walked in and saw the girl there, it was clear that an event was about to start. And that event is called… The Confession Event.

As I grasped what was about to happen, I quickly got up from my seat with my unopened melon bread and hurried towards the only exit that could save me. However…

“You, you’re eating here, right? Don’t worry about us and continue eating,” Furumi said with a grin.

With that, my only escape route was blocked. I had no choice but to obey the highest person in our class. Reluctantly, I returned to my seat and sat down. But instead of opening my melon bread and eating it, I froze in place, filled with awkwardness. It felt like my entire body was being held in a vice grip.

Not long after, Furimizawa-san started to talk.

“So, why did you call me here?” she asked the boy in question.

“Before that, is it fine for you that there’s someone else here?” the boy in question replied.

Pfft… This guy is kind of funny. Shouldn’t he just say it’s not fine because he’s scared of being rejected and having rumors spread about him? But well, he shouldn’t be scared. I don’t think anyone would believe me if I spread rumors. They probably wouldn’t even care to listen.

After the boy’s question, Furimizawa-san answered.

“It’s okay for me, so if you have something to say, say it,” she said, sounding like a tsundere.

This is why others misunderstand her as a tsundere. But I don’t think she is one. I’m a fan of anime tsundere girls, after all.

A few awkward seconds later, it happened.

“Furimizawa-san, I like you. Please go out with me!” the boy in question exclaimed.

And just like that, the area was immediately enveloped in awkwardness. As for me, the awkwardness I felt was even more intense. I wondered if I could hold out. Right now, I felt like I was going to faint from everything happening around me.

Not too long after, Furimizawa-san took a deep breath and said, “I won’t go out with you.”

Furimizawa-san again said it in a tsundere act way. As for the boy, he looked shocked as he got rejected. I could only think… Rip to you, handsome guy… I hope you can move on fast. If it were me, I might have left this world already because of emotional damage.

However, the boy in question was persistent and asked her, “Why? Why won’t you go out with me?”

Again, Furimizawa-san took a deep breath and said, “Why, you ask? It’s because there is someone that I’d like to take responsibility for something he did.”

*Gulp* Oh no, this is quite bad… really, really bad. I already have a feeling who this someone is.

The boy in question, still persistent, asked Furimizawa-san a barrage of questions. “What? Who is this someone? Why do you need this someone to take responsibility? And what is this something?”

He asked so many questions that I couldn’t even keep up with what he was saying. However, Furimizawa-san gave him only one answer, and that was…

“I can’t answer that,” Furimizawa-san said.

Even though the boy’s next question wasn’t answered, it was still unusual for Furimizawa-san to respond to the first question.

According to rumors, after she rejects someone in a tsundere way, she would leave immediately. Even if the boy asked another question, she would just ignore it and leave. But this time, it was different.

A few moments later, the handsome boy in question started to shed tears, breaking his handsome facade. He ran away, leaving the area crying.

As for me, I decided to leave the area as soon as possible. I stood up and walked quickly towards the only exit that would not just save my life but also help me escape the scary boss. However, my exit was blocked when Furimizawa-san stood in front of the door leading downstairs.

I realized I should have escaped earlier. Now, there was no going back. My only choice was to ask her, or else this awkward atmosphere would last until the break was over. So, I decided to speak up, but before I could, Furimizawa-san spoke first.

“You, you’re Kazuhiko Kazushi from the same class as mine, right?” Furimizawa-san asked.

“Yes,” I answered politely.

A moment of silence enveloped us. I decided to break the silence myself.

“Ummm… Furimizawa-san? Why are you blocking my way?” I asked.

I successfully broke the silence, but I touched the wrong button.

“Why? You’re asking me why? Haven’t you heard earlier that I was going to make someone take responsibility for something?” she replied.

Oh no… I better brace myself.

She took a deep breath and said, “You are the guy who will take responsibility!”

“I’m sorry, Furimizawa-san! Please just forget what happened this morning, and I will also forget what happened this morning too!” I immediately tried to apologize, thinking it would work.

However, it failed.

“Huh?! You say just forget it?! Do you think it’s that easy to forget?! Moreover, that was my first kiss!” she exclaimed.

I’m done for… I just hope I can survive this. I thought she would make me do something horrible, but that wasn’t the case.

And here it is…

“Kazuhiko Kazushi, you will go out with me!!! Hmph! Be thankful!” she declared.

“Ehhhh!!!” I exclaimed.

And so, I couldn’t hold myself together anymore and gradually lost consciousness.

“Hey, Kazuhiko! Wake up!” Furumi’s voice echoed.

Even as I was losing consciousness, I could still hear Furimizawa-san’s voice… Ha… Furimizawa-san is a tsundere after all. I wonder what will happen to us from now on?
